Nearly 6 months have passed. Lets me tell you their own situation right now.

~Dex aced all his class and now facing whether or not to gift everyone something.

~Nik got himself a shield and he is now meeting up with the commander for something important.

~Nico also aced all his class and he's now meeting up with Brin for something important.

~Brin was top one student of the first year, he is in advance leadership class now and he's waiting for Nico to come by.

~Grace found that the mask that Dex gave to her got some magic to engrave into it and now is seeking Dex to help figure out this carving.

~Eliza train her magic the most out of everyone, and now she is facing a decision to learn a different branch of her own magic, or advance version. (it's like how one skill tree, that branches off to two different skill set)

~Ash learned that her family is sending over a gift to her and now she is pacing around waiting for it.

~Lily lost to dex in a duel and now she is training herself in the forest.

Now we're somewhat catch up, let the story begin.

<Nico and Brin side of the story>

"Man, what's taking Nico so long to show up? It's been like 10 minutes past the meetup point." brin said tapping his foot on the ground. Nico walk around the corner and walk towards brin.

"What's so important that you only call me up?" Nico ask

"Nik is meeting his teacher right now so I didn't disturb him. As for Dex, well he just doing something stupid again, I didn't bother," Brin answered and Nico sigh at Dex part.

"Let's get to the point. You know the royal brawl thingy is around the corner right?" Nico nod

"As of yet, we don't know who is in the royal brawl. But the good thing for us is that they didn't get any information on our fighting style and how strong we are. So we must rely on Nik and Dex to take us as far as they can before we show our strength. I already told this to Nik and he agreed on it, but we both know that Dex will be ok with this since he will follow most of my decision that affects himself too." Brin said

"Dex is going to lose that dagger of his if he doesn't maintain it and fix it," Nico said

"I agree but Dex is going to use that dagger to the bitter end since that dagger was forged by himself when he was younger. So it's the creature and welder choice to use it to it's fullest. And plus that dagger might have agreed to that term." Brin smiled then laugh at the thought of that.

"But anyway, we got to train even harder to 'wow' the crowd into supporting us; Or hates us." Brin said with a serious face on him. And Nico agreed to that, he waved his goodbyes then turn his back on Brin before he starts walking around the corner to somewhere else. Brin looks at the palm of his hand than clench it tightly with a big grin on his face.

<Nik side of the story>

Nik opens the door to the commander office. To his surprise, the office was neat and tidy with different variants of blades hanging on the wall or in a display case. Nik looks over one of the blades. It was a saber, but it was straight like a sword, the cross guard was only protecting the fingers and the grip was made with some polish wood that he couldn't recognize. He could tell that there is some magic engraving that was forged into the sword. "You have good eyes on the sword." a voice behind him speaks up, Nik jump and then turn just to see a bearded guy sitting on the commander seat.

"Ummm, hello sir? You wanted to speak with me, commander?" Nik asks nervously,

"Yeah, I do. He owes me 50 silver coins and a barrel of ale." the bearded guy said with a laugh

"That's a lot of coins to owe someone," Nik said

"I know right! Dang that young fella better pay me back." the guy grumble under his breath

After a long minute of silence, the commander stands up and walk towards the door. he opened the door just to see a long-bearded guy before he quickly closes the door. The bearded guy In Nik surprised, he was like 6'6 just barely touching the ceiling. "Why does he look way shorter from far away?!" Nik thought to himself. the commander just storms outside, breaking the door down and the framed as he rushes off. "COME BACK HERE LITTLE POLLY! POLLY WANT A CRACKER?!" beard dude said with a explosive laughter. Nik sighed and resuming admiring the weapons that hang around the room.

Half an hour later

Nik was admiring a bow made of iron and leather, that was hung that was surrounded by a different type of large creature heads. As he finishes admiring the bow, someone steps over the broken down door that was still laying on the floor. Nik turns around and sees commander standing there breathing heavily. He slowly walks to his desk and slumps on the chair. He slowly raised a finger up to tell him to give him a moment. After a long five minute, commander sits straight up and hands folded on the desk.

"Why you ask me to come here, Sir?" Nik asks standing straight up, hands folded behind him.

"I got a royal privilege, to bring some students of mine to visit the castle to watch the royal guards train and might take part in it." the commander said. In many months with the commander, Nik was surprised and yet uneasy with commander not yelling everything he said.

"Not use to me yelling little o'nik, well don't get too comfortable with my real voice." the commander said,

"Well, I don't mind going to the castle just to watch the royal guards train," Nik said and the commander nods before he speaks again. "Well the trip is a few days after the royal brawl start so you can take part of it," Nik nodded

"Also, that old guy that was here, was the royal guard commander and the castle blacksmiths."

"Why was he here commander?" Nik asks

"He just wants to see one of the people who might be joining him in the trip." the commander said before he waves Nik off, "you are dismissed." Nik salute by put his right fist near his heart before he left the room.

Grace side of the story

"Dammit, where the heck is that lazy bugga!?" grace mutter to herself. She is walking around the campus looking for Dex to decrypt the engraving. It took a while for grace to found dex, but she found him under a tree taking a nap in the shadow. Grace sneakily walk near the tree just to scare Dex. as grace gone near the tree, she notices there's a lot of hands made item around him. She looks confused but she quickly whack Dex side of the head with her mask. Dex slowly wakes up, "hmm what 'cha want?" Dex mutter,

"I just need your help on something," grace said than hand Dex the mask. "There's a magic engraving on the mask, so I wonder what it might be." Dex take the mask off grace hand and examine it. It was a bunch of symbols surround a flower like a pattern. Dex can understand that this is a high-level engraving, Dex also understands that this mask is too strong to use for a long time. Dex muttering something that grace mind cannot comprehend. But after some time, Dex place down the mask and start rubbing his face tired.

"What does it say?" grace ask

"It has a bunch of animal-related enhancement/spell attach to it. But the other is written in demonic or something so I couldn't understand what other things it can do." Dex said

Grace eyes went wide and ask "DOES THAT MEAN I CAN BECOME A WOLF!?"

Dex covers his ears, "damn girl you're too loud. I just woke up and work on the thing you ask." Dex said and slowly yawn. Grace stared at Dex for some time before she drops kick Dex in the face. Dex is on the ground twitching in pain and muttering something in pain. Grace feels slightly bad about it, but she waves off the feeling away. She picks Dex up by the collar and then said, "you tired now!?" Dex mutter something and nod, grace drop Dex on the ground and sigh. "Your an idiot Dex," Grace said as she picks up the mask,

"well I guess I see you around Dex."

"That mask doesn't make you into a wolf. It just makes a "physical" form with your magic; or give you wolf ears, eyes, and a tail." Dex said as he sits back up against the tree with his right forearm covering his eyes. Grace smiled as he said that and then stared at the mask, thinking about something before she runs off. Dex sighed and slowly resuming what he was doing before he took a nap.

Eliza side of the story

She is pacing around in the room and thinking about her magic. "Maybe I should speak to the others about this." she slaps her face then make a serious face. "NO! I must decide this on my own! I must choose the one that fit my style the best." she slaps her face again, then she starts to meditate.

Hours later

Eliza was meditating for a long time, but a few moments later Eliza glowed bright green with a shade of brown. And then a mark of a small great tree appear on her left shoulder blades, she doesn't notice it, yet. Eliza slowly flickers her eyes as she finishes meditating. She gets up and stretches outwards before she heads out smiling to herself thinking the new magic will help her friends. She laughs as soon as she is outside. People near her who heard her laughing thinks she is a crazy person.

Ash side of the story

She is pacing around in a circle in the main building, waiting for the package her family delivered for her. As she about to finish her 104th lap in the circle, the front lady called her name out. Ash went to her very quickly, "IS MY PACKAGE HERE!? She asked eagerly. The front lady slowly slides down the desk as she nervously hands her the package. Ash squeal as she grabs the box and runs straight to her room. She knocks over Eliza who was at this time, in the front of the door. She yelled sorry to Eliza very loud when she was at the stairwell.

She quickly opens the door and toss the box to one of the girl's bed and savagely rip the box open. It was an of clear crystal dagger and sword, and under the weapons was a black and red cloak with a mask sewed in it. Ash softly cried a bit before wiping the tears away. Ash tried on the cloak which fit her perfectly, there was a hidden weapon holster both side of the cloak for the dagger and sword. As she expected the crystal clear weapon, it was made of crystal like alloy made from hours of melting it, then mix it with other things, such as uroniute, (crystals that is pink with blue taint on it) poatrin, (clear crystal that have a faint glow) and jesol (strong metal that can let you see through if it was processed correctly) even she can tell there's some enchantment on these blades to help her out. She smiled and mutter 'Thank you' as she holds the item close to her. Lilly just walks into the room as ash hugging the gift before going to the restroom for a shower after training very hard.

Dex side of the story

He got lost and didn't return for the night. He returned the next day then acted like nothing happen.

A/C: Sorry I was gone for years. I didn't have much motivation to keep on writing the story. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy making their story. I just procreated and forgot about the book till weeks ago. Since I got some motivation to get back on, I'll try to update my book but no promises on that. Thank you all who do read my stuff after a long wait.
