Kiba and Y/N were sitting on the couches in the living room of the Hyoudou residence, drinking tea. Issei was also there, but was being pulled apart by the other girls of the ORC, battling for his affection.

Kiba: Where did Irina run off to?

Y/N: She said that she was hanging out with her cousin. I don't see a problem and I was planning on just chilling out here rather than go out for a contract.

Kiba: You sure you won't be lonely?

Y/N: I'll be fine. I'm not going to be having any guests or anything.

That was what Y/N didn't know. Soon, the door had flung open and out came a black blur, tackling Y/N to the floor of the manor.

Y/N: Ow! What the--

Serafall: Y/N! It's time!

Y/N: Kaa-san!? Time for what?

Serafall: ...You don't remember!?

Y/N: Remember what...?

Serafall: The day you were adopted! Come on!

Y/N: Cho-Chottomatte!

(A/N): Stands for wait a minute in Japanese. Yeah I'm a weeb.

Serafall proceeds to drag Y/N out of the room. Kiba proceeds to sip his tea as he has a smile on his face and the other ORC members just looked at the door in shock.

Everyone (except Kiba): What was that!?

Kiba: Hmm...very interesting. (sips tea)

Elsewhere

Serafall: (stretches) Ahhh! That felt great!

As the Leviathan was stretching, trailing behind her was Y/N, exhausted as he was carrying four shopping bags full of clothes.

Y/N: Did you have to buy this much!?

Serafall: (smiles) Of course I have too, sweetie. Besides, I have something for you to do at then end.

Y/N: And what's that?

Serafall: That's a secret!~

As she proceeds to walk forward, Y/N sighs before smiling and proceeds to walk forward, carrying the bags as he went.

The next scene shows the two walking around a carnival, as Y/N had dropped off the clothes beforehand at the house. The two spent their time playing games and enjoying the various foods there.

The next scene changes to Serafall in her magical outfit as Y/N and her somehow stumbled across a convention for the popular series for the show that had the magical girl. As Serafall was currently doing different poses for all the otakus that were taking pictures of her, Y/N stood in the background, sighing and shaking his head.

Y/N: I knew I shouldn't have let her buy that. Dammit.

The next scene was them again back in the shopping town, with Serafall dragging Y/N around to each different store trying different clothing.

The first clothing was Serafall in a kimono, but it was more outgoing and it made her easier to move. She brandished it to Y/N, who was smiling as he gave a quick thumbs up to his mother, approving of the outfit.

The next store was a Halloween themed store. The holiday was coming up soon and people were already hanging up their decorations. There were pumpkins all around, fake cobwebs were planted on the street lamps. Fake tombstones were put up at every corner of every block. The people were getting into the spirit as the two walked down the street, amazed at how festive it was for the season. Serafall went into the store and Y/N followed, quite curious as to why his mother was going to buy another costume when she already has her magical girl outfit she could wear for a Halloween party.

As Y/N waited outside the changing rooms, he heard his mother's cheerful voice from inside, telling him to come in. He walked in and smiled at the outfit his mother picked out.

Serafall: Well? How about this one?

Y/N: This one looks pretty good. You look good in it.

Serafall: Really? Yay! I'll go pay for it at the counter!

She chimed as she said that, making her way to the counter. Y/N gave a warm smile as she took off for the counter. Y/N kept looking around some more until his mother came running to him, in a fit.

Serafall: Y/N...!

Y/N: Huh? What's wrong?

Serafall: I'm out of money!

Y/N: (sigh) ...Fine. I'll go pay for it.

Serafall: Thanks sweet pea.

She kisses his cheek, leaving Y/N slightly flustered as he made his way up to the front, pulling out some money and leaving it on the counter and they made their way back to the Hyoudou Manor.

Y/N: You can't keep spending money on outfits, kaa-san! There's a limit!

Serafall: There's never a limit! I only buy the cutest outfits of all! Which reminds me...

Y/N: Hmm?

Serafall: Did you buy any other clothing? That's not black?

Y/N: ...

Serafall: Look who's talking mister! You can't just wear black clothing all the time! You need to have variety! Do you not go out on any shopping trips yourself!?

Y/N: How many times do I have to explain it! Black clothing are literally the best! (looks around) Where are we going anyway?

Serafall: It's a secret!~

Y/N: You said that last time!

Serafall: It is what I said last time. Now hush and follow mommy.

Y/N shook his head and followed his mother, carrying the bags as they arrived at the Hyoudou manor. They opened the door and Y/N set the bags down near the door step and looked for his mother.

He heard whispers in the living room and wondered why people were whispering, Curious, he wandered into the living room. He entered and it was dark. No trace of light or anything. He was about to call out for someone until the lights turned on abruptly and he shielded his eyes. When he opened them and his eyes widened and tears started to form, and a smile growing on his face.

There were balloons up and about and ribbons streaming from the ceiling. Colors everywhere as a giant banner hung from the ceiling. Everyone was presented in front of a table and there was a large cake on it sporting eighteen candles on it. Y/N's mercenary friends, Issei's parents don't know about their business, the ORC, Issei's parents, the Gremory's, Sona's peerage and her parents were there. And last, but not least, Irina.

Everyone: Happy birthday Y/N!

Y/N wipes his tears from his eyes and gives a genuine smile.

Y/N: Thank you everyone.

They all had a good time. Partying, laughing, cheering, and just having fun in general. It was now 11:30 PM and people were now starting to leave. Y/N and Irina laid in bed, Y/N playing with a loose strand of hair and Irina rested her head on Y/N's chest.

She raised her head and looked at the black haired boy with a loving smile.

Irina: So? Did you have a good time?

Y/N: Of course. But with you by my side, things are better.

Her smile grew as she heard those words. She leaned in on for a kiss and he returned it, slowly with passion. They separated and they both smiled at each other, staring into each other's eyes. They soon fell asleep, with each other held by their arms.
