Y/N: I'll ask again, Azazel. Who am I? What is the Star King?

The tension that filled the air. It was nerve racking. Kiba was worried at his friend. Issei was confused as to what was going on.

Irina was very concerned, and the others were concerned, but were curious to what the Star King was and why Y/N was called that. In fact, that's what he's known throughout the Sitri domain.

Azazel: ...It's not something easy to explain, but...all I can say is, you're of descent of a legendary king or rather a reincarnation. That's all I have at the moment.

Y/N sighs in frustration and starts to head to his room.

Azazel: But, if you want more information on your bloodline, find the place called the "Great Library." It's in the Underworld somewhere.

He doesn't respond and only continues where he's going, leaving the others concerned for the black haired boy.

Irina: I-I should go check on him.

She runs off and Rias looks to Azazel with a curious look.

Rias: I know Y/N was bestowed that title weeks ago, but what is the Star King exactly?

Azazel: That is something you'll have to ask Sirzechs about. He might not give the answers your looking for. (thoughts) Besides, Y/N isn't ready to learn of the burdens of what rests on his shoulders.

With Y/N

Y/N was laying on his bed, visibly ticked off. He wasn't provided the answers he wanted. Well, not all of it. His first clue was to find the Great Library. They said it was somewhere in the Underworld, but where?

So many questions had run through his mind right now. He didn't like being kept in the dark. He could always ask his mother, but he feared that he would receive the same answers from Azazel. Basically, more questions that need to be asked.

Y/N: (grits teeth) Dammit...

???: (from behind door) Boo?

Y/N: Irina? (sigh) Come in.

The door opens to reveal the violet eyed beauty. She goes behind Y/N and pushes her chest into his back, leaning her chin on his shoulder as she put her arms around his neck.

Irina: Is something wrong?

Y/N: Yeah...just...a lot of questions that I hoped that could be answered.

Irina: How about we turn in for tonight? Sound good?

Y/N: Yeah...sounds lovely.

Irina: Good.

She pecks his cheek and she turns off the lights and the two lay down in bed. Irina was sleeping soundly, but Y/N was still pondering the questions.

The Great Library.

Sighing, he pulls Irina closer to him, resting his head on top of hers as she snuggled into the warmth of Y/N's body.

Next Day, Gremory Auditorium

The next day had arrived and the Gremory family were hosting an event. Issei was holding a show as the Boob Dragon.

Y/N was requested to be on security detail so he stood of to the side. He watched the show with disinterest, rather focusing on heading to the Great Library. 

Girl: Everyone! The Boob Dragon is in a pinch! Send your strength to Boob Dragon! All together now!

Kids: Boobs!

Y/N: (scoffs) If only these brats knew the true reason behind his status as a Devil. Harem king sounds stupid.

???: Well, you're not wrong.

Y/N looks to his left to see Sinon walking up to him.

Y/N: Oh, Sinon.

Sinon: You seem down. What's up?

Y/N: Just...pondering some things.

Sinon: At this point, that's all you do. So? What's on your mind?

Y/N: Have you heard of the Star King?

Sinon: C-Can't say I have? (thoughts) Is he starting to remember?

Y/N: Apparently he's some legendary king and I've been called the Star King for a few weeks now. (sigh) It's been confusing.

Sinon: I see.

Y/N: Yeah. It's--arrgh!

The black haired boy falls to his knees, clenching his head as he grunts in pain. Sinon kneels to her friend's side.

Sinon: Y/N, are you okay!?

Y/N: Me head...it hurts!

Sinon: (thoughts) He must be remembering. (normal) I'll get help!

Y/N slowly makes his way to one of the pillars for support, still clenching his head.

On the stage

Issei comes flying out of the ground for the show.

Issei: I can't just fall here! I've gotten stronger with everyone's power!

Kiba: The result will be the same no matter how many times we fight!

Issei: What!?

Kiba: You cannot beat me, Darkness Knight Fang!

Rias: (sweat drops) S-Save me. My beloved, B-Boob Dragon... (sigh) 

Issei and Kiba start to clash as they "fight" on the stage.

Kiba: You rascal!

Issei "punches" Kiba, but fakes out and is pulled up by strings from above, laughing like a maniac.

He soon lands on a platform and raises his sword and brings it down, acting as if he was launching a purple flame attack.

Kiba: Well, do you admit defeat? It's over, Boob Dragon.

Issei: Shit! If only the princess was by my side at a time like this...

Announcer: Boob Dragon, now is the time to shout for it!

Issei: I see! I got it! Summon, Boobs!

Soon, Rias rises from the stage, from below.

Issei: Whoa, Princess! (kneels) Princess! Excuse me! Here I go! Boys and girls, together now! Pole, aaaa!

Kids: Poke, aaaa!

The show goes on as Y/N still keeps his grunts quiet. As soon as all the kids let out their screams, he screams as well as he starts to remember something.

Flashback

There was a black haired boy wearing a black academy uniform with a black and yellow design to it. He was currently cradling a boy with blonde hair and green eyes, wearing the same clothes, but blue and white color scheme instead.

The blonde haired boy was currently bleeding out as the black haired boy was crying.

Black haired boy: Stop! Stop already! Why won't it work? Eugeo. Come back! Eugeo!

Eugeo: (grasps black haired boy's hand) Stay cool...Kirito.

Kirito: Eugeo! Hold on, I'll heal you right now, okay?

Eugeo: (weakly) It's fine. It's fine this way, Kirito. 

Kirito: What are you talking about? How is it fine?

Eugeo: If it didn't end up like this, you and I would've had to fight on behalf of our Alice. Me to get Alice's memories back, and you...to save Integrity Knight Alice's soul.

Kirito: (grits teeth) Then fight! After I've healed your wounds, fight me! You're stronger than me now! So...on your behalf of your Alice, fight me!

Eugeo: My sword is already broken. Not to mention, because I was weak, I turned my sword against you. I have to atone for that sin.

Kirito: (cries) What sin? You didn't commit any sin! You fought bravely the entire way! Without you, we never could've defeated Administrator! So there's no need to blame yourself, Eugeo!

Eugeo: You think so? I hope that's true. Kirito, I've always been envious of you. You were stronger than anyone, and loved by everyone. Who knows, maybe even Alive...loves you...(hands crystal) But I finally understand. Love isn't something you seek. It's something you give. Alice taught me that. So, look...don't cry, Kirito.

Kirito: Yeah, my memories are right here. They'll be here forever.

Eugeo: That's right. So you and I will be best friends forever. Where are you, Kirito? I can't see you.

Kirito: (brings Eugeo into a hug) I'm here. I'm right here.

Eugeo: Yeah. I see it...sparkling in the darkness, just like the stars. The stars in the sky I looked up at every night from the foot of the Gigas Cedar. They look like your sword when it shines. That's it. Your black sword...should be named the Night Sky Sword.

Kirito: (voice breaking) Yeah, that's a great name. Thanks, Eugeo.

Eugeo: This sorrowful world...envelop it as gently as the night sky.

Eugeo's body then starts to glow yellow, slowly turning into dust as his particles fly into the air. Kirito looks up into the air, watching the life resources of his best friend fade away.

Flashback End

Y/N brings his hand up to his eyes and wipes them. They were wet. Tears were falling.

Y/N: Eu...geo...

The black haired boy falls unconscious. The only sounds that heard were the screams of joy coming from the children.

With the ORC

The show had ended and Kiba was walking with the rest of the ORC before he too clutches his head in pain.

He only said one thing.

Kiba: Ki...rito...

Kiba falls unconcious as Issei runs to the blonde haired male, shaking him.

Earlier with Sinon

After leaving Y/N, Sinon was running down the halls, looking for someone.

When she rounded the corner, she saw Asuna.

Asuna: Hey, Sinon--

Sinon: Stacia.

Asuna: (stern look) We're not supposed--

Sinon: He's remembered his first memory.

Asuna: ...So it's time to notify the leaders?

Sinon: Yes. It's time.

They walked to where the Devil leaders were, changing their appearances as well, displaying holy energy around them. Sirzechs, Serafall, and Azazel were the only ones meeting in an enclosed space. They soon felt the holy energy coming towards them.

The doors open.

Azazel: Michael! What are you--

They stopped when seeing the figures in front of them.

Azazel: Is it time?

They nod and the other two Devil leaders were confused.

Serafall: Time? Time for what?

Azazel: ...The truth.

With the ORC

The ORC were currently in another room. Both Y/N and Kiba were lying in beds, unconscious.

Issei: Buchou...what happened to them?

Rias: I-I don't know.

Soon, the door opens to reveal Tsubaki and Sona.

Rias: Sona!

Sona: Rias, our peerages and ourselves were called to meet with the Devil kings.

Issei: Why, Student Council President?

Sona: I not know the reason, but we've been summoned. Come quickly.

They were getting ready to leave, but Irina was hesitant to do so. She didn't want to leave Y/N's side. However, Akeno reassures her and they left to meet with Sirzechs and the others.

They arrive at the meeting place and they see Asuna and Sinon, but wearing different outfits than their normal ones. Issei was having a nose bleed, but quickly stopped when he felt the angered stares from his harem.

Irina: Cousin? What is this?

Asuna: I'm afraid to tell you, but I am not your cousin. It was merely a cover up.

Rias: Then who are you?

Sinon: Allow us to reintroduce ourselves. I am Solus, the Sun Goddess.

Asuna: And I am Stacia, the Goddess of Creation.

Rias: Solus?

Issei: Stacia?

Sirzechs: You're probably wondering why you were called here.

Sona: Yes. Onee-sama, what is this about?

Azazel: ...What do you all know of the Star King?

Issei: Not much. From what you told us last night, he's a legendary king.

Rias: I read a little about him. A king who possessed great power and earned the hearts of the people, whether they were Devil, Angel, or Fallen Angel, he was beloved by many.

Sinon: Yes. He was a legendary king.

Issei: Okay? What does this have to with Y/N!? Not only that, Kiba fainted murmuring something about a name!

Asuna: What name?

Xenovia: I think he said "Kirito."

Sinon: (sigh) ...There are a lot of things we haven't told you all. Including our own friends.

Asia: You mean, you've been keeping them from Klein-san, Lisbeth, and everyone?

Asuna: The fact that we are goddesses? Yes. Back to our explanation, the Star King ruled the Human Empire of the Underworld.

Rias: Humans? There are no humans here in the Underworld.

Azazel: That's where you are mistaken. Did you ever run into a stone wall at the edges of each Devil domain?

Rias: Y-Yes.

Azazel: Over on the other side is the Human Empire, the main city being Centoria. There, the Star King had ruled the Human Empire for 200 hundred years. Until "she" and "he" came...

Issei: "He?"

Rias: "She?"

Azazel: Administrator and Emperor Vecta, or the Angel of Death.

Akeno: Emperor Vecta!?

Rias: I thought he was just a myth!?

Issei: What's so important about this "Vecta" guy?

Sinon: ...He was the dark god. Wanting and will do everything to see the souls of people. He devours them.

Asuna: The Star King's task was to defeat him, but...

Issei: But what?

Asuna: Upon defeating Administrator, Vecta never came. And so two-hundred years of peace had passed until that day.

Sinon: Yes. Vecta had come, but had somehow brought Administrator with him. The Star King and the Integrity Knights fought their hardest to defend their kingdom, but all was lost. Many lives were lost that day, including the Star King himself.

Asuna: But he wasn't gone forever. Why do you think we called Y/N the Star King?

Rias: Wait...

Irina begins to tear up as she put the pieces together.

Serafall: Yes. The great burden my son holds...

Issei: Y/N is...

Asuna: Y/N is the reincarnation of the Star King himself. Funny enough, he looks just like him. What were the odds?

Xenovia: But, Kiba was muttering about someone named Kirito. Who's that?

Asuna: Kirito is the Star King. Before he died, Kirito had made it so he'd return somehow.

Sinon: And Y/N collapsed onto the floor so he must be remembering things of who he used to be.

Sona: Nee-sama, why didn't you tell Y/N of this?

Serafall: Because he's not ready yet! I want him to live his life longer. I don't want him to throw his life away for a burden he hasn't known much yet...

Asuna: The feeling was mutual...

Sinon: While we don't like to keep things from our friends, we don't want them to know the bare truth and let that hurt them.

With Y/N

Y/N awoke on his bed after he collapsed and was unconscious. He looked around till he saw Kiba sleeping on the bed across from him.

He was about to call out until he heard a faint voice call out to him. He then started to see faint visions of the same blonde haired boy with green eyes, wearing an academy uniform, different from the previous memory he saw.

He had look to the Blue Rose Sword and touched it and all the memories started to come back to him.

Eugeo: If you're going to take a nap, do it after you're done with your sacred arts homework. Are you planning to copy mine again? 

Y/N lied in the bed, keeping the Blue Rose Sword to him. He wept as even more memories kept coming back to him.

Eugeo: Hey! I tweaked that skill you taught me the other day a little. Let's head to the training hall later. Hey, you snuck out again to buy some snacks, didn't you? Of course you got some for me, too, right?

Then the memory said it's last few words.

Eugeo: Come on, wake up, Kirito. ...Kirito.

Y/N: (cries) Dammit! Why...why did you have to leave...Eugeo...
