Remus's POV

I was reading a book by the fireplace when an owl flew in the window landing next to me. I took the letter that it had in its beak.The letter was from Dumbledore it said

Dear Remus Lupin,

I'm sorry to inform you but Lily and James Potter are dead. Peter Pettigrew's finger was found with twenty(is that the right number) dead muggles killed by Sirius Black. Rebecka Black has not been heard from for the last few weeks she is believed to have been killed by her husband.I am sorry to be the one to deliver the news but I thought that you would prefer that I tell you over the Daily Prophet.

P.S Harry is living with his relatives the Dursleys and I do not know about Tara because everyone is afraid to go to the house of Sirius Black.

After I finished reading the letter I was in shock for a couple of minutes. When I got over my shock I decide that I would go see if Tara was still alive or if Sirius was cold blooded enough to kill his daughter as well. I apparated to Sirius's and Rebecka's house to find the door broken. I walked in to what looked like a war zone eventually I got to Tara's room and found her in her crib. She looked just like her mother except that she had her father's hair.I picked her up and apparated home with her. I decided I would raise her like she was my own daughter the only problem figuring out what to do when it was that time of the month.I sat down with her a sleep in my arms when I thought of two options when it gets close to that time of the month( I feel like I'm referring to a period but then again that is what its like) I could ask the weaslys to take care of her or I could send her to her to her Andromeda. I decided to go with the later because she knows I'm a werewolf and won't ask why I want them to look after Tara once a month. I looked down at Tara and said "Well little one looks like your in for one very big adventure your going to have some difficulties growing up, but if you are anything like your mother or your father before he turned traitor then you be just fine."

~Time skip to Tara's 11th Birthday~

Tara's POV

Today was my eleventh birthday and I was celebrating it at  Aunt Andromeda's house Uncle Lupin was coming over in a little bit to pick me up and take me back to his place after the
celebrations were over. I was helping Tonks setup the table when there was a knock on the door "I'll Get it." said Tonks. I had finished setting up the last couple of dishes when someone picked me up from behind and spun me around. I shrieked with surprise then giggled with joy. After the culprit in question put me down I turned around with a smile on my face and asked "Uncle Lupin how was your time of the month?" Before replying he gave me a look that said really "It was just like the rest of them." "Hey Uncle Lupin do you know when my letter from Hogwarts will be arriving?" I asked him. Before he could reply an owl flew in the window with a letter in its talons. I rushed forward grabbed it and  read it aloud.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Ms. Black,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry . Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.Term begins on September 1st . We await your owl by no later than July 31st.

After I had finished reading the Letter I squealed like the little girl I was and said "Yes now I can grow up and be like my parents." Little did I know that Uncle Lupin along with everyone else in the room and a feeling of guilt in them. "Hey Uncle Lupin are you taking me school shopping or is someone else. "I'll take you tomorrow okay." he replied "OK" I said well spinning around with happiness.
