As the college is over i have to accompany my dad to Arterbery's Office for some business meeting so here I am getting ready, ping my notification went off

I entered in my dad's study

"Dad I am ready can we leave"

"I and Dark are going to Arterbery's Office"

My dad never loved her because she isn't worth of it my dad always loved my mom

"Why are you taking Dark he have holidays let him enjoy"

"Because Dark is the next heir and he needs to learn"

"Dad I think we should leave anyways Harry had went to site painting"

I interrupted before it became a whole fight

My dad nodded and we walked outside and sat in the car and the driver started the car

"Sir we are here"
The driver said

My dad nodded and we made our way to the company this is the first time I came here the building is huge and it must have 60 floors the interiors are fabulous you can say you are walking in the white house it's that expensive

"I had a appointment with Mr. Arterbery at 9AM"

The lady behind the desk smiled and said

"Mr. Mathew long time you may go to the meeting room 3 at 68th floor do you need any assistance"

I guess my dad came quite often here

He said and we made our way to elevator just as we were about to enter I caught a figure walking out of the Private elevator she is very fine lady I can say from the way she is walking and a sense of deja vu hit me like I had seen her before she had a mask and shades on just as she walked out the 4 men in black surrounded her and our lift closed

"Dad that lady must be Arterbery's princess"

I said looking at my dad he is still handsome

"Yeah she is I had never met her but I can tell you she is damn intelligent and imitating women when it comes to business and is a kind soul at her heart"

He said like he know her from years

"How do you know?"

I asked

"Rose is her name and she is a beautiful woman inside out I had seen her when she was a small girl you also sometimes used to play with her when she was 9 years old it all changed when her brothers got murdered less than a month before her 10th birthday and she became cold hearted but last project we did with Arterbery's was reviewed by her and I remember she did a damn good job"

I just nodded at his words Rose that name rang bells in my mind

The elevator opened and we walked in a beautiful hallway and knocked at the door and a male voice came saying come in

We entered and saw a man was setting table for 4

"Mr.Mathew nice to meet you again I presume this young man is your son"
Said the unknown man but I think I had seen him somewhere

"Mr. Matt nice to see you and yeah he is my older son- he gustered his hand towards me for an introduction- and this is Mr. Matt Mr. Arterbery's second assistant"

He nodded at me and we shook hands and exchanged the pleasantries just then the door opened revealing a Mr. Arterbery he is in this mid- forties looking handsome with 6'5 height and deep blue hazel eyes his eyes are something that may held you captive just like Rose's

What the hell is wrong with me why I am linking everything with Rose I think I need to stop

"Mr. Mathew I hope I didn't make you wait for long"
He said in a deep calm voice sending shivers down my spine

"No no Mr. Arterbery I just came meet my son Dark"

My dad said

"Hello young man nice to meet you"

He said looking at me with a perishing eyes but gave me a small smile when I introduced myself

"Nice to meet you Mr.Arterbery I am Dark Blake Mathew"

He nodded and gustered us to sit down we took our seats and dad began the discussion and Mr. Arterbery involved me sometimes

After 2 hours finally the meeting was over and dad and Mr. Arterbery had finalized the date for signing the contract on 6th October

"Mr. Mathew one last thing can I ask you for"
Mr.Arterbery asked my dad nodded

"I loved the ideas your son gave and as you told me you want your son to be a part of your business I want Dark to do this project with my daughter"
He said

"Mr.Arterbery I guess I like tour idea but if only my son agrees"
My dad said and I smiled

"Robert I would love to work on the project but there is a thing maybe your daughter won't find it nice and also I don't even know her"
I said

He smiled before saying

"You already know my daughter and I know you will be more than happy for doing the project with her anyways I give you time till the contract is signed I will tell my lawyers to make two if you agree or not"

He said and smiled but there is Mysterious evident in his eyes and he said that I know his daughter what it could be

Whatever don't stress yourself you have to meet Rose she will tell you

We shook our hands and then left the building

"Dad can you drop me by the Platinum's firing range"

He looked at me shocked

"What?why?"

"Umm. Actually My girlfriend is waiting for me there as she have practice today"
I said rubbing the back of my neck

"Who is your girlfriend and such a dangerous woman I mean is she a mafia princess or something"
He said

"Dad first of all she isn't a mafia princess I asked her the first time she took me there and secondly she said she just learn for self Defense"

He nodded but said

"Your girlfriend is unique I had seen people learn martial arts for self Defense but weapons I think I need to meet the world's most unique girl that captured your heart"

"Yeah why not I will bring her for dinner today but I hope Alicia don't do anything because my girlfriend is very cold hearted and not easy to please it's took me more than half month to capture her and still she didn't said those three magical words and she is quite much straightforward type she can cut your tongue with one single sarcastic response"

My dad had a amused expression

"She is definitely going to be your wife man if she is like that"

"C'mon dad she is very hard to pleas but is a damn beauty inside out"

He chucked and said

"I think she is the one and only"

The rest of the ride went by him teasing me to death

Yeah my dad must be a strict businessman but when it comes to me and my brother he will tease us for the silliest thing

We arrived and I got out and waved my dad a bye and quickly went inside

"Excuse me sir you can't go inside unless you are a member"

The man on the reception asked I was about to say when a voice came

"If I was at your place i won't have stopped him"

I turned around to see Rose giving a death glares to the man and he is shivering

He said with fear lacing this voice

"Yes me and I guess you stopped the wrong person don't ever stop my guest"

He nodded

"I am really very sorry sir this won't happen again"

I nodded and said

"It's Okay"

We both made our way inside

"Rose you don't have to do that to him"
I said

"What did I do"
She asked playing innocent

"The look on his face was like you made him pee in his pants  by the way that was very intimating"

"Oh just the art of intimation"

She said

I laughed

"By the way you are late my practice is almost done I guess we can leave I just have to take my things and we can leave"

"Sorry baby actually I was with dad we went to Arterbery's office"

At the mention of Arterbery's office her face paled a little but she covered it

"At what time"
She asked

"Umm. 9 AM we had a meeting"

She breathed and said

"Oh Okay great I will go and get my things"

I nodded and waited for her to come

Could it be that she is really the Arterbery's princess?

But that can't be possible right her last name is Parker?

But Rose is also Arterbery's daughter's name!

But there are many girls with the same name, right???

All these questions were running in my head when someone snapped their fingers in front my eyes

I nodded and made my way to the passenger seat and opened it for her she sat and I went to my side and drove off to the restaurant

Now we were walking on the roads of New York city and I was holding Rose's hand then suddenly I asked her

"Rose Mr. Arterbery said that I should work on the new project with his daughter what do you think"

She choked on her juice she was currently drinking I patted her back after sometime she turned to look at me and said

"And what did you say"

"I said I will think about it and he gave me time till 6th October as on that date contract will be signed"

She nodded and thought for a minute before saying

"You should do it I mean that's a great opportunity"

I looked at her shocked

"Won't you be jealous I mean I will be working with her for almost whole day and-

She cut me off by pecking my lips and said

"I don't think you will cheat on me or will you??"

"Of course not Rose I fucking love you"

Oh shit I spoke before I could even process and fuck me for screwing up every thing and she looked shock

"What I said I mean it Rose"
I said now that I can't take my words back I will face it

"Dark thank you I accept your feelings but I can't tell you mine before telling you everything about me please wait till 5th"

She pleaded with her eyes

"Of course but you have to do one thing"

"I will do tell me"

"Today I told my dad about you and he wants you to come for dinner or at least tea"

She smiled and said

"I think I will come for tea but do you think I look okay and what the hell you had told your dad about me"

Okay she have mood swings I can tell you she had more than a pregnant woman man if she became pregnant what will I do

C'mon you even didn't slept with her and already man?

My conscience mocked me fuck it

"I told nothing bad and you look like a goddess"

She smiled before pecking my lips

"Okay it's already six in evening we should leave"

I nodded and we sat in the car off to my mansion

Rose's P.O.V

We were standing at the porch of the mansion it's big but still smaller then mine we entered inside and the butler nodded at us and Dark took my hands and said

"Just wait in the living room my dad is in study I will go and get him"

I nodded and went in the living room was huge and was all white.

I sat there and a lady walked in dressed in an expansive red dress that was quite revealing and a face caked with makeup

"Who are you?"

Even her voice is like a bitch and high in pitch

"I am Rose Parker And who must be you"

"Alicia Mathew"

She said in a not-oh-so-friendly-tone I gave her a tight smile she was about to say something when two foot steps were heard we snapped our head towards the direction and I saw Dark with his older version stepping down the stairs

"Rose sorry to make you wait this is my dad Alexander Mathews"

Mr. Matthew looked at me in surprise and shock like he knew me

"Nice to meet you Mr. Matthew"

I said and he looked at Dark and said

"Dark do I look old"

He shook his head then his dad said

"Then why is your beautiful girlfriend is calling me Mr. Matthew you call me Alex or Alexandre"

I smiled and I was about to introduce myself when I heard a gasp I turned to see it Alicia

I ignored her and said

"I am Rose pleasure to meet you Alex"

He smiled but have a different emotion in his eyes and said

"So sweet Rose can I ask your last name"

I smiled and said

"Parker, Rose Parker"

He then pulled me in a hug and whispered

"I know you are Rose Arterbery my dear"

He pulled away and I was surprised and he nodded

"Have a seat Rose"

He smiled and sat in the armchair and gustered me to sit Dark sat beside me and his mom on the couch next to us

"I see you already meet Alicia"

Dark said and I nodded then said

"Please don't get me wrong I just wanna ask is Mrs. Mrs. Mathew is Dark's mom because she doesn't looks like"

Mr. Matthew and Dark both were shocked and Alicia was sending glare towards me

"I see you are quite observant and answer to your question is yes she isn't"

I nodded not speaking further

"So Rose tell me is it true you are Perfectionist"

Alex asked and I glared at Dark and he smiled innocently

"How do you know"

"Dark had saved your name as perfect Parker"

"Dark you will pay for this"

Alex laughed and then I said

"Yeah it's true I am a bit perfectionist"

He nodded and asked more

"So Dark also told me you have studied different subjects home and have different degrees is it true"

"Yeah it's true I had degree in law, business, accounts, economics, politics, Painting, shooting certificates I have, and many more"

"I see you do push yourself a lot"

"No it's just I want to be perfect in every field"

He nodded and then Alicia said

"So what your parents do"

"Business"
I stated simply

"So you are dating Dark for money"
Bitche I can tell

"I have more than enough money Mrs. Mathew I don't need to date guys for money unlike someone"

Dark and his dad was pure shock but didn't said anything

"Yeah Dark and his bad choices my Son Harry will date Arterbery's daughter"

"Mrs. Mathew I think you shouldn't set your hopes high because Arterbery's princess don't date for the profit"

"Oh my son is much better then a bitch like you stay with the bad"

She said making my blood boil I stood up and said in a very calm yet threatening voice

"Mrs. Mathew You. Will. Pay. For. Insulting. Me."

I emphasize every single wound turned to Dark and Alex

"Alex it was lovely meeting you but I guess someone don't appreciate my presence I think I should take my leave"

"I am sorry Rose for her behavior"

I smiled and walked out Dark came running behind

"I am so sorry Rose"

I smiled and said

"I am sorry for threatening her but I was angry"

He smiled and took me in the garden and made me sit on the bench and said

"You don't have to say sorry she deserves it that bitch"

I smiled and said

"I agree but why is she behaving like that and your mother were is she"

He tensed and sat beside me I spoke

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want"

He shook his head

"I want to tell you please listen to me till end"
I nodded for him to continue

"My dad and mom was always happy they love each other to bits and then she got pregnant with me but when she was 2 months pregnant Alicia dad's Ex came and spiked dad's drinks and got herself pregnant with my younger brother Harry and my dad hit a low blow but he can't neglect harry and he take harry from Alicia and my mother loved him too as much as me but then when I was six my mom had a car accident she died on the spot and Alicia came to dad after two months and proposed him and blackmailed him to marry so my dad have to marry her since then she is living here that gold digger but dad still loves my mom and made Alicia stay in the west wing of our Mansion were dad always stays in the east wing were my mom's room was and I and Harry love each other he never loved his mom but cared for her because she gave birth to him he is my little brother"

I was shocked I had never seen Alex taking her wife to galas, parties and all the meetings now that's what it was

"It's Okay Dark she si a bitch and it's okay I am with you and I am so sorry for your loss and I won't say I understand because I have a loving mother but I know how it feels to lose your loved ones"

He looked up and hugged me burying his face in my neck I run my fingers through his hairs as I felt some tears on my neck

"It's Okay Dark I am always with you"

He looked up and smiled
