I stopped the car with a screech as the day came in front of my eyes again. I can never forget that day. If anyone had told me that she did it then, I loved her so much that I would have never believed but she killed him in front of my eyes and I couldn't do anything. I was standing there. I saw how my father begged her to not to shot him but she shot all the left three bullets right into his chest.

My hold on the steering tightens as I remember how beautiful our past was, till, she decided to take revenge. We never thought that the girl we had adopted will backstab us like this. We never thought the one whom my father saved from trespassing will be the reason for his end.

I got down from the car as her presence was suffocating me. I can't be with her. No! I loved her with all my heart. I, Soha, Mom, Dad, Uncle, Aunty everyone had loved her, gave her shelter but she bloody snatched everything from us and for what! Just for the money! Just for a small power!

I was taking deep breaths to calm myself because I need to be strong. Strong enough to destroy her!

"Mr. Malhotra! Have we reached?" she asked from the car itself.

"No! I—I just took a little break! Want to have a cup of tea?", I asked composing without turning towards her.

I didn't get the answer for a few seconds so turned towards her to find her busy on her mobile.

This girl and her damn attitude!

"I think you didn't hear me!", I said with sly smile hiding my pissed self behind it.

"I think I didn't answer you!", She told back moving her eyes from her mobile.

"Come on Black Queen! It's not that I'm taking you on some date! It's just a simple tea break which is much needed!", I told her as I opened her side of the car.

Not getting any response I argued myself to not to strangle her.

Ignorance and I don't get along.

I shrugged making my way towards the small shop at the side of the road.

If it would have been in our past days, I would have felt the best day of my life but not today. I thought that she'll come down after some time but not for once she showed up.

After having my refreshment, I went back to the car and saw her looking somewhere. As she saw me, she closed her eyes and leaned to her seat. I looked everywhere to find what was fascinating her too much that she was looking at so intensely but found nothing.

I started the car to our destination. In an hour, we reached the place. Knowing how this place affects her I purposely parked the car in front of the hut.

"We've reached!", I informed her and without waiting for her I came out of the car. She took her sweet time to come out. I keenly observed her as she looked at the hut then around it but didn't get the reaction which I had expected. It's liked she's here for the first time. So, I initiated observing her, "Nice hut! Isn't it? It can be the best place to hide out!"

She looked at me and rolled her eyes, "Mr. Malhotra where's the land and its owner?"

"He is coming in 2!", I answered with a tight smile.

Nodding she was about to go to sit back in the car when I tried to stop her, "Why don't we look around?"

She did stop and I continue, "It'll good for our business!"

Nodding to me she made her way opposite of hut when I came in front of her.

"Let's start with the hut!"

I expected her to deny but she didn't. We went inside the hut and found it the same.

"You know I've heard that this place was a great place for--", she cut me off and continued, "for trespassing women! You're right!"

Raising my eyebrows, I looked at her, "How do you know?"

"The same way you know Mr. Malhotra?", she looked deeply into my eyes that for a second I remembered her face when we had saved her but ignoring her words I continued, "Sorry! I couldn't understand!"

"Newspaper and media!"

After that, we sat in silence with her sitting silently and doing something on her mobile and me observing her.

Our silence finally broke down when the landowner came and as I expected she was shocked to see the person standing there.

"Mr. Malhotra! I got your message that you're ready to buy the land and coming with your business partner. Sorry for being late!"

"It's okay! Here meet her! Miss Black Queen! My business partners!"

He forwarded his hand to her but she was so much in shock that she kept looking at him. I coughed and smiled awkwardly to him and said, "Why don't you show us the land?"

He nodded and moved forward and I was about to follow him when she called me by my name shocking me.
