Cheryl came running inside the house with Tim her husband. He was bit on the ear by an infected. She then rushed him upstairs to the bathroom and grabbed the first aide kit.
Cheryl grabbed the running alcohol and fixed his bit, "I should take you to the emergency room."
"No...listen, ever since those people disappeared from New Jersey, I sensed one of them would come here. Cheryl, I don't think I have much time left." He sensed something very bad was happening to him.
Cheryl looked at him concerned, "Tim, what are you saying?"
"I'm saying you need to take the boys and get out of here. Leave now while there's still time. I don't want to hurt you while I'm not in my right mind," he said.
Cheryl teared up, but believed she had to do what he said. She kissed him one last time and grabbed her sons and they packed.
"What about dad?" Harry the oldest asked.
"He can't come...you both can say goodbye, but we have to go." Cheryl said.
The boys hugged their father one last time as he hugged them back and they walked out to the car.
"Cheryl," she turned to him, "I'm sorry. And I always love you and the boys."
"It's alright...and I will always love you too." Cheryl then headed to the car. She locked the door and they drove out. The town seemed quiet until the doors of every building broke down and everyone running for their lives from the hungry corsps.
"Get down, boys, get down!" Cheryl yelled.
Harry grabbed his little brother Aussie and allayed on the floor of the car as she drove carefully and quickly out of the town.
Soon they got out of town and came to an abandoned town. Cheryl got out and check to see if there's any gas at the station. She was lucky. She then filled up the tank. She looked around as she filled it up. Luckily no one was around. Even those strange not-so-human creatures. She got it filled and got back inside the car. She then drove out the place.
"Mom?" Harry finally spoke, "where are we going?"
"I'm not sure," she said, "somewhere safe I hope."
Harry looked at her worriedly. He wasn't sure about this, how could they be sure if anywhere was safe?
