Dragon queen

~In a dream~

Aurora walks around in the woods of Mirkwood. Around her are small fires, dragon children fly around. Aurora smiles as one of the dragon children lands in front of her, bowing its head.
Dragon child: "Queen Aurora. The king of elves waits for you in the water garden." And with that, the young child flies off.

Aurora qukinen her pace. As she walks closer to the garden of water, she hears faint singing.
Young dragon singers: "She who walks in fire
Will strike down every master
Break the chains around us
And we will call out

Oh, our Silver Queen
Blood of Dragon
Khaleesi

You who set us free
Daenerys Stormborn
Dragon Queen

Oh Mhysa
Oh Mhysa
Oh Mhysa

Oh Mhysa
Oh Mhysa
Oh Mhysa

She who speaks for the voiceless
Will raise a sword injustice
She will rise like an Empress
Bring all Westeros to its knees

Oh our, Silver Queen
Blood of dragon
Khaleesi

You who set us free
Daenerys Stormborn
Dragon Queen

Mhysa
Oh Mhysa
Mhysa

Oh, our Silver Queen
Blood of Dragon
Khaleesi
You who set us free
Daenerys Stormborn
Dragon Queen

Oh, our Silver Queen
Blood of Dragon
Khaleesi

You who set us free
Daenerys Stormborn
Dragon Queen" the songs whisper in the background as Aurora approaches the elven king. Beside him stands Legolas. They are both draped in white linen.

Slowly they turn to face her. They gasp as they see her. Aurora tilts her head.
Aurora: "what's wrong, my elves?" Legolas then striders over to her. His hands move up to her face, which appears to my cover with scales.

Legolas: "The true dragon Queen. Welcome back, Daenerys Stormborn.
Aurora: " My name is not that, my name is Aurora." Legolas shakes his head softly.
Legolas: "You grew up with that name but the Valar thought of another name for you. That name is Daenerys Stormborn."

Legolas paused for a minute, then he walked over to his father again. Soon light emerged around Aurora, momentum blinding her. She then opened her eyes. Legolas and his father were no longer there. A lady in white clothing appeared in front of the young dragon.

Solaris: "Hello my daughter. I see that you have finally embraced yourself. You will not return to the land in which you have the quest. Call out to me if you need anything and I will be there." The lady disappeared in a cloud.

Aurora or should I say Daenerys sighed before closing her eyes again.
~end of dream~

Daenerys woke by someone shaking her.
Legolas: "Aurora!" Daenerys chuckle as she pushes the elf gently aside and sits up.
Daenerys: "Bo need to yell, my elven friend. I am alright. But I fear we will not last of that" as she said that, arrows predict the air and emblems themselves in the wall behind her.

The Fellowship runs out the chamber into a hall of pillars. The Fellowship is closely pursued by an army of Orcs. Other Orcs spring out from the floor or crawl, like spiders, from the ceiling, and down the pillars. They surround the Fellowship, who have drawn their weapons outward in a circle.

The Orcs snarl and leer. Daenerys let's put a growl, and to her surprise, the Orcs flee in all directions. She also notices A fiery light appears at the end of a hall. It is followed by a thunderous rumble. The Fellowship is left alone. The weary wizard stares down the hall.

Boromir: "What is this new devilry?"

Gandalf does not respond for a moment. He closes his eyes, concentrating. The rumble is heard again.

Gandalf opens his eyes.

Gandalf: "A Balrog — a demon of the ancient world."

The thing growls, still hidden around a corner of the vast hall, throwing fiery light on the pillars. Legolas's eyes show fear.
Daenerys: "This foe is beyond any of you... Run!"

The Fellowship runs to a small doorway. Gandalf shepherds them through.

Gandalf: "Quickly!"

He takes a last glance behind him and follows.

The Fellowship enters a passageway and goes down a flight of steps. The flight ends in a missing segment, and Boromir nearly falls but Legolas pulls him back.

His torch whirls away into the vast underworld beneath.

Aragorn: "Gandalf!"

Gandalf: "Lead them on, Aragorn! The bridge is near!" They look across a wide space to a long bridge spanning the gap between a hall and a cliff face. Away behind them, the Balrog roars again.

Aragorn moves towards Gandalf, but Gandalf pushes Aragorn roughly away from him.

Gandalf: "Do as I say!"
Hurt and confusion register on Aragorn's face.

Gandalf: "Swords are no more use here!"

[The Balrog roars again. The Fellowship descends a flight of massive stairs.]

The Fellowship encounters a gap in the stairs. Legolas leaps and lands on the other side. After him, jumps Daenerys and she lands gracefully on the other side too.

The Balrog rumbles again. Foundations splinter and crumble, sending huge rocks tumbling into the depths.

Legolas: "Gandalf."

Gandalf leaps after him.

Arrows whistle into the air from afar ledge, striking the stone steps. Legolas shoots back. His arrow rises through the air and pierces the skull of an Orc. The Orc tumbles down from his ledge.

Boromir: "Merry! Pippin! Hoo-aah!"

He leaps across the gap. Daenerys catches him and he steadies himself and the hobbits. An exchange of arrows follows from the stairs to the ledge.

Aragorn: "Sam."

He pitches Sam to the other side where the Hobbit is caught by Boromir.

Aragorn reaches to pick up Gimli.

Gimli: [holds up his hand] "Nobody tosses a dwarf."

He leaps forward but nearly falls back into the chasm. Legolas grabs his beard and pulls him up.

Gimli: "Not the beard!" Some of the stone steps crumble and fall. Aragorn pushes Frodo to safety. They climb to their feet and look at the now widened gap that separates them from the rest of the Fellowship.

Aragorn: "Steady. Hold on!"

The Balrog can be heard approaching from the other hall. Stone structures around the mine collapse as it draws near. A huge rock falls from the ceiling and smashes through the steps behind Aragorn and Frodo, creating another gap behind them. The stairs begin to wobble. Aragorn: "Hang on! Lean forward!"

Legolas: "Come on!"

[They shift their weight forward, tipping the stairs across the divide and slamming them onto the steps where their companions are.

Daenerys growls as the fiery head of the Balfrog is presented for her eyes. Her attention then returns to her companions. They leap across to safety. They run down the stairs as the stone structures collapse behind them.
———-
Around a great pillar in a fiery hall comes Gandalf, leading the Fellowship. A wall of flame whirls behind them.

Gandalf: "Over the bridge! Fly!"

[The Fellowship flees. Gandalf does not follow, but turns, looking into the wall of fire.]

A great form of black shadow leaps through the flames, its eyes of white fire, great ash-black horns curling around a bull-like head.

It opens its maw, rippling heat pouring out with a rumble. Gandalf turns, running after the Fellowship. A great, black, cloven foot stomps down into the hall, bursting into flame. A narrow bridge of stone appears in the fiery light, and the Fellowship crosses the bridge. Gandalf turns to face the Balrog.

Daenerys does the same. The Balrog growls at the dragon but backs away as she transforms. Black scales cover her body. Horns appear on the top of her head. Her eyes grow into slits, glinting in purple-blue. Wings stretch out from her back. She lands on four legs, which are draped in dragon scales. A tail slithers down and curls behind her. There she stands, fully transformed.

The great black dragon in all her glory. The Fellowship stares at the dragon in awe as it's lashing out at the Balrog, biting down in its neck. The Balrog gives a pained cry as the razor-sharp white teeth of the dragon price its flesh. "You can't pass!" Daenerys lifts her right claw and slashed the balrog over the face. The Balrog stumbles backward, the force of the mightier dragon pushes it on its back.

But soon it jumps up again, pouncing out for the black dragon. It flaming sword hits her side and she gasps in pain. The balrog then turns to Gandalf who stands on the bridge. The balrog stretches its wings and draws itself up to full height in front of Gandalf. But as it is about to reach down to draw its sword, a spear of purple flame pirce it through the back and right in the chest.

The Balrog gasp in agony and kneels on its knees. "Morgoth's creation, hear my cry! Let me fall through the case to end my suffering." The black dragon answers by giving the Balrog a track. the Bridge collapses and the Balrog falls into the chasm.

Gandalf grunts and turns to walk away. As he does so, the tail end of the balrog's whip snakes up and around his ankle, dragging him down. He clings onto the edge of the bridge. Frodo dashes towards him, but Boromir holds him back.Boromir: "No!"Frodo: "Gandalf!"

Daenerys roars as she cast herself after Gandalf, only to stop when she sees the wizard's gaze. "Fly you fools!" Gandalf lets go of the stone and falls into the chasm, spreading his arms, the light of the Balrog glimmering far below.

Frodo: "No!" Boromir grabs hold of Frodo and starts to leave up a flight of stairs.

Boromir: "Aragorn!"
Frodo: "No!"

For a moment Aragorn does not move, but then Orc arrows start whistling by once again, shooting at the companions.

Dodging them, he turns and follows the others up the stairs. The Fellowship exits Moria. Boromir tries to restrain Gimli as the Dwarf vents out his rage and sorrow.

Legolas wears a look of shock and disbelief; the immortal elf's eyes show puzzlement. Sam sits on the ground, bows his head onto his hands, and begins to weep.
Daenerys stands still, staring to the ground. She had transformed back to her elven form before they ran out of Moria.

She then looks up and see Frodo who stands alone upon the hillside. She walks over to him.
Daenerys: "Come here, Dilthen malthen echor. (Little golden ring)." As Daenerys said this, Frodo throws himself in her embrace. She wraps her arms around his small figure and whisper soft words.

Daenerys: "Let's get of this hill before the orcs come, okay?" She asks as she bends down to his hight. Frodo and her lock eyes and she kiss him gently on the forehead. She then picks him up in her arms and strides over to where the others are. She hear them bickering again.

"Give them a moment, for pity's sake!" Boromir says. Anger in his voice as well as sorrow.
"By nightfall these hills will be swarming with Orcs! We must reach the woods of Lothlórien." Aragorn retorted. "Come, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli, get them up."
——————————

Chortling, icy blue water gurgles across the dale. Aragorn runs up onto a rock. Framed against a deep blue sky, he looks past the mountains to the greengold woods beyond.

The Fellowship jogs across a grassy field, halting under the leaves of a forest of tall trees. Gimli: "Stay close, young Hobbits! They say that a great sorceress lives in these woods, an Elf-witch, of terrible power. All who look upon her, fall under her spell..."
Daenerys: "Tch, that's just a tale for dwarves to hold them away from the forest."

Galadriel: "Frodo...."
Frodo, startled, looks around. Gimli: "...and are never seen again."

Galadriel: "...Your coming to us..." [Frodo halts in his tracks: a pair of eyes flash through his head] "...is as the footsteps of doom. You bring great evil here, Ring-bearer!"

Sam: "Mister Frodo?"

Gimli: "Well, here is one Dwarf she won't ensnare so easily. I have the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox!"

An arrow, notched, appears before his face.

Gimli: "Oh..."

Other bows at the ready appear around the Fellowship.

Legolas has his own bow out. The Fellowship looks around, alarmed. A tall, golden-haired Elf appears.

Haldir: "The dwarf breathes so loud, we could have shot him in the dark."
Gimli: "Grrr..."
—————————

The Fellowship stands on a platform in the rustling foliage. Haldir greets them.
Haldir: "Mae govannen, Legolas Thranduilion." (Welcome Legolas, son of Thranduil.)

Legolas: "Govannas vîn gwennen le, Haldir o Lórien." (Our Fellowship stands in your debt, Haldir of Lórien.)

Haldir glances at Aragorn.

Haldir: "A, Aragorn in Dúnedain istannen le ammen." (Oh, Aragorn of the Dúnedain, you are known to us.)
Aragorn: "Haldir."

Haldir then sees Daenerys.
Haldir: "Who may you be, for I do not recall seeing you here before."
Daenerys: "I'm Daenerys Stormborn, sir. I have heard much about the elves of lothrien. I see you live up to expectations.." she glance around, her eyes landing on Haldir.
Daenerys: "Well, most of you."
Haldir nods. Gimli then speaks up.

Here's your outfit for now, btw:

Gimli: "So much for the legendary courtesy of the Elves! Speak words we can also understand!"

Haldir: "We have not had dealings with the Dwarves since the Dark Days."

Gimli: "And you know what this Dwarf says to that? Ishkhaqwi ai durugnul!" (I spit upon your grave!)
Aragorn: [grabs Gimli] "That was not so courteous."
Daenerys: "Indeed not, master dwarf. But what can you expect from them?"

Haldir glances at Frodo.
Haldir: "You bring great evil with you." [looking at Aragorn] "You can go no further." He walks away. Sam and Pippin turn to look at Frodo. He looks slightly uncomfortable.

Aragorn argues with Haldir, angrily.

Aragorn: "Boe ammen veriad lîn. Andelu i ven!" (We need your protection. The road is fell!)

Haldir whispers back inaudibly.

Aragorn: "Merin le telim." (I wish we may come with you.)

Haldir answers quietly, again so that only Aragorn can hear his words.

Aragorn: "Henio, aníron boe ammen i dulu lîn!" (Please, understand, we need your support!)

Legolas turns to look at Frodo, who looks uncomfortably away, and his eyes fall on Sam.
Daenerys is standing beside Legolas. She turns to look at Frodo, but instead of the looks the others have given him, she gives him a understanding look. One that knows exactly what's wrong and what he have to deal with. She then breaks their contact.

She then turns to Legolas, sending the elf small glances. Legolas notices this.
Legolas: "Why do you glance at me such? Something you wanna say?"
Daenerys: "Yes, Lai las plural lassi. (Green leaf) I wish that you will not be hard on Frodo." She lay her hand on Legolas's arm. He looks up at her, a confused look in his eyes.

Daenerys: "Don't think he do this with ease. I know you're a good elf, protect and help him the best an elf can. I will also do my help." With that, she walked away. Legolas cast Frodo a glance and looks at the ground again.

Aragorn continues to argue loudly with Haldir.]

Aragorn: "Andelu i ven." (The road is very dangerous.)

Boromir: "Gandalf's death was not in vain... nor would he have you give up hope."

Boromir: "You carry a heavy burden, Frodo... don't carry the weight of the dead."

Daenerys: "Boromir is right, Dilthen malthen echor (Little golden ring)." Daenerys then appears behind Frodo, a hand on his shoulder.

Frodo ponders this. Haldir appears, looking less than happy.

Haldir: "You will follow me." A caravan of Elves leads the Fellowship along a ridge, through the golden woods. Boromir glances at Frodo behind him. The group comes to the end of the high ridge and looks out. A great glade of trees rises above them.

Haldir: "Caras Galadhon... the heart of Elvendom on earth. Realm of the Lord Celeborn and of Galadriel, Lady of Light."

The Fellowship climb a winding way among the great trees. They ascend the path until night falls. In the blue glow of a moonlit night, the Fellowship climbs a twisting stair about the trunk of a tree, past glimmering lights of silver and blue. Far above, the silhouetted shapes of the shadowy tree-branches loom. Passing numerous platforms, they come to a great palace in the trees, lit with silvery lights. A curving walkway lies before them, leading up a low stair to an archway.

They gather before the arch as Haldir steps to one side. A glowing couple, hand in hand, descend to meet the Fellowship. The Fellowship stares in awe. Aragorn touches his head in greeting. Daenerys does the same.

Galadriel: "No need to bow, my child. You are of royal blood, more powerful than elves. It should be me who shall bow to you." Daenerys looked up at Lady Galadriel puzzled. The rest of the fellowship did the same.

Daenerys: "I'm afraid you're mistaken, Lady Galadriel. My mother was no queen, neither will I be. I come from the house of Valar.

Lady Galadriel smiled warmly at Daenerys, seeing that the young dragon did not know yet. She then turned to the rest of the fellowship.

Celeborn: "The Enemy knows you have entered here. What hope you had in secrecy is now gone."

Celeborn: "Eight there are here, yet then there were, set out from Rivendell. Tell me, where is Gandalf?" As he speaks, Galadriel's eyes flicker to Aragorn's, who looks up.
Celeborn: "For I much desire to speak with him... I can no longer see him from afar."

Galadriel: "Gandalf the Grey did not pass the borders of this land. He has fallen into shadow." Aragorn nods slightly. Celeborn turns to Galadriel.

Legolas: "He was taken by both Shadow and Flame: a Balrog of Morgoth. For we went needlessly into the net of Moria." Gimli bows his head, sadly.

Galadriel: "Needless were none of the deeds of Gandalf in life. We do not yet know his whole purpose." Galadriel: "Do not let the great emptiness of Khazad-dûm fill your heart, Gimli, son of Glóin."

The Dwarf looks up as her words.
Galadriel: "For the world has grown full of peril. And in all lands, love is now mingled with grief." Boromir turns his pained face to the Lady, blinking and swallowing hard. The Lady stares back. Boromir looks away, weeping. Celeborn: "What now becomes of this Fellowship? Without Gandalf, hope is lost."

Galadriel: "The quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail to the ruin of all."

Boromir looks back up at her, unsure.

Galadriel: "Yet hope remains while the company is true."

Galadriel looks at Sam and smiles.
Galadriel: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Go now and rest for you are weary with sorrow and much toil. Tonight you will sleep in peace."

She whispers to Frodo in his mind, casting her eyes sideways at him.
Galadriel: "Welcome, Frodo of the Shire... one who has seen the Eye!" Galadriel's eyes, the same ones that Frodo saw upon entering Lothlórien, flash through his mind again.
————————————————

Back on the ground, the Hobbits are settling down to rest. Elf song can be heard.]

Female Elf:

"A Olórin i yaresse
Mentaner i Numeherui
Tírien i Rómenóri"

(Olórin who once was
Sent by the Lords of the West
To guard the Lands of the East)

Other Elves:

"Melme nóren sina
núra ala
Eäro"

(Our love for this land
Is deeper than the deeps
Of the sea)

Legolas: "A lament for Gandalf."
Daenerys: "Indeed, Lai las plural lassi.(Green leaf) indeed. Aragorn sharpens his sword as Gimli sleeps beside him.

Merry: "What do they say about him?"

Legolas: "I have not the heart to tell you. For me the grief is still too near."

Elves:

"Maiaron i Oiosaila,
Manan elye etevanne
Nórie i malanelye?"

(Wisest of all Maiar,
What drove you to leave
That which you loved?)

"Ilfirin nairelma
ullume nucuvalme.
Nauva i nauva."

(Yet we will cast all away
Rather that submit.
What should be shall be.)

Sam crouches down to make his bed.

Sam (to Merry): "I bet they don't mention his fireworks. There should be a verse about them."

Sam stands up.

Sam: "The finest rockets ever seen,
They burst in stars of blue and green..."

Gimli snores loudly.

Or after thunder... silver showers..."

Aragorn turns, annoyed, and swats the Dwarf's pillow, eliciting a grunt from Gimli.

Sam: "Came falling like a... rain of flowers..."He squats down again.]

Sam: "Oh, that doesn't do them justice by a long road."
Daenerys: "At least you tired, and that counts."
Pippin: "Can you try then?"
Merry: "yea come on!"

-your POV-
The rest of the fellowship sat closer to me. The hobbits curled around my waist. The others where sitting on small soft beds. I chuckled and started singing.

[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]

"Well, you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go
Staring at the bottom of your glass
Hoping one day you'll make a dream last
But dreams come slow, and they go so fast
You see her when you close your eyes
Maybe one day, you'll understand why
Everything you touch surely dies
But you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
Staring at the ceiling in the dark
Same old empty feeling in your heart
'Cause love comes slow, and it goes so fast
Well, you see her when you fall asleep
But never to touch and never to keep
'Cause you loved her too much, and you dived too deep
Well, you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go
Oh, oh, mm, oh
And you let her go
Oh, oh, uh, uh
Well, you let her go
'Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
'Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go"

I ended the song and felt a small weight on my waist. I looked down and was met by the sight of Pippin and Merry sleeping comfortably with their heads against my torso. I smiled and laid to comfy position.
