(??? POV)

My head hurts, it hurts real bad, and the pain made me wake up, and I found myself in a little room, with a weird yellow window in front of me. Where am I? I got up and attempted to press my hands against the window, only to find out that it wasn't glass at all. My hands went straight through, and little yellow lines moved up my arms, and what felt like my face, followed by a slight shock. It didn't hurt, just felt weird.

I'm not sure where I am, everything's all metal, and there's other rooms like the one I was in. Then, I heard singing, from some other room. Following the sound, I soon came across a crying girl with red skin, who felt...familiar.

(???)"Great! This is just fan-freaking-tastic! I just knew one of these days Homeworld would come back to finish us all off!"

(Me)"Uh...hello?"

(???)"Steven?! How'd you get out?!"

(Me)"Steven? ...Who's Steven?"

(???)"Hu-What are you mean?! You're name's Steven Universe!"

(Me)"Sorry, but I don't really know who I am. Who are you?"

(Ruby)"Oh, come on! I'm Ruby, can't you remember that?!"

(Me)"Uh....nope, not ringin' a bell."

(Ruby)"Oh no...don't tell me that he...th-that's not important right now! How did you escape?!"

(Me)"I just walked through the weird glass, like this."

(Ruby)"Wait, do-"

She stopped herself from warning me as I stood in the middle of the odd window thing, and that weird shock came back.

(Me)"I-It's pretty easy!"

(Ruby)"What the...?"

I could now hear that song again, as if it's telling me to find the source.

(Me)"There it is again."

(Ruby)"It's Sapphire! Quick, we have to find her!"

(Me)"Uh, ok!"

Sliding through the gap I made, "Ruby" ran ahead of me to wherever "Sapphire" was. There were these scary metal people passing by every hallway, and we both hid each time we saw them.

(Ruby)"C'mon, where are you...Sapphire!"

On the end of the last corridor, a tall gray guy wearing a white cape was looking into another small cell, with a person with blue skin singing. So that's who Sapphire must be.

(???)"Will you shut the hell up already!? Urgh, I ought to shatter you myself, but I'll let Black Diamond have that satisfaction. *To himself while leaving* Crystal Gems, annoying 'till the end..."

As soon as he was out of sight, me and Ruby got her out of the cell.

(Sapphire)"Ruby!"

(Ruby)"Did they hurt you?"

(Sapphire)"No, no, I'm okay. Did they hurt you?

(Ruby)"Who cares!? *Starts tearing up*"

(Sapphire)"I do!"

Sapphire kissed Ruby's forehead, and the two hugged while spinning around. And with a bright light, they where...gone? Ruby and Sapphire were nowhere to be found, but now there was a new, taller person with three eyes. (Not shown in the picture below.)

(???)"Steven! Thank you!"

There's that name again, guess that's who I am.

(Steven)"Uh, yeah. No problem!"

"What?! She's gone! Rose escaped?!"

That sounds like the gray guy, he must not like whoever this person is. I think he's coming back.

(???)"It's him. Steven, find the others and get to the control bridge."

(Steven)"Sure, but I don't know who or what I'm looking for.

She kissed my forehead, and I suddenly got these...visions, of me finding a person with multi-colored hair, one with purple skin, one who also had blue skin like Sapphire, and a scary-looking clown.

(Steven)"Wow, what was that?"

(???)"I'll explain later, hurry up and save them!"

Doing as she said, I ran off in the opposite direction.

(No POV)

SE ran into the cell block, only to find that fusion again, but with a different style.

(SE)"Oh, how grand?! You two are out, and you've fused again! What's the point? I beat you in that form without trying! I've got all the data I need on you, so I know exactly what you are."

(Garnet)"...Hehehe..."

(SE)"What's so funny?"

(Garnet)"...No, you haven't."

The Scouting Eye attempted to jab Garnet with his electric touch, but the fusion effortlessly dodged and clocked him the face, reminding him of that infuriating day. SE then went for a kick, only for her to jump off it, and backflip kick the bot in the face once again.

Angered by this, he chased the fusion down the halls, firing plasma orbs in her directions, followed by her jumping over them. Now in a more open area of the ship, dozens of B1 Droids halted her escape.

(SE)"Don't just stand there, shoot her!"

(B1)"R-Roger-Roger!"

The machines opened fire upon Garnet, as she summoned her gauntlets, and proceeded to crush them and throw the scrap metal at SE.

Meanwhile, Steven had found and released the other Gems, and were all tearing their way to the ships controls, which wasn't too hard in destroying each Droid in the room.

(Bismuth)"Ok. Time to turn this thing around!"

(Amethyst)"Do you even know how to fly it?"

(Bismuth)"Not really, but the controls look similar to the ones on Gem ships."

She pressed several buttons on the screen, turning the lights on and off, activating and deactivating cannons, launching escape pods, and...turning on the windshield wipers? Finally, she was able to get the massive ship to turn back to Earth.

Back to the fight, SE now had some dents and scratches on his body.

(SE)"This can't be happening! It's like she got stronger than last time somehow! I can't let her make a fool out of me!"

Furiously,  he spun his entire body like a top in an attempt to knock Garnet right out of her fusion. SE schased her around the room in a complete circle, then jumped in the middle and fired a massive energy ball on the Gem. The floor collapsed from the impact, and the two were now in the main engine room. Garnet now had some scratches, and her visor had a crack and a chip, but she was far from tired.

The two got into a fist fight, with Garnet on the winning side. Seeing an opening, she slammed her gauntlets into the Scouting Eye's temples, popping off the black done covering his glass one. In a fit of rage, he electrified both hands and grabbed her by the neck. By some miracle, she was able to withstand the shock, pushing both arms away and tossing him directly into the massive engine, causing it to explode.

The fusion rushed to the bridge, which had warning lights flashing.

(Garnet)"The ship is going down!"

(Bismuth)"Think I haven't noticed?! We're about to crash!"

They were now in the planet's atmosphere, about to fall in the vast desert. As all the escape pods were launched, the two largest Gems grabbed the others and jumped out the window, and watched the ship come crashing down and bury most of itself in the sand.

(Lapis)"Wow...we actually made it!"

(Garnet)"Yes, but now we have another problem. Steven doesn't remember who he is, or who we are."

(Amethyst)"He's got amnesia?!"

(Bismuth)"How can we get his memory back?"

(Garnet)"Not sure yet, but I'm sure it'll return in ti-"

(SE)"YOU!"

They looked back at the flaming remains of the ship, and saw something that looked like it came straight out of a horror movie. It was SE-2006, but heavily damaged, dragging himself towards the Crystal Gems.

(Garnet)"You're still functioning?!"

(SE)"You......You...!"

He attempted to fire one last plasma ball, but it immediately fizzled out. He was utterly spent. Garnet picked him up by the arm, about to punch his lights out once and for all.

(SE)"Go ahead, kill me! But just so you know, you'll have no chance of stopping the Cluster without me!"

(Garnet)"What? What are you on about?"

(SE)"You don't know? Of course not, it was made in secret during the war as a failsafe."

(Garnet)"Just what is this Cluster!?"

(SE)"Oh, just a few million Gem shards melted together in a big ball hundreds of miles in the Earth's crust, waiting to form in two months."

(Lapis)"What?!"

(Bismuth)"I knew Black Diamond hated the Earth, but he would go THAT far just to get rid of it?!?"

(SE)"There's still time to stop it, however. ST-4967 gave me all of it's current data, so you have two choices. You could let me live so that your planet can remain in one piece, or you could destroy me, so that my data can go straight to Homeworld, and Black Diamond will show up and grind each and every one of you into powder. So, what will it be...?"

Garnet weighed her options for a few moments, then removed her visor.

(Garnet)"Fine, we'll keep you around, but don't try anything."

(SE)"Do not worry, this body is too damaged to fight, and all of my energy is being used to keep it functioning."

(Amethyst)"Uh, guys? I just noticed, where's Hematite?"

(Bismuth)"Didn't he jump out with us?"

(Lapis)"I didn't see him. Steven, you did free Hematite, didn't you?"

(Steven)"Yeah, I remember."

(Amethyst)"Where'd he go??"

(Hematite's POV)

As soon as I could, I shifted to my slim form and ran off as fast as I could while everyone's vision was obscured by the sand. This isn't good, that scrap brain knows about the Cluster, and now the others are gonna try and get rid of it!

There's no more time, I have to get everything ready before Black arrives.
