The Inner Circle (and SE) sat around a large table in Eclipse Dreadnought, which now sits next to Black Diamond's palace as it has seen little to no use since it's construction.

(Emerald)"What do you think is so important Black Diamond has ordered us all here?"

(Hessonite)"I hope it's nothing too serious, he still hasn't arrived yet."

(SE)"I know what it is. (Slap Trap)"

(Jasper)"You do? Then why didn't you say anything?! We've been here for an hour!"

(SE)"I think it's best if you heard it from the man himself."

Just then, Black Diamond and his Pearl entered the conference room, and everyone immediately noticed that he was dragging some random Amethyst with his middle and index fingers sunk deep in her forehead, who had multiple bruises and cuts all over her body.

(Gems don't have blood, obviously, but it has been shown that they can have these types of injuries.)

(SE)"And here he is."

(Black)"...Hello, everyone."

He took his seat, still gripping the hopeless Amethyst.

(Black)"As you all know, I have a strong hatred for a certain Rose Quartz. And it has come to my attention, that she still roams the Earth, safe and sound..."

(Jasper)"Rose is alive!?"

(Ruby)"I knew she was too stubborn to give up! Even when you cracked her gem, she still rebels against the Authority's might!"

(Hessonite)"This shouldn't be possible, the Corrupting Light should've been enough to wipe the Crystal Gems out entirely!"

(Black)"Well we were wrong, weren't we?"

(A full question with nothing but "W" words.)

(Black)"Now I want to grind her into dust like the rest of you, but let's not let our anger control us."

Just as he said that, he slammed the Amethyst's face into the corner of the table, but not hard enough to poof her. She had no idea what was even happening, one moment she was minding her own business, the next she was having the life beaten out of her. This Amethyst heard from other Gems about how painful it was for Black to use his energy grain ability, but this was excruciating, she actually wanted to die it was so painful.

(Black)"I too felt that uncomfortable rage many times over due to this Quartz."

(Emerald)"What are we supposed to do then? She may be planning to ruin the Cluster Project!"

(SE)"ST-4967 has confirmed that the Crystal Gems do not yet know about the Cluster."

(Black)"And since I trust you with most of my troubles, SE, I want you to go to Earth and capture Rose, so that I can personally make sure she can't come back."

(SE)"It shall be done."

(Black)"And for the rest of you. If he should fail, we will all go at the same time."

(Hessonite)"My Diamond, wouldn't it be more efficient if we all arrived on the planet to begin with? Rose is our greatest enemy!"

(Emerald)"I have to agree, why leave it to chance?"

(Black)"Rose is stuck on Earth with limited Gem technology, while the Diamond Authority has done nothing but advanced for 5,000 years. Even if the entirety of the Crystal Gem's army weren't corrupted by my last attack, not even the primitive Light Cannons would be enough to drop a simple scouting ship."

(SE)"At this point, it wouldn't be fair to even call it a war. I would describe it simply as, pest control. With the discovery and recreation of the mighty Sky Forge, the solar system could be used as a Gem colony as planned before."

(Hessonite)"But Rose is unpredictable! I heard about the civil war, she built an army from the ground up and fought against everything you threw for centuries! Please consider-"

(Black)"My decision has been made and none of you will interfere!! If I even suspect one of you of being on Earth without my direct order..."

He held up the Amethyst, and her body was quickly withering away, until there was nothing left but her dull, lifeless gemstone.

(Black)"This will happen to each of you, slowly...do you understand?"

(Inner Circle)"Yes, my Diamond!"

(Black)"Good, then we're done here."

After he left, everyone was taken back at the situation before them.

(Hessonite)"Th-This isn't good. If we fail this, he'll kill us all..."

(Emerald)"I never thought he could get so...violent when he's this mad!"

(SE)"Wouldn't you be, Emerald? If someone you despised more than anything in the universe refused to stay gone, you would be furious as well. I've experienced that type of anger once, with that fusion."

(Hessonite)"How can you even have emotions, anyway?"

(SE)"I'm more than just a machine, Hessonite. Black Diamond made me without emotions from the beginning, but something changed me. The Earth itself."

(Hessonite)"What's that supposed to mean?"

(SE)"The planet Earth has some kind of invisible force, it can alter the minds of anyone and anything that stays on it for a certain period of time. At first, I was just an artificial intelligence, I never even knew anything besides the orders I was given, I wasn't, I think you would say, alive."

(SE)"But every time I was on that ball of mud, a little part of me became...sentient, I understood things on a deeper scale, I understood myself. It's not easy to explain, but if I was never on Earth, I wouldn't be speaking like this, I probably wouldn't even be here if I never became a self aware."

(Emerald)"That so?"

(SE)"Earth has, wether or not you want to admit it, affected all of Homeworld, the entire universe in fact. Because of the rebellion 6,000 years ago, we have spread our forces across uncharted galaxies. We've literally put out the lights of colossal gas giants."

(Jasper)"What are you saying?"

(SE)"I'm saying that if Black Diamond had never lost the war, we wouldn't have been this successful."

(Ruby)"So you're glad he was beaten by Rose Quartz!?"

(SE)"No, I'm simply stating that if a speeding vehicle never hits a brick wall, they'll never get brakes put in..."

(This was another short chapter, so to reach the 1,000 word point, I'll tell you about those regenerative Humans earlier.)

Appearance: A Human male with ashen gray skin, and the appearance of both Black Diamond's first and second forms.

Behavior: Idle until given an order. Ruthless in combat.

Abilities:

1: Increased Strength/Speed/Endurance

2: Regenerative Abilities

3: Elastic Skin/Bone Manipulation

4: Razor Sharp Teeth

5: Can use the Warp Systems despite not being a Gem

6: Can survive in the vacuum of space.

7: Does not require food or water to survive.

The only way to truly kill it, is to incinerate every part of the brain. If even a small piece of it remains, it'll fully regenerate within minutes.

(That's all I can think of for now. Finally getting some real action next chapter.)
