1,000 years...it's been 1,000...damn years! It would've been over a long time ago if it wasn't for Rose healing Gems. And what's worse, they managed to destroy the Emerald who left the Emerald Armada! She had many others below her, one of them will just have to take her place.

This is it...I'll go down there and finish it!

(Black)"SE, you're with me. We're going to find Rose Quartz, and end this war!"

(SE-2006)"At once. Rose Quartz is located in the zone called 'Korea'."

(Black)"We'll take the Legs down there. Pearl, give me my sword and send a message to Yellow and Blue."

(Pearl)"Why them?"

(Black)"If anything goes wrong, we'll have to resort to Plan B."

I took the sword and took the leg ship down to Earth. There was utter chaos all around me. Along with Gems Humans with plated armor fought with swords and spears. Some fought upon tall creatures called 'Horses'.

One of these Humans caught sight of me, and Drew his sword.

He spoke a language I haven't fully learned yet, but I could make out what he was yelling.

(Human)"You will not take this planet! We will fight until the end of days if we need to!"

He ran at me, intending to stab me. I easily grabbed the blade, keeping him from moving it.

(Human)"Wh-What the?!"

(Black)"You're wasting my time."

I flung him in the air, much to his surprise.

(Black)"You can have your weapon back."

I threw the sword straight for his chest. When he hot the ground, it had struck his heart, an organ needed to pump blood in organic bodies, which carries oxygen. Organics can take things like stab wounds better than Gems, but require so much to stay alive, it means nothing.

It didn't take too long for us to locate Rose. She, along with a Garnet, were atop a hill, fighting a group of Quartz soldiers.

I recognized her from the 2 gemstones on her hands. She was the Ruby and Sapphire who defected all those years ago. They managed to 'perfect' their fused body. Cross-Fusions...I didn't think it could infuriate me this much.

(Black)"ROSE QUARTZ!!!"

After dispatching the Quartzes, she looked at me, like she knew this would happen, most likely a prediction from the Sapphire.

(Black)"Here I am! The war ends with one last battle! If you win, I'll forget about this planet! But if I win, you'll call off your armies, and surrender! What say you?"

(Rose)".........Black Diamond, I accept your challenge!"

She jumped off the hill, and unsheathed her blade, placing the scabbard on the ground.

(Rose Quartz)"Let us see who the better Gem is!"

I then brought out my own sword.

(Black)"I was always better than you!"

I stuck the scabbard in the ground, and mad the first move.

Our swords clashed, then Rose went on the offensive. Sparks flew in all directions, some setting small fires. I went for a few stabs, and Rose summoned her true weapon.

She used this shield to push me back, then go for a downward strike. Rolling to left, I sprang to my feet and swept her's from the ground.

(Black)"There's a reason why Diamonds are the proper rulers. We are perfect, in every way possible! Speed, strength, agility, intelligence, durability, all of it!"

(Rose Quartz)"Nothing is perfect, not even you!"

(Black)"Either way, I will still prevail!"

I went to punch her gemstone, but she created a pink or around her body. Once it disappeared, I tired my luck with my cables. I managed to get a hold of her, and slam the Quartz into a wall.

(Black)"You should've remained in you place, Rose! You could've been a part of so much! Maybe even a part of my Inner Circl-!"

Several vines suddenly wrapped around me. She must've set up a trap before I arrived!

(Rose Quartz)"I would never kill such beautiful forms of life!"

The vines weren't strong enough, however. I broke free and pursued Rose Quartz, who was running back up the hill.

(Black)"You're not getting away this time, Quartz!"

At this point, most of the rebels around us were taken care of, and a few of my Gems are now watching the duel, one of them being that Ruby SE told me about. Rose ran at me, and summoned her protective orb with spikes, crushing me against the wall.

(Rose Quartz)"Any Gem can be beaten, even a Diamond!"

I felt some energy form around my left hand, like electricity. It suddenly formed into a solid purple blade.

(Omega)"Much like Goku Black's energy blade from Dragon Ball Super."

I used this new ability to easily break the orb pinning me.

(Black)"It seems like I've unlocked a new power, which is similar to that clown from before..."

This blade was much more powerful than any material weapon. So much so, that I could now instantly destroy Rose's shield and orb the second she summoned them. I had her on the ropes. She was on the ground, dazed.

(Black)"It ends here! With your death, all of Homeworld will sing on this day of the Quartz who tried to play leade-!"

I was just inches away from ending the war. I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. Looking down, it was the pink blade.

Rose was definitely faster than others.

(Rose Quartz)"It's over...the Crystal Gems have won!"

I felt terrible, like I would blow up from the inside. At any moment, I would retreat to my gemstone, and be placed in a bubble...no. I wasn't going to give up!

(Black)"N-No! Not yet!"

I pushed her back, ripped the sword out and threw it. I stumbled towards the Gem, trying to keep !y body stable. My body started to turn all white and expanded in split second intervals.

(Rose Quartz)"How are you still going?"

(Black)"I...am Black Diamond! I have 957 colonies in my name, you will not make a fool out of me!"

The feeling got worse, as I dropped to my knees. I felt light-headed, and one of my eyes refused to open.

(Black)"No! Stand...WALK! You will not let her win!!"

I used the material sword to prop myself up, using it as a makeshift cane.

(Rose Quartz)"You can't keep up with this, just give up! You're hurting yourself!"

(Black)"Oh please, don't...g-give me your pity!"

It got so bad, my left arm was now solid white.

(Rose Quartz)"I-I could help you! Just let me-"

She walked over to me, and as she held her hand out to my gemstone, I dropped the sword and punched her stomach, right in hers. She fell back, glitching like mad. Her gemstone had cracked, and her left arm stretched out and was held together by a thin string.

(Black)"I, Black Diamond, have won this duel! Say goodbye!"

I wasn't going to waste time, as I got my material sword, ready to strike her gemstone. To my surprise, she took her useless arm and threw it with great speed. It struck my nose, and launched me off the hill.

(SE-2006)"Black Diamond, are you alright? I will dispose of rose."

He raised his arm, and charged an energy ball. The 'Garnet' summoned a pair of gauntlets and punched him so hard in the face, the part where his mouth would be was broken off, causing sparks to fly everywhere. For the first time since his construction, he had finally raised his voice.

(SE-2006)"You......you miserable excuse for a Gem!!!"

All 10 of his fingers electrified and struck Garnet, destabilizing her.

(SE-2006)"Black, we need to leave now!"

(Black)"Take me back to the ship..."

My legs were all white, and refused to move. He had to carry me back to the ship, and had to fly it himself. In space, Yellow and Blue were in the Eclipse Dreadnought, for it was big enough for the other 3 Diamonds.

(Blue)"Black! What happened to you!?"

(Black)"Rose happened...one second."

I gestured to a Nephrite to make contact with all Homeworld Gems on the planet.

(Black)"Attention to all Homeworld Gems! Evacuate through any means necessary, Earth is no longer a suitable colony!"

(Black)"Yellow...Blue......come with me outside."

(Yellow)"What for?"

(Black)"We are going to end this war..."

Being carried by SE, my sisters and I went to the front of the ship, looking at the Earth below.

(Black)"Sisters...give me your strength."

We each held our hands out towards the planet, as an aura surrounded us.

(Black)"If Rose wants the Earth...she can have it, BUT AS A BEAST!"

We fired a beam of light at the planet, consuming it in a combination of color. It was over...I was done here. We went back to the ship, I was utterly exhausted.

(Black)"SE...tell me what happened..."

(SE-2006)"The Earth was completely enveloped with the Corrupting Light."

My body was visibly shaking.

(Black)"H...How many Gems escaped...?"

(SE-2006)"Over 75% of our soldiers were able to get away before the attack."

(Black)"......Good..."

That's all I could say, as my body fell apart, and it all...
