Peter Pan.
Would you run away with me?
To an island, no one else can see?
Cause its invisible, but not to you and me.
Some people call it NeverLand, but they don't believe.
If they would just believe, they would be able to see.
They think its just a fairytale, told by parents to their kids at night.
Some of the kids don't believe it, but some of them might.
So I knock on their window, my shadow close behind.
I can never run from him, we are connected at the spine.
You open the window, there I sit.
Brown hair and shoes, eyes like a Christmas tree, lit.
My ways are slick, my friends are fairies.
We laugh around, we are so marry!
I'm very clever, do you know who I am?
You guessed right, I'm Peter Pan!
Come with me, I'll help you escape.
Don't be afraid, I never gape.
Where I'll take you, you'll never have to grow up!
But if you do, it'll make you wanna throw up.
Come with me, and then you'll see...
Off to NeverLand, you and me!
_AUTHORSNOTE_
I know all the poetry in this book has been really dark and sad, so here's a happy one about my favorite story book; Peter Pan! Hope you enjoy, and that it brightens your day!
