Blake POV

"He's late." I said in annoyance, "Hey sorry I'm late, I got caught up with work." (y/n) said, "It's fine, it's just two hours that I'll never get back." I said, "Hey I said I was sorry." He said.

"So what were you working on?" I asked, "Oh nothing really just some robbery gone wrong, I actually already solved it, I'm just killing time till it becomes painfully obvious to Angel and the others." (y/n) said calmly, "Who did it?" I asked, "Excuse me?" He said, "Who did it, if you already solved it you can tell me." I said, "It was the cashier, she wasn't content with her banal job, so she organized a little side gig. She decided to rob her own place of employment, whether it was out of spite or what, but she didn't count on her boss working late and she ended up killing him." He said, "How long did it take for you to solve this?" I asked, "About twenty, thirty minutes tops." He said as we walked to a cafe.

"Here you are, one iced coffee, and one vanilla cappuccino." Our waitress said as she handed us our drinks, "Thanks." I said, I lifted my cup and saw that she had left me her number, "How do you do it?" Blake asked, "Do what?" I asked, "That, no matter where you go you always get the girl." She said, "Not always. I mean when I met you, you tried to kill me." I said, "I said I was sorry!" She said, "Yeah and now I work for you I think were even." I said, "No you work with me." She said as she took a sip of her iced coffee, "Same thing. Oh by the what what's you kill count?" I asked, "One." She said, "Adam Taurus right?" I asked, "Yeah." She said, "Well mine's seven. And before you ask they all deserved far worse, I let them off easy." I said, "What did they do?" She asked, "Maybe I'll tell ya sometime, but not right now." I said.

"So now what are we gonna do?" Blake asked, "Well I was thinking..." I began to say, "BLAKE!" A blonde woman with a robotic arm yelled as she ran over to us, "Y...Yang?!" Blake said in shock, "Blake where have you been? We've missed you so much!" Yang said, "I...I've been busy with work." Blake said, "Oh I bet and what this guy's your boss or something." Yang said as she elbowed me, "Or something, I'm a cop." I said, "Oh crap!" She said, "What?" I asked, "She has a few fines for property damage that she never paid." Blake said, "Oh, well then good thing I don't care." I said, "Wait what?" Yang asked, "Your a huntress right? What's a little property damage if you did it to save lives right." I said, "Blake I like your new boyfriend." She said, "W...What?! He's not my boyfriend!" Blake said, "Oh then why are you blushing?" Yang asked, "SHUT UP!" Blake said as she turned away.
