They woke up and went straight to the police. The police were dismissive, as she had expected. Nobody died, nothing was stolen, it was just a few insignificant items. They asked her if she was sure the flower wasn't the one she left there and she said she didn't remember. They were certain she had left the bra somewhere and simply didn't remember. She stated emphatically that it had already appeared right on top of all the clothes in a drawer. She informed the officer that she had searched all the drawers and could find no trace of him. So, it's clear that whoever took it off also put it on. The police were wrong. There was no evidence, and it was a waste of time to say otherwise.

They didn't say anything back. Flavia had to go to work, just like Raúl. Later they would talk.

- So, we can't count on the police... we have to think of a plan. We have to place cameras in strategic and inconspicuous places... possibly a recorder...

They spent the rest of the night planning the best way to handle the matter.
