Appearance

Mathias has short, dark colored hair and beard, with dark eyes. His skin is of a fair color with a hint of tanning. With a lithe body, more of a somewhat angular face and high cheekbones. He has a rather well trained body, muscled from years of fighting and training, and scars adorning said body. Though he stands a bit on the shorter side in height compared to many, being no higher then around 5'7.

Personality

Mathias is a calm and collected individual, usually being casual and almost carefree in his adventures yet can come of as serious at times as well, but can come up with a sarcastic or snarky remark when he feels like it. But even so he is surprisingly wise, often observing and giving advise when asked of. He is a curious man, which is part of why he became an adventurer in the first place, which often leads him into more trouble then he was looking for in the first place. But he has shown genuine care and love to those he deems close, such as those he calls friends or family.

But even so, Mathias is cold and calculating underneath, ruthless in a fight, never giving his opponents any room to breath and never letting his guard down. This persona is usually seen when he fights strong opponents where he actually has to try to fight for his life.

Weapon

Mathias is well trained in the different arts of combat, from swordsmanship to archery, which are his two most preffered weapons, along with a dagger.

Brightstar

A sword given to him as a gift when he was still a boy starting his travels by the Tyerlls themselves, created with the finet steel and firged by the best blacksmith the Highgardens could find.

Fang

A dagger, he got from a thug in Essos, who had tried to kill him, after which Mathias has never been seen without it.

Armor/Outfits

Mathias usually wears what he feels like is the best for certain situations, so he has a tendecy to change up his style of armor.

His commoner clothes, usualy worn when he wishes to not be seen or to blend in, or if he simply wishes to relax.

What he usualy wears when under the service of a lord or a House, more "civilized" clothing to look the part of a knight in a House

He can bee seen wearing a mix of cloth and leather, his usual attire when not in combat or wishes to blend in with the crowds.

His armor

His armor for more large scale battles, along with the fact he uses this armor set for tourneys and such. Made from a bronze like material for the chest piece, along with bronze armguards. Along with some scalemail and other metals. The most eyecatching part of the armor however is the helmet, made from a dark and red steel, covering the entire head and face with only a thin, horizontal slit for the eyes to see through

He also has another set of armor, more fit for the more "traditional" knight style

Powers

Prolonged life- Do to his hetiage as a Druid, the magic both within and around him helps prolong his life span, while he is not ageless or immortal, Mathias will be able to live quite a few years beyond a normal mortal's lifespan.

As a Druid, Mathias has access to supernatural abilites that most humans doesn't have, able to utulise magic to his advantage, along with having a connection to the nature around him most would only connect with the famed Children of The Forest.

His magic, like nature is elemental, alowing him to manipulate and draw power of air, fire, earth and water in different ways. However, magic is unpredicteble and unsafe if not treated right, thus he rarerly uses it, both for the safety of others and himself.

Through this connection to magic and nature, Mathias has a sort of sixth sense, which often take form in visions and dreams, and sometimes even mild thought reading (which is more like he can sense the emotions of the target)

He is speculated to have more abilites, but is not willing to share a lot with even those he deems close. All he says is that "all magic has a price" which is one of the reasons he doesn't reavel all his powers.

Extra

Can speak Valyrian, both High and Bastard versions, as well as Dothraki.

Is well versed in the use of herbs and "alchemy" of mixing ingredients, thus he is often able to make his own medicine and such through the use of natural resorces, and right connections of course.

Backstory

Mathias was born in a small village deep within the western territories of the Reach, born to a mother and father who was farmers. However what not many people know, do to the fear of anything unnatural, Mathias was a born Druid, a being who was able to use supernatural powers (aka magic) to a certain limit, along with having a unique connection to the nature around him.

As he grew up, Mathias learned what he could from his mother, with the few texts and books she kept, as well as working the farm when he had to. But as he grew older, he like many boys wanted to go out and explore, earn experience and glory, so when he was forteen years old, he packed his bag and ventured forth with the blessing of his family.

Through these travels he gained all the experience that shaped him into the man he is today, even having won a tourney in Highgarden and gaining a knighthood by the Lord of House Tyrell himself. After which he continued with his journey, making a name for himself as he went from place to place.
