Aurelius is a calm and highly intelligent individual, always observing before making a calculating strike against those that oppose him. A ruthless individual who is as brutal as he is swift in a fight. Yet even all of this he shows a lot of cunning and etiquette that would imply someone from a high ranked family.

But even so, through the years he has shown to have a "healthy" amount of arrogance and confidence in his power and superior standing above those he deems as 'weak' or 'beneath' him.

But as he got older, he grew, becoming more cunning and cautious in his actions, often preferring to start off by working from the shadows while controlling people around him like pawns. Even so, he enjoys his new-found life and lives it to the fullest, using his silver tongue to get what he wants through both his/her natural charisma and Devil like seduction. Playful and eager to live his life as he pleases.

Appearance

He is seen as having a lithe but muscular body, trained to be both agile and quick in a battle. His skin is a fair if not slightly pale tone and standing at 6'2 in height, with usually well combed white silverish hair and unusual eyes, the sclera a dark black, while the iris a bloody red, and of fangs. With a well fit and muscled body, from years of fighting and harsh training. Many would describe him as unnaturally beautiful, even by Supernatural standards his very presence has been enough to make Fallen, Devils and anything between blush, from both genders.

Along with this, he has long and sharp fangs, along with claw like nails.

Made from a magical conducted fuse of silver ad steel, it is highly enchanted to be durable and sharp, able to be coated in a blue fire when poured enough magical mana into it, making it even more lethal against monsters and creatures of the night.

Backstory

Not much is known about Aurelius' early life, mostly because he isn't one to share a lot about himself with others unless he gains something from it. All that is known is that he is old, possibly one of the oldest "living" vampires today, and one of the most dangerous. 

Aurelius was born to a nobleman and lady in Hungary, back in the year 1374, in winter, the 16th of December. He grew up well, being educated in math, Latin, noble etiquette and other lessons from he was 7 years old. 

However, when he was 27 years old, he was forced into fighting in the Ottoman Empire's armies, and joined them in their wars further South in Italy. He was heavily injured, his fellow soldiers slaughtered, and he lay dying. He was filled with such rage and a will to continue living, that the very blood that spilled the dirt was attracted towards him, seeping towards him and into his very being. 

It was the day that Aurelius became a Vampire through sheer will, not through infection and being sired, and became a vampire of Pure blood.

(So in this "story/AU", one cam become a Vampire through three ways, being sired/infected, which is the most common way)

(Then you have the Pureblooded Vampires, which you can only become by being the child of two vampires, or as happened with Aurelius, by sheer will (and supernatual/magical means)

Other

To make a sort of "Safe Haven" for vampires and his followers, Aurelius created a large underground city, which he named Larnwick, where vampires could live safely, deep underground in massive caverns and cave systems.

But he also keeps a small town/village on the surface as well, to keep the cover of Larnwick, and do to this, many people misunderstand that the surface town is the place called Larnwick.

Before he became a Pureblooded Vampire, he appeared as any mortal, with brown hair and emerald green eyes (which he can transform into through glamours and shapeshifting, but it is not his true appearance anymore).

Through the years alive and ruling, Aurelius has collected a vast amount knowledge, lost and forgotten, all inside a library built beside and connected to Larnwick Castle, safeguarded and kept. A scholars dream is to walk these ancient halls filled with wisdom from ages long past. 

Enforcers/Followers

Among the soldiers and followers under Aurelius' rule, many mortal Thralls (slaves) are conscripted into the army his forces. Acting as the soldiers and guards of Larnwick (mostly the surface city) that patrols and both during day and night.

Among the vampires that Aurelius has either sired or allowed to join his coven, the "Custodi Sanguis" meaning "Blood Guard" are his main force of soldiers and enforcers. 

(Of course, there are other "Vampire Nobles" that serve as Aurelius' "Vassals" and "Bannermen", with their own Houses, clan names and such)

(As well as "Lower Vampires", who isn't really apart of the "Custodi Sanguis" or any of the other Vassals under Aurelius' rule, but still work for him as simple "followers" so to speak)

Sanguis Oracula/High Oracles

Vampire Magicians under Aurelius' rule, often called "Oracles", they are regarded as among the most dangerous of Aurelius' Enforcers, gifted and talented in the arcane arts as well as blood magic, they act as their name says, the Oracles and uses their gifts to see visions and prophecies for their Lord.
