Appearance

Aurelius was often called handsome in his day.With brown colored hair and almond shaped eyes. With fair, if slightly tanned skin. He carried facial features often acquainted with those born of noble birth, such as high cheekbones. He stood at a height of 5'5, and as such was not the tallest among men, but made up for it with a well trained and developed body, lithe and muscles defined from training.

Personality

Aurelius is a calm and confidant individual, usually seen as observant and even somewhat quite unless directly spoken to, always keeping his cool in any situation. He is also known to be highly charismatic, being able to make the masses follow him like a flock of lambs, to gain their trust and loyalty.

He is also philosophical to some extend, with his view on both tradition as well as "what makes a wizard a wizard" and will openly welcome any debate and discussion on the topic.

But even so, Aurelius is cold and calculating underneath, ruthless in a fight, never giving his opponents any room to breath and never letting his guard down. This persona is usually seen when he fights strong opponents where he actually has to try to fight for his life.

He is also rather well educated, and being from a noble Pureblooded family, most often gives off a regal and well composed aura.

Because of these, as well as the propaganda created against him by the Ministry and Wizengamot, he was most often seen as a cunning, ambitious dark wizard in the making, as well as the reason eh was given the mantle of "would-be Dark Lord"

Aurelius' wand is a... unique creation, made from Hazel wood, with the handle carved out almost dramatically, but form the design, as well as to the eye of veteran duelists, is carved to be best used for magical combat and duels. Along with a Dragon Heartstring, Aurelius' wand is practically destined to dominate.

Backstory

Aurelius was born as the heir of the Ancient and Noble House of Ordell, an old Pureblood family that hailed from Italy, whom established themselves in England several centuries ago.

When he was 11 years old, he got his letter of invitation to Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And over the years, he showed to be a great student with a vast amount of potential.

But one thing many noticed with the young noble, was his open dislike and lack of trust in the Muggleborn students, seeing as many of the old traditions and ways of Wizarding life was slowly but surely being taken away, to make the Muggleborns feel more welcome.

So when he graduated and was deemed an adult in the eyes of the Ministry, Aurelius tried to go about the diplomatic way, and got a job within the Ministry, and joined a political party that wanted to preserve the old ways, "Traditionalists" they were called.

However, when they didn't seemingly take their cause anywhere then arguments at a table, Aurelius decided to turn to more... drastic measures.

He started his own movement, and openly declared war on the Muggleborn and Ministry for their "betrayal" of their old and sacred ways.

The war lasted for only two years, but in that time, he earned a name for himself, many calling him the Dark Lord of the era. His movement spreading far and fast in a short amount of time, stretching across Europe like a wildfire.

Aurelius was killed at the height of the war, which made his movement, which went by the name "The White Serpent", disband and scatter to the wind....

And while many celebrated and mourned the dead, Aurelius soon enough woke up again, but as a ghost,a phantom of the past, trapped and caged to the grounds of Hogwarts for the rest of eternity.... until he can find a way to maybe return to the living....

Other

Do to the fact that Aurelius died before he could become the new Head of House Ordell, and the fact he never married or had children. House Odell slowly died out, with only a few distant relatives and descendant connected to the once great House.

Aurelius had a sister, who was married off to House Malfoy at some point, and as such, they are the closest living relatives of the House Ordell.

Aurelius' wand and mask was taken to Hogwarts soon after his death, and hidden within the Room of Requirements so it could do no more harm on the Wizarding World.

Aurelius doesn't "hate" muggles (and by extension, muggleborn and muggle-supporters) he just dislikes and distrusts them because of the fact that so many of them whines and complains about the "weird" traditions, so the Ministry strips away their old and sacred traditions to make them feel more welcome.

Surprisingly, Aurelius even had a few Muggleborn members of his movement, seeing as he welcomed anyone who supported their cause and had talent to help it.

Aurelius was written down as one of the most impactfull and remembered "revolutionists" in Wizarding history, but was described as a "Dark Lord" by most historians for his brutality and ruthlessness in war and tendency to use less "light sided" spells and curses in combat.

Aurelius, as a ghost, hides his identity from the students, with only the teachers knowing who he truly is.

Many of the Purebloods (mostly the "Elitists", but some of the "Light-side" families also) regard Aurelius is a Saint and true example of their society, seeing as he fought and died for their traditions and way of life.

Aurelius is in a unique situation, even compared to most ghosts, seeing as he appears as a normal "human", not see-through or pale like the other ghosts, and the fact he can walk on ground, and not fly/soar. But even so, he still has the same abilities, such as going through walls/solid objects, and turn invisible when wanted.

Style of Clothing

Before he was revived as a ghost, Aurelius usually wore robes and clothes befitting someone of his noble heritage

Battlemage Armor

Like his followers, Aurelius was, at the height of the war, mostly seen in a set of robes and armor befitting of his status and rank. Of reds, blacks and bronze, as well as a mask, both for intimidation against his enemies, as well as a symbol for his followers.

The White Serpent

The White Serpent (the Order), was known to wear crimson robes and enchanted armor for better protection, to give off the style and appearance of the legendary warlocks and battelmages of old. They were also known to utilize magically enchanted weapons along with their wands.
