Personality

Aurum is is a calm and collected individual, always serious and alert. He takes his responsibilities seriously and expect his men and comrades to do the same. He often come off as cold and uncaring of anything around him, other then his own desires and wishes.

Do to the his heritage as Dragonborn, Aurum can often come off as bored and indifferent to events around him, a result of the countless battles, and next to no defeats. As well as come off as casual yet arrogant and highly confidant in his abilities and prowess compared to most.

But as mentioned, do to his life experiences and influence from his Draconic heritage, he is also wrathful, arrogant, ruthless and cruel. So while he does enjoy a good fight and to find worthy opponents that could give him a challenge, he sees most beings as inferior to him, mongrels and sheep that doesn't know any better.

But even so, he is extremely intelligent and cunning, with a cool head on his shoulders. With a quick wit and a sharp tongue. Even through his arrogance and apparent lack of care for people, elves, men and anything between, he is often regarded as charismatic and holds a certain air of authority and regally that draws others towards him. 

Though to the few has deemed worthy of his trust and friendship, he is loyal and kind (in his own way. Usually when something (someone) catches his interest and curiosity. 

Appearance

Aurum's appearance is that of a handsome young man, with pale golden hair, fair, if slightly pale skin and golden eyes. He stands at a height of 5'8, with a body of well developed muscles from many battles and hard training. 

Along with this, he does have a few scars here and there, but they are usually covered up.

Armor/Gear

 His personal armor, gifted to him by the Emperor Titus Mede II after Aurum's efforts in the Civil War and assistance in rooting out and killing the Dark Brotherhood within Skyrim. 

Sword

Enchanted to Drain the energy/stamina from his opponents, along with frost. 

Powers/Abilities

Mana/Magic

Through his training and lessons, Aurum has honed his control over his mana and magic, and has been trained (to some extend) in the Arts of Restoration and Destruction, Aurum doesn't deny that he has researched other forms and schools of magi as well, such as Illusion and Conjuration.

Master Swordsman

I think it speaks for itself, Aurum has been trained all his life in how to wield a sword, though he is just as efficient with other weapons, such as spears and bows, his preferred weapon of choice appears to be the sword .

Aurum has honed his senses and reflexes to a fold.

Shouts/Thu'um

As mentioned, Aurum is Dragonborn, and through his heritage, has the ability to use the powers/magics of the dragons, as well as the ability to devour/absorb their souls once slain.

Backstory

 Aurum doesn't know anything about his past, an enigma even to himself, seeing as the very first memory he has was on the carriage that would take him to Helgen for his execution, having been mistaken for a Stormcloak rebel.

Confused, yet unnaturally calm for someone in his situation, he wouldn't let something like "fate" define his ending, and simply waited out the situation.

That was when it happened, the great black dragon with eyes like shining, rage filled rubies. It laid waste to the town, which allowed Aurum to escape with the help of a Legionary named Hadvar. After escaping Helgen and resting in a small village by the name of Riverwood, he was requested to send word to the Jarl of the Hold, to warn him of the new dragon threat, and so his destiny began...

after slaying Alduin, he was hailed as a hero, he would take time to rest, wandering the land, exploring every nook and corner until he was satisfied. 

He would join several guilds and organizations, mostly out of curiosity and boredom. 

Other

His name is an unusual one, something many of his acquaintances would note on, to which Aurum would simply state it was the name he remembers, and prefers to be referred by, it felt... "right" as he claims.

Funnily enough (at least to Aurum), there have surfaced a couple cults and fanatic priests who worship him as a sort of demigod. And has demanded that the Dragonborn to be recorded and ascended to the ranks of the Imperial and Cyrodilic myths and sainthood.
