Appearance 

Adonis is a shapeshifter, a demon who can change his form and appearance to his own liking. But his "main" form is discribed as being beautiful, a heritage he made for himself from when he was still an angel with a few "modifications", standing at the tall height of 6'4, with hair as black as night reaching down over his back, with a pair of long black horns sprouting out of his head like a crown, with a few black dragon like scales forming a crest on his forehead. Pale, flawless skin, and a pair of slited, glowing green eyes. This form is quite well fit and muscled, but lithe. His nails are replaced by nong, sharp adn black claws, and sharp, long fangs.

His Demonic forms: 

Adonis has a few demonic forms, some for spesific uses, mostly for the 'other wordly' or intimidating aura he gives off to his mortal followers.

His more intimidating/Monstrous form, taking the shape of a shadowy demon that resembles a draconic creature (the size of this form as well):

Another form he likes to use is a humanoid form, garbed in armor and a mask, in which he is simply called Samael.

Shapeshifting

Has the ability to take on any form he desires, be it man or woman, or any other creature. 

Disorient

he has the ability to effect his prey's mind, making their world disoriented and hazy, however the stronger will and mental power they have, the harder the effects will settle in.

Shadow manipulation

Able to control hellish fires that burn with the heat of a hundred suns, which takes on the form of a green color.

Personality

Adonis is a charismatic and calm creature, often known to use honeyed words to lure people towards what he wants. He is cold and calculated, always five steps ahead of his target. He likes to trick mortals into doing things for him, as well as do petty crimes such as theft. However even so, he unlike many demons, has a soft spot for children, never once targetting them, and will even punish those who harms the young ones. 

But even so, he is a demon, and when angered  is brutal and terrifying to face, and can be expectianlly cruel if truly wanted. But deep down he feels betrayed by his brothers and sisters of Heaven, and is bitter towards them, even if he masks and acts like it doesn.

Backstory 

(from what his followers have gathered at least): Once a divine creation of the Heavens, Adonis was an angel who guarded the gates to Heavan for thousands of years. However once the humans came along, he was displeased by their progress, seeing most of them as simple apes who didn't know that there was higher beings then themesleves. 

So one day he wanted to prove that they were weak, by tricking a mortal man into stealing the coins of a merchant, only for the theft to end in murder. The mortal was inprisoned for his crimes, and later excecuted. But this in return slowly built up to fear and anger amongst the commoners, before it turned into a big riot and civil war within the great city.

After confronting his brothers and sisters from this, he was banished from the Heavens, stripped of his wings and cast to Hell as a shapeless shadow, forever feared and dispised by the angels, even by some of his closest siblings like Michael and Gabriel. millennia later he managed to rank himself quite high within the demonic monarchy, becoming a Demon Lord who was feared and respected by most.
