Alys is the welsh equivalent of the name Alice, which means "noble". Arturia is a female version of the name Arthur, which is often associated with the legendary and mythical King Arthur of Camelot, wielder of Excalibur. Cadeyrn means "Battle King" from the Welsh Cad "Battle" and Teyrn "King, Monarch".

She is of Pureblood descent, with both her mother and father being Purebloods themselves, which even some specualtions that the Cadeyrn family are direct descendants of the Pendragon bloodline.

Personality

Alys is a calm and composed individual, some would often even call her cold and emotionless behind her back. But if you get to know her or get through her walls, you would find a compassionate young woman who believes in honor and kindness to the people around her. She is extremely ambitious, even though she keeps said ambitions to herself and hasn't told anyone of what her goals are, she is extremely charming and charismatic towards others, often inspiring others to follow her when needed to. As mentioned she is a believer in honor, and as such keeps a code of chivalry such as never harming innocents and childern etc. She is extremely proud of being of Welsh and English heritage, and tries her best to keep an image of a noble lady of her status.

Appearance

Alys is quite short for her age, and is rather "undeveloped" in certain areas so to speak, but she is not exactly "flat". But she easily makes up for it with her looks, being told she is one of the most beautiful women people have ever laid their eyes on, even putting veela to shame, with golden blonde hair she usualy wears up in a bun, with fair, flawless skin and a pair of mesmerizing emerald green eyes. She is also quite fit, often training both physiucally and magically to balance out her strength, which is only added with the fact one of her favorite past times is swordsplay. She is often told it almost looks like she is of timeless beauty.

Magical abilities and skills

Alys is known to have an intellect often reffered to as of genius levels, and is regarded as one of the top 10 and brightest students that Hogwarts has seen in a long time. Her skill with practical and magical combat are next to none, with her study of different magical properties of spells and find a way to either "change" them or out right counter them. She is rather talented in the use of none verbal and wandless magic to a certain degree as well, but often preffer to use her wand since it is quicker and more potent in her opinion. She is known as one of the greatest duelists that England has seen in centuries. And is even discussed to award her a Second Class Order in the future.

Is known to be an almost master tier in the art of Occlemency, and is able to hold of Legimency users like Severus Snape to some degree.

Master Duelist, is above avarage, if not downright a master and one of the greatest duelists of the past few generations, and is even specualted to be able to tie up with the likes of Mad-Eye Moody and perhaps even Dambledore when she gets older.

Is of above avarage intellect, often regarded as a genius by her peirs and teachers for her theories and projects.

Is able to use nonverbal and wandless magic to a certain extend, though she would not call herself nowhere near a master of the art. Though she is able to manipulate certain magical elements such as wind, to boost her own speed and even able to make herself "walk" on water. And even coat her sword in a thin layer of wind, making it even sharper then normal.

Has great grades in Defense Against the Dark Arts, often showing her observant skills when taught a new spell or curse, and often comes up with ingenius ways to counter around them at an unnatural rate.

Is a great swordswoman and some would even say that this is her greatest strength, do to her training, she turned towards the way of the sword to hone her skills and expand her skills if she ever was to get into a situation where she lost her wand. And as such she took on her family's sword after she had been recognized as good enough to wield it.

A beautiful sword, said to have been made by the Goblins for the Cadeyrn family, and some suspects that it was spesifically created in image with Caliburn, the holy sword that King Arthur pulled from the stone, and gained the title of King of all Briton.

It is made with Goblin steel and engraved with Celtic and goblin runes to enhance it's strength, sharpness and durability, and surpisingly is a great conduit of magic, being able to store up the magic it's wielder pours into the blade and unleash it like a brilliant light of utter devistation.

However in doing so, she is depleted of magical reserves for few few days and even up to a few weeks depending on how much magic she poured into the attack, leaving her weak, faint and even sick.

They named the sword Caled, short for Caledfwlch, the Welsh name for Excalibur, in honor of their ancestor.

She was also gifted a set of magically enchanted armor, engraved with similar runes as her family sword, highly resistant to magical attacks as well as physicall, and is directly tied to Alys herself, and makes her able to call for it whenever she needs it

Her wand

Made from Hornbeam wood, is among one of the most sentient and adaptive wands to have, and is known to stick to their owners who have a clear goal, sometimes known as "obsessions" or visions.

Backstory

Alys was born into the highly respected pureblood family of Cadeyrn, which was known to be direct descendants of the Pendragon Bloodline, of the legendary King Arthur. She grew up to show an unnatural affinity in magic, and to often outsmart other children her age and even some older then her. Because of this she was often... not exactly "outcasted" by others, but often put on a sort of pedistal, isolated and pushed away from everyone since they saw her as a prodigal daughter.

And as the years went by she grew to become accustomed to the behavior of everyone around her, building up walls and getting training in Occlemency to further hone her emotions and controll her expression.

Later on she recieved her letter to attend Hogawarts...

For some reason, she abselutly adores lions, often claiming it to be her favorite animal

One of her favorite activities are riding, seeing as while growing up, her family made her learn to ride a mount with the stables owner by her family. And as such has come to enjoy it as a hobby or pastime
