The first part of Shadow's plan was to gather all the stray pets in his town, so first thing in the morning he got up looked for strays. Turtles, cats, dogs, birds, snakes, just about anyone and anything. At night he stalked for crime and taught the strays defensive moves that wouldn't kill anybody. He soon learned he had 1 week to train these strays. Shadow put the blood, sweat, and tears he didn't have into training the strays(Which is very hard). Some were better at defensive moves and they became guards, others were better at talking people out of fighting and they became peacemakes. By Friday, Shadow could look at a stray and know what they would be better at. In no time at all it was Sunday.

                 Sunday's Meeting
"Listen up everybody, tomorrow the war is going to start and if we don't do anything we'll all die. Here's the plan. I know the exact location of the battle. We give them some time to figure it out without fighting but if they start to fight that's when we step in. We'll spilt up into groups as we practiced yesterday and the peacemakers will try to reason with them by drawing sentences in the dirt. If that doesn't work the guards will force them apart. Does everyone get it?" Shadow asked."Yeah! We got it! Woohoo! Let's Go!" Roared the army of strays.
