When Shadow opened his eyes he saw Strike, one of his strays."Don't worry Shadow, the war has been stopped." Strike barked."Tell me why the left side stopped." Shadow commanded Strike. "They stopped because...they were scared of you." Strike barked quietly."I knew it. I'm leaving. The only reason I'm still alive is to save humans and be a good role model for them, but during that battle I broke both of those reasons."Shadow said, standing up. Then Shadow left down the dark alleyway they had been in. Shadow's heart ached. He had broken all he had stood for. What could he do now? He walked until he reached a forest and he hid in an abandoned fox den. He never wanted to see another living being again.
