Two weeks later...

Nyria: "(opening eyes) Where..."

Veld: "At the inn."

Nyria: "(shaking head) Veld?"

Nyria slowly sits up to find herself inside a room at the inn with Veld.

Nyria: "(confused) Where are the others?"

Veld finishes mixing together a medicine and puts a cap on it.

Veld: "They're out to get something to eat."

Nyria: "And your not?"

Veld: "Well someone had to stay here to ensure that you're okay."

Nyria notices her bandana at the side and begins to tie it back on her head.

Nyria: "What happened?"

Veld: "An overexertion of your energy, it's a side effect of the awakening procedure."

Nyria finishes tying the bandana and sits on the edge of the bed.

Nyria: "(smiling) Thanks for looking after me."

Veld: "(blushing) N-No problem!"

A knock is heard.

Nyria: "Go ahead."

The others walk in, carrying an assortment of food in their arms.

Makoh: "Y-You're awake!"

Rox immediately begins to stuff her face.

Rox: "(mouth full) I'm starving!"

Lariat: "(sighing) You can't change a thing for a bit, even when we've found the seventh emotion."

Thoris joins.

Thoris: "(grabbing food) Who can blame her? We haven't had a decent meal in months!"

Owen: "(awkwardly) Don't worry Nyria, we're glad you're conscious again."

Nyria: "(smiling) It's fine, and it also looks funny when someone is stuffing their face in my book!"

Makoh: "H-Heh..."

Veld: "Well you'd to be used to it!"

Nyria tries to stand up, only to face plant into the floor.

Lariat: "Are you okay?"

Nyria: "(laughing) I'm fine!"

They all join before Rox eats it all.

Meanwhile...

Queen: "Is her sign ready?"

A brown leather, armguard with a pink rose petal pattern is given to the queen by a maid.

Maid: "Here you go."

Queen: "They should be here shortly..."

One hour later...

Rox: "(relieved) There we go..."

Owen remembers a message.

Owen: "I almost forgot! The Queen wants to see you Nyria."

Nyria: "Really? Why?"

Lariat: "She said she wanted to give something to you."

Rox: "Oh yeah!"

Nyria walks over to the door.

Nyria: "Well let's go."

Everyone stands up.

Makoh: "Th-Then we need to head out to the Demi."

Thoris: "And thank the gods we don't have to go by boat!"

The heroes quickly arrive at the slightly less ruined building and made their way to the courtyard.

Queen: "There you are."

Nyria: "H-Hello my Queen."

Queen: "You honestly know that you don't need to be formal around me."

Nyria: "O-Of course!"

Veld: "So what is it that you wanted to give Nyria?"

The armguard is held out in the Queen's hands.

Queen: "This, the symbol of a Sprixie warrior."

Nyria shakily reaches out.

Nyria: "D-Doesn't a rose petal mean top rank?"

Nyria holds the guard in her hands.

Queen: "As one who bears the gods gift, you are more than worthy."

Nyria slips it on her left arm.

Nyria: "I... I can't describe the feelings I'm feeling."

Queen: "That's just what I was hoping for."

Nyria begins to tear up.

Makoh: "C-Congrats!"

Nyria wipes away the tears.

Moment of silence...

Queen: "Now then, I assume that you'll be setting out?"

Lariat: "Yes, we've wasted too much time as it is."

Queen: "You'll need to head west of here to get there quickly."

Owen: "That shouldn't be a problem."

Queen: "Now I'd best not keep you here any more."

The heroes begin to leave.

Nyria: "(sniffling) I'm going to do my best!"

They have left the building.
