The next morning...

Owen: "(yawning) Dad?"

Owen's father is missing along with the Origami Blade.

Owen: "Uh dad?"

A loud crash is heard.

Owen: "(panicking) That's the main plaza!"

Owen gets some cleaner clothes on and rushes to the plaza.

Owen: "Is it the bandits?!"

Owen arrives to find a wall of people blocking entrance to the slums.

Owen: "Definitely bandits."

Owen sees a few bandits using rooftops to get past as some bandits distract.

???: "I see your-"

A man is punched past the wall and right next to Owen.

Owen: "Dad?!"

His father is coughing blood and holds the Origami Blade.

Dad: "Owen, please take care of them!"

His father falls unconscious.

Owen: "I'm on it!"

Owen takes the blade and switches it to blade form.

Owen: "Now to stop them."

Owen sees a stack of crates he can climb up.

Owen: "These bandits always come and steals everything from the slums just when anyone could make it out. I won't let my fear get to me!"

Owen quickly climbs the crates.

Owen: "Now to-"

An arrow flies right by his face.

Bandit Elf: "Nice dodge kid."

Owen: "I forgot that you guys have all eight races."

Owen assumes a fighting stance.

Bandit Elf: "You've got guts."

Another arrow is blocked.

Owen: "You won't take away from the slums this time!"

Owen continues to block the arrows as he walks closer.

Owen: "(in head) My bravery will help me push on!"

Owen gets close enough to beat the elf in one hit.

Owen pushes onward.

Owen: "My fear won't get to me."

As Owen pushes forward...

Feaquil: "What?"

An orange orb in front of Feaquil begins to glow.

Jex: "Is it reacting?"

Feaquil: "The Orb of Bravery is reacting faintly for now."

Back with Owen...

Owen: "The Dwarf bandit."

A person only around four and a half feet tall with an axe stands before him.

Dwarf Bandit: "A kid huh? This'll be quick."

The dwarf swings his axe rapidly as Owen blocks to the best of his abilities.

Owen: "Now is my chance!"

With a single swing, he slices the axe handle in two.

Dwarf Bandit: "W-What?!"

Owen knocks him down in a single kick.

Owen: "The Gigas, Human, Aqua, Demi, and Fangli are all down there."

The Aqua have traits of almost any fish while the Demi have beyond pale skin and possess night vision, plus no body hair.

Owen: "They're getting through! I need to get going!"

Owen pushes forward only to be ambushed by a jolt of lightning.

Owen: "Sprixie magic."

A girl only around three feet all and has strange markings all over her arms, legs, and face walks up to him.

Sprixie Bandit: "Aw I missed!"

Owen: "(in head) I need to keep fighting. Dad and I are the only ones who know anything about combat. My fear won't reach me!"

Back with the gods...

Feaquil: "It's gotten brighter!"

Bael: "Seems as though a mortal has burning bravery within their heart."

Owen blocks more lightning only to be shocked.

Owen: "Now to stop this!"

Owen musters up as much energy as possible and lands a critical blow straight to the chest.

Sprixie Bandit: "(weakly) H-How?"

Owen finds another stack he can jump down.

Owen: "This'll be one of the craziest things that I do in my life, but I won't be afraid!"

Owen climbs down.

Meanwhile...

Demi Bandit: "(in head) They should've gotten through by now."

Human Bandit: "(in head) They could've easily gotten through."

The twenty foot Gigas takes a quick glance of the rooftops to find the other three knocked out.

Gigas Bandit: "Wh-What?!"

Man: "Owen!"

Aqua Bandit: "(in head) That explains that!"

Owen gets behind the bandits.

Owen: "You won't take away from us ever again!"

They turn around to see Owen holding the slightly bloody Origami Blade.

Kitsune Bandit: "Some kid did that?!"

Owen: "I'll make sure you won't come back here!"

Feaquil's orb glows brighter.

Poxi: "The Orb of Bravery is reacting stronger by the second!"

The Gigas readies a ten foot hammer, the Kitsune pulls out it's claws, the Human readies his own sword, the Aqua has razor sharp metal on it's fins, and the Demi readies a scythe.

Human Bandit: "(smirking) You don't know what you're up against."

They attack in seemingly perfect sync and hit Owen full force.

Owen: "(coughing blood) Guess I only went one by one."

Owen smashes through a wall and becomes motionless.

Owen: "(weakly) Will not let fear-"

The Slums: "No Owen!"

The Orb of Bravery has become beyond bright.

Feaquil: "Now to summon the one."

Back to the bandits...

Gigas Bandit: "Now how about we take what's ours."

As the bandits begin to push through, Owen has a vision.

Owen: "Where am I?"

Owen is floating above the center of a platform in the sky.

Feaquil: "You are the first of many to receive the blessing."

Owen: "What?!"

The orange orb floats in front of Owen.

Feaquil: "I am Feaquil, goddess of Bravery and I only have one mission for you Owen Guil."

Owen: "Wh-What?!"

Feaquil: "Find the others of the other races of Isa and rekindle the seal."

Owen: "Grandpa's story..."

Owen returns to reality only to find the same orb in front of him.

Owen: "(in pain) I fear nothing from you bandits!"

Owen grabs the orb as energy is seen flowing into his body.

Fangli Bandit: "What is that kid doing?!"

Owen begins to struggle.

Owen: "(struggling) Must hold on!"

The orb begins to vanish as more energy flows into him.

Human Bandit: "I'll get him."

The Human bandit rushes towards Own as Owen's clothes begin to change.

Owen: "(struggling) Nearly there!"

Owen's clothes change to bandages wrapped around his arms, his shirt has changed to chain mail with a neat, white, short sleeved shirt with orange around the sleeve ends, his pants have become high quality and durable brown leather, his boots are white with a simple trim and now has a flowing, bright orange, slightly torn scarf around his neck.

Owen: "(relieved) Now!"

The last of the energy enters the Origami Blade.

Owen: "(confused) What was that?!"

The bandit is about to get in Owen's face.

Feaquil: "The power to stand up to any task and lack fear rests within your heart."

Owen swings the sword and sends the bandit flying without ever touching him.

Owen: "(confused) I'll take it!"

The hilt of the sword has an orange light.

Human Bandit: "What just happened to that kid?!"

Owen stands up feeling better than ever.

Owen: "Time to use the Origami Blade in a way no one thought possible!"

Owen begins to run up to the others.

Fangli Bandit: "Is this kid nuts?!"

They notice the change of clothes.

Aqua Bandit: "What did this kid do?"

Owen: "Now I'm ready for you guys!"

Owen gives his sword a single slash, sending all but the Gigas flying, but knocking him back a few feet."

Woman: "What just happened to Owen?!"

Owen's father regains conscious.

Dad: "What just happened to my son?"

Owen locks blade to claw with the Fangli.

Fangli Bandit: "(struggling) What are you?!"

Owen: "I have no idea, but I'll take it!"

Owen knocks the Kitsune into the Gigas before he can react.

Owen: "Who's next?!"

They decide to run like a bunch of pussies.

Owen: "Than-"

Owen falls to the ground.

Woman: "We need to get him medical attention ASAP!"

Several people rush Owen to his home...
