Later that evening...

Rox: "So now we've gotta decide who gets what room."

Thoris: "Normally we would give you your own room, but..."

Lariat: "(rubbing neck) We're still having issues from the couch."

Owen: "(rubbing neck) But we're going to let you decide."

Rox thinks for a moment.

Rox: "I'll share my room with Owen."

Lariat tosses Rox a key.

Lariat: "Then we'll discuss our plans tomorrow."

They all turn in for the evening.

Meanwhile...

Dr. Orya: "Can those kids learn that it isn't your fault you're like this?"

Veld is getting bandaged up.

Veld: "It will one day stop."

Dr. Orya wraps up.

Dr. Orya: "Now you need to be careful."

Veld stands up.

Veld: "I'll be in my room."

Veld begins to walk down the hall.

Dr. Orya: "My son really does have belief."

Veld enters a mostly empty bedroom att the end of the hallway.

Veld:: "They'll one day regret this."

Veld is staring out of his window.

Veld: "But I don't possess the strength to retaliate."

Veld notices some strange figures moving towards a mountain not far behind the village through the ash.

Veld: "What are those things?"

Veld tries to focus harder, but can't make out much else.

Veld: "Weird, but why are the going to Quake Volcano?"

Veld tries to fall asleep.

The next morning...

Owen: "(yawning) Morning."

Owen wakes up to find Rox curled up into a ball on her bed.

Thoris: "(knocking) We're coming in."

Thoris and Lariat enter.

Owen: "(rubbing eyes) Hey."

They sit down on Owen's bed.

Thoris: "So you guys have any ideas about how we sweep this place?"

Rox: "(yawning) Oh hey guys."

Rox sits up.

Owen: "Not really."

Lariat is thinking.

Lariat: "I suggest that we split up and search in groups of two."

Owen: "So that way we cover more ground faster."

Rox's ears perk up.

Rox: "I get it!"

Lariat stands up.

Lariat: "I'll go with Rox."

Thoris: "Fine by me."

They all quickly set out.

Several hours later...

Owen: "(rubbing back of head) We're seriously finding nothing."

The two have searched the entire west side of town and found nothing.

Thoris: "(yawning) We should head back, eat some, and rest up for tomorrow."

They begin to walk back over to the inn.

Meanwhile...

Rox: "We've got nothing."

Rox and Lariat took care of the east side and got no results.

Lariat: "Let's head back."

They all head back.

Half an hour later...

Lariat: "No luck."

Thoris crashes into his bed.

Thoris: "(muffled) Figures that this wouldn't be easy 100% of the time."

Lariat sits down on his bed.

Rox: "(perky) Well we can just try again tomorrow!"

Owen and Rox begin to leave the room.

Owen: "(yawning) We can try something else tomorrow."

Owen closes the door behind him.

Lariat: "(thinking) Who could it be?"

Lariat lies down.

Meanwhile...

Xeoin: "It appears that they aren't realizing that the answer was right in front of them."

Floa: "But I fear that he will arise in the face of death."

Poxi: "Soalious, his bonds are weakening."

Bael: "But either way, the bonds will continue to weaken whether we give them the power, or we take it back."

Feaquil: "It's better to give us a chance rather than lose the opportunity."

Meanwhile...

Veld: "(snoring) One day..."

Veld had just fallen asleep when he feels a tremor like never before.

Veld: "(drowsy) What was that?"

He looks outside to see that Quake Volcano is beginning to glow.

Veld: "(rubbing eyes) Please tell me this is a dream!"

He's not dreaming.

Veld: "Quake Volcano is supposed to be dormant! Why is it going off?!"

Veld remembers the figures.

Veld: "I need to stop them!"

Veld grabs his hammer and hops out of his window.

Veld: "All I need to do is believe."
