Olivia
"So, are you guys ready for today's adventure?" I cheered, casting Sarah and Amelia a look. We had agreed to meet the rest downstairs together with the tourist guide who would take us around the places we'd visit.
"More than ready," Sarah grinned excitedly. We were all dressed comfortably. Sarah and Amelia, of course, had their faces dolled up, but I didn't go for anything flashy. With my big baby bump, I wouldn't be comfortable wearing a tight dress. I went for a maxi dress and sandals, comfortable enough for the walk around.
We headed out together with Sarah and Amelia's daughters. The rest were already waiting for us in front of a big bus. "Here we are." I cheered, walking towards a good-looking Logan—handsome should fit him. The first thing I noticed was his new hairstyle.
"Not bad," I mused, eyeing him closely. Casual outfits suited him. Wait... the color of his shirt is the same as the prints of my dress.
"Did you wear the same outfit as me on purpose?" I whispered. He glanced from his shirt to mine and a smile crept on his lips.
"A sign to show we're a match made in heaven." He winked. I rolled my eyes in return. I took my time to spare each of the members a look. Mr. Nero and his wife weren't looking bad. The man also went for casual wear. Did I forget to mention he was wearing a cap, making him look younger amidst his sons?
My heart warmed up with excitement at how the day would turn out. The tourist guide, Karen, cleared his throat as his eyes fixed on his tablet phone. We had met up with him earlier to give him the list of things we wanted to do on our stay in Costa Rica. He'd help us find the best places to spend our time.
And again, father will still be the leader. I should have gotten a tag that will indicate that.
Olivia, don't exaggerate it too much. Him agreeing is even enough. "The first tour for today is to visit the National Park," Karen announced.
"We'll be visiting the Manuel Antonio national park. It is one of the most popular and renowned national parks in Costa Rica." He explained.
"I won't spoil the fun for you, but trust me, you won't want to come back home." He added with a light grin.
"We don't mind. As long as we get to enjoy ourselves. Lead the way!" Sarah cheered in a loud voice. We all hopped inside the bus. Each couple took their desired seat. Logan and I sat beside the window side.
"Make sure you keep a closer watch on Molly and Quinn," Father warned, sparing Sarah and Amelia a glance.
"Don't worry, Father. They will stick around at all costs," Amelia assured. The man cleared his throat before turning his face straight ahead.
"Don't you think father looks good in casuals?" I said to Logan, whose eyes were outside the window.
"I've been admiring him too. He even wore a cap to show us he's a fresh-blooded man too." Logan chuckled at his own statement.
I smacked him lightly on the shoulder. "Stop talking behind his back. I will tell him." I warned.
"You didn't even compliment your own husband," he said, pushing his lips forward in a pouty way. I didn't fail to grin at the way he did it.
"Seriously, Logan. Don't act like little Quinn or Molly." He said nothing and even turned his face towards the window. My grin widened. I liked it when he's acting all cute towards me.
"Okay, I'm sorry. My husband is the most handsome man among the rest here. You've even surpassed me in dolling yourself up." I said, holding him by the arm.
He spared me a glance and turned his face again, pretending to be still angry. "I love you." I found myself saying. Logan finally dropped his hand and turned to look at me. He wasn't expecting me to confess my love in daylight and that in the car with all family members present. But who cares?
An amused smile dangled on his lips. He leaned forward and placed a light kiss on my forehead. I closed my eyes as I felt his warmth radiating through my body. "I love you too, wife." He whispered, rubbing his thumb on my cheek. "And I'm not angry at you."
"Are you sure? Your face says it all." I raised a brow.
"What will I get by staying angry with you? I can't even if I want to. Making you sad is the last thing I would want to do." He said. My cheeks heated up with blush, and I knew Logan could see through it. He intertwined our hands and placed a lingering kiss on it. "Let's enjoy today to the fullest," he said. I nodded my head in response, then rested my head on his shoulder.

My jaw dropped at the sight before me. It was one of the most beautiful places I had ever set my eyes on. Karen was indeed right when he said Manuel Antonio Park was the most popular. It had exceeded my expectations. The number of people walking around the park was enough to tell you how popular it was.
We glided our way into the depths of the park, Karen showing us around each part and explaining. "Have a look at that monkey," I said to Logan, pulling him toward the animal.
"This is beautiful, Logan," I hushed out. Our arms were linked together as we walked around. The same went for Amelia and Sarah with their husbands and Father and his wife. I didn't fail to notice the look on Father's face; he was also captivated by the park. I was glad that everyone was enjoying themselves.
We walked past the sloth, reptiles, and birds section. I didn't forget to capture each and every moment. "Logan! Look at the colorful birds!" I yelled out excitedly, not caring about getting the attention of other people. I was overexcited. I dragged Logan away once again towards the colorful birds.
"Oh my God! What a beautiful creature," the man in charge of the section smiled at us. "It is one of a rare kind, the only colorful bird you can find here in Manuel Antonio Park."
"Really? That means we can't see them in just any park?" I asked, my eyes slightly widening.
"Yes. That's what makes this park unique and popular," the man answered.
I turned to an attentive Logan who was busy staring at the birds. "I want it as a pet, Logan," I blurted out.
"What? A pet? They are not meant to be kept as pets."
"I know, but I want it," I stamped my foot like a small child.
"I don't think they can sell it to us, right, Sir?"
"Yes, Ma'am. They are meant to be kept here for people to admire. You can take a picture of it for memories." My face fell. I could've taken it back to New York with me and trained it. I took a few clicks before we moved on to another place.
Karen literally took us to every part of the park. We found out the park had a beach too, called Playa Manuel Antonio. Unfortunately, we didn't have our beach outfits with us. Quinn and Molly were the only ones who played around in the white sand and clear water.
From there, we headed to the park restaurant. Ask me about my expectations; it had exceeded them by far. The food was worth every penny spent. I could have spent the whole day there without getting tired. We were served different types of cuisine. Some were even strange-looking, while others were mouth-watering. We cleared everything from the table. Everyone was shocked at the amount of food I ate. Although they kept reminding me to be careful for the baby, I couldn't care less. The food was too delicious and tempting to ignore.
The last place we visited before calling it a day was the bonfire. Father didn't want to join at first, but the three of us ladies had to convince him that it's not bad to enjoy a slice of life. When he eventually agreed, he forgot that he was the leader. He made some new friends his age who had also come to enjoy themselves. He literally left our side and went on to have a drink with them. I was glad things were going according to plan.
The soft melody rising from the guitar Liam was playing warmed up the place. I didn't know Liam could play the guitar. He handled it so perfectly. A smile found its way to my lips as I glanced at each and every one of them. The happiness on their faces was enough for me. I might not get the full result of my plans, but I knew I had cracked the shell already. The bond had began building.
"Logan, did you see how happy everyone is?" I said, looking at Logan, who was seated by my side, clapping to the song Scott was singing. Liam was playing the guitar, while Scott was doing the singing.
"I'm seeing that. All thanks to you." Logan suddenly grabbed my hand and stood us up. "Let's get out of here," he whispered, leading me away from the crowd.
Logan led us towards the edge of the water. I was about to sit down on the white sand when Logan stopped me by spreading a handkerchief on the ground first. "Trying to be romantic, huh?" I teased, gently sitting down.
Logan followed suit. "Normally, I'm a romantic person." I won't argue with that. He has all shades of romance to him.
"I won't argue with that," I confessed with a grin. Logan turned to me. "I wanted us to have some alone time before we call it a day," he said.
"We have been together all through today," I voiced out. We hadn't left each other's side.
"I know. I can't get enough of you." My heart picked up its pace at the way his eyes filled with nothing but swirling emotion. "I don't want you out of my sight even for a second," he continued.
"Logan-" I didn't get to say what I was going to say when he cut me off. "I don't want this moment to end. I want to always see the happiness on your face just like today. The same happiness you have brought to my life and my family. Words are not enough to express how thankful I am for meeting you in my life."
I didn't realize I was in tears until Logan cupped my face with both his palms, caressing my cheeks. He stared deeply into my eyes. The intensity swirling in them was unlike anything I had seen before. I saw nothing but love in his eyes—his love for me.
"I cannot do without you, Olivia. You're my temptation. I love you so much, Olivia." As soon as the words left his lips, my heart felt like it was about to burst. At that moment, I knew that leaving Logan would be my downfall.
"I love you too, Logan," I whispered. Logan closed the remaining gap between our faces. His lips slowly touched mine, and I wasted no time in wrapping my arms around him, parting my lips to give him more access. Under the moonlight, we shared a warm kiss that sealed our hearts together.
