Two Months Later

Xavier walked out of the bathroom and went into the closet. After cladding in an office outfit, he comes out and walked to the bed. Eve was still sleeping and looking beautiful as always. Nowadays she had been sleeping a lot lately. He also realized it's not easy to handle a pregnant woman. She had been giving him hard time and he was bearing her all mood swings patiently. Yesterday they went to the hospital and the doctor told him that Eve and the baby were perfectly healthy. The doctor asked them if they wanted to know the gender of the baby but they decline because they wanted to keep it surprise. She was five months pregnant now. He caressed her hair and kissed her forehead than at her baby bump. Her baby bump was clearly started showing and he was beyond happy with it.

"Hey baby, take care of your mommy and don't trouble her. Daddy will miss you. Bye." He said kissing her bump one more time.

He leaned to her face and kissed her lips for a second. He took his laptop bag and left the room. He went downstairs and called Amelia.

"Master..." She greeted him bowing her head.

"I'm going office. Make some healthy breakfast for her and if she makes any fuss like not want to eat or anything then make a call to me. And please be around her when she climbs stairs or goes anywhere. She has a habit of slipping and falling so you just stay with her. If anything happens then inform my mother first then me." Xavier instructed her.

"Yes, master," Amelia said nodding her head.

Xavier mutters good and went from there. He walked out of the elevator and called Dylan and Joshua.

"Mr. Knight, you called us." Dylan greeted him.

"You both will stay around Eve and help Amelia in taking care of her. If she wants to go out then you both will accompany her and send me the location." Xavier said.

"Ok, Mr. Knight. You don't worry about her." They said with a smile.

Xavier nods and sits inside the car. His mobile beeped with a message and he opens the message.

Today is their last day. Are you ready for the final move?

Xavier smirked and typed a message.

I'm always ready. Let's bring them down on the earth and show them the real world.

It has been two months and everything set back normal. That day, Eve found out that Gio was her brother she fainted at that moment but when she gains consciousness; she cried hugging him. It was a Kodak moment. Now things changed a lot. Gio often visits them whenever he got time. They also started working on finishing David's business step by step. They can finish him on a single step but they wanted to make him suffers. They don't want to end them abruptly.

The car stopped in front of a mansion and he got out of the car. A man approached him and handed him a file. He opens the file and a smirk appeared on his lips.

"Let's go and get over it." Xavier mouthed and walked into the mansion followed by his guards.

He pressed the doorbell and the door gets open. He smirked looking at the person and that person smiled back at him.

"Xavier, my son-in-law. It's good to see you here." Julia said with a surprised smile.

She welcomed him in with a big smile and he walked inside like the owner.

"Darling, who is it?" David asked coming from the stairs not looking at Xavier.

He then looked at Xavier and widens his eyes while Xavier smirked at him evilly.

"Hello, father-in-law." Xavier waved his hand at him.

David comes back to sense and walked to him with a fake smile.

"Hii.. Xav.. Mr. Knight." David said with a stammer.

"So you remember. So tell me how's your business going on?" Xavier asked sitting on the couch.

His face turns pale and looked at him in horror.

"Son, what would you like to have?" Julia asked in a sweet voice.

"What about this house?" He asked back.

"What do you mean?" Julia asked confusingly.

Xavier threw the file on the table. David took the file and started flipping pages. Each page was widening his eyes and sweat beads appeared on his forehead.

"You just can't do this?" David was horrified after reading those papers.

"I can and I already did. I will give 10 minutes to empty this house." Xavier stated in a stern voice.

"Honey, what he is saying?" Julia asked still confused.

"I am the new owner of your house. I bought it." Xavier replied with a shrug.

"What? But how can you do this to us? We are your in-laws. Evelyn won't be happy with your this move." Julia said.

"Oh... please. She wouldn't care if you die on the road." Xavier laughed.

David didn't say anything and went from there. A few seconds later he came back and pointed a gun at him. Xavier raised his brows at him and smirked.

"You had done enough damage to us. You ruined my business and emptied my bank balance. Now you took my house and bring me on the road. No, I won't let it happen. You don't know anything about me. You did a big mistake by coming here." David laughed loudly.

Xavier shook his head smiling and stood up from the couch.

"Do you remember Noah Campbell and Angela Campbell?" Xavier asked holding his hand and snatched the gun from his hand.

"Y... yo.. who a.. are t... they?" Julia asked sweating badly.

"Tch... tch... you killed them and stole their daughter and pretending like you don't know them." Xavier snapped angrily.

"You can't do anything because you don't have any proof against us. Police will ask you for proof." David said.

"And who said I want to prove you criminal? I know you both are criminals. I am just going to give you in the safest hand of the earth." Xavier said with a wink.

He looked behind them and saw Gio was already standing there with a smudge smile. He walked to him and hands him the gun.

"Over to you mate. They're yours." Xavier said patting his back and walked away from there.

"Who are you?" David asked angrily in loud voice.

"Lower down your fucking voice." Gio grabbed him by his neck and throws him against the wall.

He then grabbed Julia's hair and smashed her head on the glass table. He called his men and asked them to take both bastards to Italy. He will deal with both of them in his den.

A Week Later

Eve was keeping Xavier on his toes because of her mood swings and midnight craving which was always weird. There were a few nights when he was forced to sleep in the living room because she wanted to sleep in a wide place spreading across on the bed. Technically, it never succeeds because she ended up sleeping in his arms after turning on the bed several times. Xavier has been patiently bearing her all mood swings. He becomes overprotective and possessive of her.

"Mrs. Knight, where to?" Joshua asked as she sat inside the car.

"To my husband." She mouthed munching down her favorite chocolate bar which Xavier bought last night as an apology gift as he came home late.

"Mrs. Knight, you craved for something?" Dylan asked.

"Uh.. mint choco chip ice cream." She replied with a grin.

Dylan and Joshua chuckled. Well, not only Xavier but she had kept Dylan, Joshua, and Amelia on toes and always alert because in his absence they're the ones who took care of her. Olivia and Alexander often visit her when Xavier went to the office. Olivia used to makes delicious food for her and Alexander used to play video games with her. And when Gio and Vincent visit her separately; she used to take them out on shopping all day. With Bony she used to watch movies whenever she visited her. Unfortunately, Victor moved to Sweden not wanting to cause any problem between her and Xavier. He had strong feelings for her and tried to forget her but couldn't so he thought it was best for him to move out of her life forever. So without telling anyone he just disappeared and went to Sweden and started a new life.

The car stopped in front of the building and she got out of the car. The last time she came here; she ended up in the hospital but now she doesn't have to worry about anything. She walked inside the building and was greeted by employees. She greeted back them with a smile and went into the elevator followed by Dylan and Joshua. She got out of the elevator and enters his cabin but didn't find his single trace so she comes out of his cabin.

"What happened, Mrs. Knight?" Dylan asked with worry.

"He is not here." She replied with a frown.

"He must be in the meeting. You should wait in the cabin. He'll be back soon." Joshua said.

She shook her head negatively, "No, I want to see him right now. Where is the conference room?" She stated.

"Yes Mrs. Knight, he will be here soon. You need rest so why don't you wait in his cabin?" Dylan asked.

"Where is the conference room?" She mouthed coldly.

Dylan and Joshua sigh at her stubbornness. They knew she won't listen to them still they tried to make her understand which always got failed. They guided her to the conference room and she enters the room. Xavier abruptly stopped with the interruption and glanced at the cute source of interruption. Everyone looked in his direction and he frowns as a few of his employees were checking out her.

"Excuse me, gentleman. Just a minute." Xavier said.

"Take your time, Mr. Knight." His business partner said with a smile.

Xavier nods and walked to her. He held her elbow and took her in the corner.

"What happened, Princess?" He asked worriedly and checked her temperature.

"Uhhh... I was missing you." She replied with a pout and he chuckled.

"Can't wait to get over this meeting?" He asked moving her hair behind her ear.

She shook her head negatively and he kissed her knuckle. He walked into the middle of the conference room with her.

"This is my wife and the mother of my child, Evelyn." He said proudly.

Everyone present there greeted her and she blushed.

"Mr. Hayashi, can we arrange our meeting tomorrow?" Xavier asked politely.

"Sure Mr. Knight. I'm here for two weeks so I have a lot of time." Mr. Hayashi replied getting up from the chair.

Eve was looking at the lady who is Mr. Hayashi's assistant and frowns as she was checking out her husband.

"Thank you, Mr. Hayashi," Xavier said.

"No problem, Mr. Knight. Family always comes first." Mr. Hayashi said with a smile.

"Thank you once again. I'll see you tomorrow." Xavier said shaking his hand with him.

"My pleasure. See you tomorrow, Mr. Knight." Mr. Hayashi said.

Mr. Hayashi's assistant forwards her hand and Xavier shakes hands with her politely but she purposely rubbed her thumb on his knuckle. He abruptly jerked her hand knowing her intension and wrapped his hand around Eve's shoulder. But Eve wasn't happy with her that bitchy move and burned with lava.
