Next Day

In the morning when Eve woke up she didn't find Xavier on his side and she sighs in disbelief. Last night he came late and woke early before her but he has reason. Tonight is their wedding reception and he wants full security around the mansion. She went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth then stepped into the bathtub.

After half hour she walked out wrapping a towel around her naked frame and saw Xavier on a call. She sighs in disbelief and walked into the closet. She started looking for a dress to wear but her mind wasn't working in the right way. She felt a hand around her waist but didn't show any response and he kissed her bare shoulder.

"I know you are upset but you also know that I'm hell protective for you." He said rubbing his nose on her neck and inhales her fresh lavender fragrance.

"I know Xavier." She said lowly and he turns her toward him.

"Princess, what happened?" He asked holding her by the waist.

"Xavier, sometimes I feel that I am caging you with me. You're so mature and responsible man while I'm far different from you. I always behave like a baby. I cry on small things and always make you worried. I'm so stubborn and always trouble you. I feel like you don't deserve me. You deserve someone mature and responsible not me." She sobbed resting her head on his chest while he heard her fully and didn't interrupt her.

He spun her a little and made her sits on a couch then goes on his knees. He held her hands and kissed them stimulatory.

"You know you are the best thing happens to me. I was arrogant and jerk before meeting you. I'm still the same but with others. With you; I'm totally different. I enjoy every moment with you. Your little things always make me smile. Evelyn, I never cared for anyone expects my parents but I become possessive for you. And yes, you're baby, my baby and I love to pamper you. I never wanted a mature and responsible woman. I need you, princess." He said looking deep in his eyes and she sheds more tears hearing his lovable words.

"Oh Xavier, I love you so much." She said hiccupping and he chuckled wiping her tears.

"I love you more and... it says opposite always attracts." He said winking at her and she giggled through her tears before throwing herself in his arms.

He held her protectively and kissed her lips. She quickly responded to his kiss and messed his hair using her hands. After a few minutes they pulled back and he pecked her lips one last time then she walked to her dresser. He helped her choose a dress and kissed him on the left cheek for choosing cute dress for her.

They walked down in the hall and Eve looked around in the mansion that was getting decorated by numbers of people. She grabbed his arm excitingly and jumped on her feet.

"Already excited?" He asked with a chuckle and she bobbed her head.

She went into the kitchen smelling the food while Xavier decided to talk with security head.

"Mom, I smell Macaroni," Eve exclaimed entering the kitchen and Olivia turns towards her.

"It is because I know my daughter is hungry and she craved something delicious so I made Macaroni for you with double cheese," Olivia said kissing her head.

"You are the best mom. I love you." Eve said hugging her tightly.

Olivia laughed at her cuteness and patted her head then she broke the hug. She served macaroni in a bowl and gave her. She took her coffee cup and a glass of strawberry milkshake for Eve. They both walked out of the kitchen and sits on the chair.

At Night

As the beautician did final touch up Eve opens her eyes and looked herself in the mirror.

"Ma'am, you look beautiful." The beautician said thus her cheeks flushed.

Just then Bony enters the room with a plate of double cheese sandwich and screamed adoring her best friend.

"Oh my Jesus!!! You look breathtaking babe." Bony exclaimed dreamily and Eve smiled taking the plate from her hand.

"Thank you." She stuffed the sandwich not caring about her lipsticks and the beautician widens her eyes in horror.

"Ma'am, you are ruining my work." The beautician said with horrified look.

"Let her eat, woman. She always looks beautiful; even without makeup too." Xavier said from behind and they all looked him.

The beautician and Bony left from there while Xavier locked the door. He stepped near his wife and sits on her knees starring at her beautiful face. Once she finished the sandwich he took the plate and put aside it. He wiped her mouth carefully and she passed him a sweet smile as he made her drink water.

"Thank you, husband." She grinned showing her teeth and he chuckled tapping his finger on her cheek.

"Pleasure is all mines, princess." He said getting up from the floor and straightens his tux while Eve too stood up from the stood.

Eve finally noticed him top to down who was lo, looking hot in navy blue tuxedo with perfectly gelled hair. She sexily bites her lips and placed her hand on left side of his chest where his heart beat. He also checked her and found her extremely sexy in a line V neck sleeveless red gown. He held her hand which was rested on his chest and kissed her fingers.

"All I want to hide you from the world, my beautiful princess." He said tracing his finger on her cheek and kissed her lips.

She stood on her toes and wrapped her hands around his neck to kiss him properly. His hands moves on her curves and went down on her ass and squeezed them. She moaned in his mouth and he got chance to explore her mouth. Their kiss was broken by a knock on the door and both panted hard. They straighten their clothes and he cleared his throat then unlocked the door. His parents were standing there and whispering something to each other.

"What are you both doing?" He asked raising his brows and they looked at him.

Olivia pushed him and enters the room followed by his father.

"My God!! my daughter is looking so beautiful." Olivia said kissing her forehead.

"So true, sweetheart. You look like a Cinderella." Alexander said kissing her head and hugs her thus Xavier pulled back his father arrogantly.

"Remind you that she is my wife," Xavier said and his father rolled his eyes.

"As if you haven't tried to intimate with my wife. Cockblocker son." Alexander said with a faked anger and Olivia hit him with a hair dryer.

He winched in pain and glared at his wife. Eve was blushing hard and turns her face another side.

"Stop bickering both of you. And Alex, he is my dear son. Stop using bad words in front of Eve." Olivia said scolding him.

"Alright. I'm sorry. By the way Eve, your parents and Madison are also here." Alex said thus Eve instantly looked at him and shivers a bit.

"But why?" She asked lowly and Xavier wrapped his hand around her shoulder.

"Relax, baby. It just formality. They won't get any special treatment." Xavier said rubbing his hand on her arm.

"But.. but... what if they hurt me?" She asked fearfully and hides her face in his chest but he pulled her face.

"And do you think I will stand there and let them hurt you? Princess, I will become a nightmare for them and hunt them. Trust me." He said holding her face and she nodded her head.

He smiled a little and kissed her forehead. Alexander faked coughed and Xavier groaned turning toward them.

"What? I think something stuck in my throat." Alex said with a shrug.

"Right now, you're bone between me and my wife." Xavier snapped at him and he rolled his eyes.

"We are leaving. I don't want my party to get ruin because of you both." Olivia said pulling Alex out of the room and Xavier sighs in relief.

"Xavier, why do you fight with dad so much?" Eve asked with a frown and he laughed.

"Princess, it's nothing. We just love to pull each other legs. We never express our real feelings toward each other. When I was a kid, he used to be very protective of me. He never let a single scratch on my skin. As time passed, we started loving the bickering between us. We enjoyed it a lot." Xavier explained and Eve kissed his cheek.

"So sweet bond both of you share. I'm sure our baby and you will also share the same bond." Eve said with a bright smile and he laughed hugging her.

"I am sure too." He said kissing her hair and tightens his grip around her.

"Xavier, did you arranged cake?" She asked breaking the hug.

"Yes, your favorite chocolate cake." He replied with a chuckle and her eyes widens with twinkles.

"Chocolate cake. Oh, God!! Xavier, I can't wait to eat it." She said licking her lips making him laugh a loud.

"Just a few minutes then we will be down with everyone. And wait... I forgot to give you this." He said pulling out a velvet box from his pocket and handed her.

She opens the box and a loud wow escaped from her mouth seeing beautiful diamond necklace.

She touched the necklace but instantly pulled back her hand afraid to damage it. it was so so so beautiful and looking expensive then she read Tiffany & Co.

"What does it's the cost?" She asked looking at him.

"You don't want to know it. Turn around." He said turning her toward the mirror and grabbed the necklace then made her wear it.

"It's a beautiful but I want to know it's price. Please..." She said touching the neck and he kissed her shoulder then looked in her eyes through the mirror.

"87000 $." He whispered in her ear and she gasped in horror.

She covered her mouth with her palms and then tried to speak but words stuck in her throat.

"I don't want to wear it, Xavier. I am so clumsy and will damage it or lose it." She said turning toward him while he shook his head.

"I don't care what you do with it. You're my wife and I want to give you everything that you deserve. I still felt this necklace is cheap. I want to give you more expensive but in the short time I got this only." He said touching her neck and she hit his mouth.

"No, it's hell expensive for my pocket. Thank you so much, Xavier." She said getting emotional and he hugs her.

"Princess, I love you so much and I will always do my best for you." He said kissing her head and she snuggled herself in his chest.

I swear I couldn't love you more than I do right now, and yet I know I will tomorrow.
