As the car halted on the road Evelyn glued her eyes on the shining street of New Jersey. A few days ago she was living a bachelor's life and within a second everything changed and today she was married to a man whom she least know. The only thing she knows that he is an arrogant, ruthless billionaire who doesn't care about anyone. She put her hand on the glass window and caressed the image of buildings that were quickly moving along with their car. She hasn't spoken a word to him nor had he uttered a word to her.

"We reached." His husky voice ringed in her ear and she instantly turns her face but only finds his face inches away from her.

He glanced at her parted lips and urges to savor them again while her cheeks turn pink due to their proximity. He pulled back and cleared his throat before going out of the car. One of the guards opens the door and Xavier forwards his hand to her thus she hesitantly gave her hand in his hand and comes out of the car. She looked up and found a huge building where she was going to live with him soon.

"Everyone come here," Xavier called the entire bodyguard.

They all comes and stood in front of them.

"Guys, meet my wife Evelyn Knight. She is free to roam in the entire building." Xavier said in a stern voice while Evelyn was looking at him with wide eyes.

They agreed and went back to their place. He put his hand on her back and led her toward the elevator. All of a sudden she was feeling scared and nervous. He pressed the button and the elevator started going up. Soon it's stopped and they come out of it. He put the password and unlocks the door.

"Welcome to my penthouse and from today yours too." He said welcoming her and she roamed her eyes all over in the beautiful house.

He held her hand and showed her kitchen then a terrace which was attached to the living room side and took upstairs.

"Evelyn, this is your room. I know you are still uncomfortable in my presence and I also care for my privacy so I am giving you a new room. Your luggage is already inside. Let's go." He explained thus she nodded her head.

She pushed the door and enters the room followed by him. She covered her mouth seeing such a beautiful and modern bedroom. It was bigger than her previous one. The large windows were giving a whole city view which was making it look more beautiful.

"I guess you like it. Make yourself comfortable and feel free to ask anything. I am next door to you." He said and turns to go.

"Xavier..."

He stopped hearing his name from her mouth for the first time. It was the first time he was hearing his name from her mouth and her voice, it's so melodious. His name sounds so beautiful and sexy from her mouth. He turns toward her as she was already looking at him. She stepped forward and wrapped her hands around his neck thus starlets him a bit.

"Thank you for understanding me." She mumbled breaking the hug and moved away from him.

"You know we both married out of love but it doesn't mean it's going to like this for years. Apart from my mother; you are the only woman whom I let you in my life. Evelyn, I am a very possessive man and I will go mad if I see you with any other man. Please, don't ever raise my anger that will lead us to something." He said in an extremely possessive tone thus she shivers a bit hearing his words.

"I promise." She could utter only these words.

"Then I promise too that there will be no other women in my life except you. Now let's seal the promise." Saying this he smashed his lips on her.

She clutched his coat and tried to kiss him back but he was not letting her do. She slowly tried to copy him by doing the same which makes him smile at her futile attempt. He bites her lips and moved his tongue in her mouth. She moaned as he sucked her tongue and tasted every corner of her mouth. They broke the kiss feeling out of breath and panted hard. He opens his eyes and notices her red cheek due to their kiss.

"You're looking beautiful in this wedding  dress. Fuck... I want to so take you to the bed and make love all the night." He said inhaling her sweet fragrance and kissed her jaw.

Before he could proceed further his mobile rings making him groaned.

"It's better to be important Mrs. Moore." He snapped angrily and walked out of her room.

Evelyn took a deep breath and went to check the bathroom which was also big along with a huge bathtub. She took her luggage and walked inside the closet. Before she starts arranging her clothes; she needs to come out of this wedding dress. She opens her bag and looks for her night dress.

"Are you done with unpacking?" Xavier barged in the closet from nowhere.

She jumped a little and put her hand on her chest.

"Um.. no. I just started it." She replied pulling out her nightdress.

"Then don't unpack it. I have a conference to attend in London. So we are leaving in an hour. Change yourself into something comfortable." He answered her while texting on the mobile.

She let out a growl before pulling out a summer dress while he went from there. She changed her wedding dress and placed it on a stool. She closed her bag and walked out of the room. She went downstairs and saw him already with his bag. How can he be so fast in doing packing? She thought herself then brush off those thoughts.

"Are you hungry?" He asked looking up to her but mesmerized by her beauty.

Her stomach growl and she bites her lips in embarrassment. He chuckled before getting up from the couch and walked inside the kitchen which she followed him.

"Let's see what we have in our magic box?" He joked opening the fridge.

She stood beside him and looked inside and found a strawberry jam bottle and packets of bread. She pulled out them which he groaned and closed the fridge.

"Seriously? You want to eat this strawberry jam." He asked pointing his finger at the bottle.

"It's in your fridge." She raised her brows and applied jam on a slice of bread.

"I don't know why the hell Amelia bought it. And don't get any wrong idea. Amelia is a house keeper." He rolled his eyes and she chuckled before stuffing that bread in his mouth.

"We don't have much time so eat it. We can eat something on the plane. Right." She said eating the bread and jam which he chewed the food unwillingly.

Once both done they come out of the kitchen while he turns off the lights. They walked out of the house and went down in the elevator. They get inside the car and he asked the driver to drive to the airport. After 20 minutes they reached and got out of the car. She didn't get much surprised seeing his private jet as she can't easily forget that she married a billionaire.

"Let's go." He said placing a hand on her back and they climbed the stairs.

They were greeted by the pilot.

The pilot smiled at them and says, "Welcome Mr. Knight and Miss..."

"It's Mrs. Knight." Xavier snapped thus he flinched back a little but compose himself.

"Welcome Mrs. Knight." He says quickly.

"You go inside while I will have a few words with him," Xavier said pointing at the entrance and she nodded her head and went inside while he started talking to him about a safe ride.

He walked inside and takes a seat beside her. He helped her tying seatbelt and assured her. Soon the plane takes off and they're in the sky with the clouds. They removed their seatbelts and she relaxed on the seat.

"Are you alright?" He asked that she nodded her head positively.

"How much time it will take?" She asked opening her eyes.

"A few hours. Do you want to eat something?" He asked taking out his laptop.

"No. That bread and STRAWBERRY jam helps me a lot." She replied but stressing the word strawberry which groaned and glared at her.

"Don't ever say that word. I hate it." He made a face and she laughed pulling his cheeks.

"But I love strawberries." She giggled winking at him and he sharply looked at her then smirk.

"One day sweetheart... one day... I will make you eat strawberries in such a way that you won't like the other way to eat them." He whispered in her ear and an instantly pink hue appears on her cheeks.

She covered her face between her palms while he laughed at her cuteness. He shook his head and turns on the laptop while she pulled out her iPod and plugged in-ear.

She stirred in sleep and lazily opens her eyes rubbing them softly. She looked around and instantly sits up finding herself in an unknown room. She looked out of the window and sighs in relief seeing the sky. She got down from the bed and walked out of the room. She found him sitting on a couch with his laptop and went there.

"You are up? Feeling better?" He asked without looking at her.

"How much I sleep?" She asked back sitting beside him.

"Two hours. Do you want to eat something?" He asked lifting his face to look at her.

"But I want to use the washroom first." She replied with a shrug and went to the washroom.

He called an attendant and order food for them. After a few minutes, she comes back and sits beside him. The flight attendant comes with a tray and placed in front of them.

"See, no strawberry food." She teased him and he growls closing the laptop.

"You loves going in my nerves. You should be thankful that I am behaving well with you otherwise my employees know what they will get if they continue to mess with my mind." He states stern voice.

"I am not your employee. Right." She said feeding herself and he too starts eating the food.

"Of course not. You are my wife. Even though I want to keep our relation hidden; it doesn't change anything." He shrugged.

"I thought you wanted me to attend parties and some shitty events but glad that you decide to keep it hidden. If the news of our wedding comes out then my friends won't see me as their friend and I don't want it. I want to live like a normal person till I finish my study." She explained.

"You are free to live the way you want but just keep informing me before going out. And I will be always there for you so I am just a call away." He said kissing her forehead and she nodded her head positively.
