Xavier stopped the car in their parking lot and got out of the car. Eve also got out of the car and saw him standing there waiting for her. He started walking and she followed him like a lost puppy. They enter the elevator and he punched on the floor number a little harshly making her flinched back in fear. She bites her inner cheek and played with her fingers nervously. Tears were already formed in her eyes seeing his cold behavior. As the elevator stopped he got out and she followed him. He walked into the kitchen and she followed him there. He drank water from the fridge and come back to the living room and sat on the couch crossing his hands on his chest.

"Xavier, I was about to tell you bu.."

"When Evelyn?" He shouted making her jumped back in fear.

She knew she did a big mistake because he called her Evelyn. He stood up from the couch and strode toward her and held her arm harshly.

"Don't... don't you dare you to lie me, Evelyn. You were working in a fucking café. A café. Why?" He asked angrily and tears rolled down from her eyes.

"I.. th.. I have t.. to pay m.. my fees." She said sobbing a little.

"Yeah right. Your fees. And apart from your husband who am I?" He asked raising his brows.

She didn't say anything but just cried and he groaned.

"Evelyn, I am fucking Billionaire. I owe more than half of the property of the USA. My business is wide spared in the whole world. And you are my damn wife. You are a Billionaire's wife and you are working in a café. Why? Tell me Evelyn why?" He roared throwing a vase on the wall and she cried hard.

"I don't want you to think that I married you for money." She said crying and he clutched his own hair out of frustration.

"For God's sake, Evelyn I said sorry for that. I was wrong about you and I accepted my fault. After that day did I treated a different way? Tell me, Evelyn." He asked grabbing her arms and made her look in his eyes.

She could see anger in his eyes but more than the anger he was in pain and she was the reason behind his pain.

"Evelyn, do you trust me?" He asked with hurt and she was taken back by his question.

"Xavier, I trust you." She replied touching his cheek but he jerked her hand and moved away from her.

"No, you don't trust me. Because if you trust then you wouldn't compare me with your father. You think that I won't pay your fees like your father." He said painfully and collapsed on the couch and she rushed to him and sat on her knees.

"Xavier, don't compare to you with him. You are nothing like him. I am sorry for not telling you about it. I am sorry. Please." She said holding his hand and cried but he pulled back his hand.

"I can't forgive you, Evelyn. You hurt me. You doubted my trust and love. I told you that you are my life still you didn't trust me. I need some time." He said getting up from the couch and left the house leaving her in a pool of tears.

She knew this day would come but never thought that it was going to be this much painful. She dragged herself to their room and throws on the bed crying hard.

At late night Xavier returns home and found her sleeping on the couch. She must be waiting for him. He sat on his knees and traced his fingers on her cheek where her tears dried. He knew he was harsh on her but she had to understand that he isn't joking around her. She was his life and he loves her more than anything. He took her in his arms and walked into their room. He covered her with a quilt and kissed her forehead then walked into the closet. He packed his clothes and left from there.

Next Day

Eve opens her eyes and sat on the bed. Her eyes were swollen, her hair was messy and she was still in yesterday's clothes. She slept in the living room then how did she come here. Xavier, he must have bought her to the room then where is she? She got off the bed and checked the bathroom but he wasn't there. She went to the closet and took out her clothes but accidentally her eyes fell on his side and found a few clothes missing. She ran out of the room and went downstairs to the living room.

"Dylan, Joshua, Jaxon, Harry..." She screamed loudly.

Dylan and Jaxon who was out of the door come into the house hearing her screamed.

"Mrs. Knight, what happened?" Jaxon asked worriedly.

"Where is Xavier?" She asked as tears foamed in her eyes.

"Mrs. Knight, he went to France last night," Dylan replied thus tears rolled down from her eyes.

She sat on the couch and started crying loud making him more worried. Xavier was also not in town and here she was crying hysterically. Jaxon thought something and called Alexander.

After half an hour Olivia and Alexander rushed into the house. They saw Eve crying and Olivia ran to her.

"Eve, oh my God!!! My daughter, what happened to you? Why are you crying?" She asked worriedly and Eve hugged her tightly.

"Mom... Xavier left me. He is angry with me." She cried in her arms and Olivia looked at her husband shockingly.

"Eve, tell me what happened between you both?" Olivia asked breaking the hug and cupped her face.

Eve sobbed hard and told him everything that happened between them. Alexander shook his head in disbelief and sits beside her.

"Xavier is right in his place. Eve, you did a big mistake this time. You should tell us about your problem. You are Xavier's wife and our daughter. We all love you Eve and we cared for you." He said caressing her hair and she cried hard.

"I am sorry, mom dad." She said sobbing and they hugged her together.

"It's ok my child. Now leave Xavier on me. You did a mistake but he did a big mistake by leaving you alone. He should stay by your side and make you understand but he chooses to leave you. Don't worry about him. I will take his class." He said ruffling her hair and Eve nodded her wiping her tears.

"Now go and get fresh up. Today I will make breakfast for my favorite daughter." Olivia said kissing her forehead.

"Strawberry milkshake?" Eve asked in a low voice.

"Yes, my baby. I will make your favorite strawberry milkshake too. Now go and get fresh up. My baby cried a lot today." Olivia said in a sweet voice and she bobbed her head.

She got up from the couch and went to her room. Olivia looked at her husband and went closer to him.

"Call your son now. I don't want to see her crying anymore." Olivia said worriedly.

He nodded his head and she went to the kitchen. He walked to the terrace and called Xavier but his phone was unreachable. He then called Mrs. Moore and she informed him that he went to France for an important deal. Alexander got angry at his son because for him the deal was more important than his wife.

Three Days Later

Eve comes downstairs and saw Amelia and Dylan waiting for her. Xavier still didn't contact to after their fight and that's hurt her the most.

"Madam, your breakfast is ready," Amelia said with a smile.

"I don't want to eat anything, Amelia." She said in low voice.

"But madam you also skipped dinner last night. Please, at least have breakfast." Amelia insisted on her.

"Amelia, I said I don't want to eat then why do you not understand. You just mind your own work." Eve snapped at her angrily.

Amelia was taken aback by her outburst and decided to keep mum. She knew she was very upset this time and Xavier was also not at home. She always saw her crying at any time.

"Mrs. Knight, shall I drop you at public transport?" Dylan asked.

"No, drop me to the college." She replied walking out of the house and he followed her.

They got out of the elevator and she sat inside the car. Dylan sits in the passenger seat and Joshua started driving the car. After half hour they reached college and she comes out of the car. All the students were looking at her shockingly and mostly her classmates. It was a shock for them to see her coming out of a highly expensive car. She walked into her class and Bony's face lit up seeing her after almost four days.

"Eve, what happened? Are you alright?" Bony asked holding her hand.

Eve didn't reply just hugged her best friend and Bony understand nothing is good between her and Xavier.

"I hurt him, Bony. He thought I don't trust him. He left me alone." She said crying and Bony wiped her tears.

"It's ok Eve. He will come back to you as soon as his anger will get down." Bony said making her understand and she nodded her head.

Soon their class started but Eve was least interested in the lecture because her mind was just roaming around her husband. After the class, they got out of the car and started walking toward the canteen when someone stopped them.

"Hey, Victor..." Bony said hugging him.

"Hey, bony. Hi Evelyn." Victor said and about to hug him but she moved away from him.

"So how's your trip to Barcelona?" Bony asked gaining his attention.

"It was good. Eve, I want to ask something you." Victor asked nervously.

Eve just nodded her head absentmindedly.

"Will you go on date with me?" He asked scratching the back of his neck.

"You want to go on date with a married girl. Are you mad? Can't you see this ring on my neck? For God's sake, stop it. I know you liked me from the start but I love my husband." She said angrily showing her ring and ran from there.

"Bony, I am actually sorry. I don't she got married." Victor apologized.

"Victor, it's ok. It's not your fault. No one actually knows that she is married. It's just something happens that's why she is upset." Bony exclaimed.

He nodded his head and they both followed her but she was already left from there. They sigh and went back to the class.

At Evening

Amelia enters the kitchen and puts the vegetable bucket on the kitchen slab. She walked to the fridge but collides with something and fell down on the floor. She winched in pain but her pain subsides seeing Eve lying on the floor lifelessly.

"Madam... open your eyes. Madam..." She patted her cheek but she didn't open her eyes.

She got up and rushed outside for help.

"Dylan, Joshua please come here. Something happened to madam." Amelia said panicky.

They rushed into the kitchen and found her unconscious. Dylan took her in his arms and walked out while Joshua called Alexander first.
