Another chapter- today i was late coz my daytime internet is not working, it works at night and again after magrib I was reading the Quraan so sorry for the late update! :)

Okay Kaif,in 5, 4, 3, 2, RUN! 

I sprinted out of the kitchen laughing at Hasti as she tried to get ice cream out of her mouth. 

Okay so this is what happened: When i was making both of us ice creams I might have added a little bit of lemon. Okay maybe alot of lemon in it. Just imagine, chocolate with vanilla and strawberry along with lots of sour lemon? Yeah...

"Kaif- *Coughs* Sha- *Coughs* haan!" she yelled in between coughs. 

I laughed at her but went to give her water. 

"Drink it and it will be fine, queen!"I said to her

She growled

"Woah there, lil tiger, stop growling and drink it" I said to her 

she sighed and took the glass. She drank the water and smiled. 

'You know, even after playing a prank you are still nice?" she said to me

I grinned. 

"Runs in the family!" I said to her

Just then ammi and Zak entered the kitchen. 

"What was the shout about Hasti?" asked ammi

"Ah.. nothing!" she replied smiling at ammi

ammi gave her a "are-you-mad" look but did not say anything. 

"OHHHH ice cream!!" squealed Zaki looking at Hasti's ice cream

Hasti put her hand forward to stop him but I stopped her. 

"Hasti- chill! Calm down!" I said to her and she gave a pity face to zaki. 

Zaki took the spoon and took a bite. then another and after a few bites, the taste of lemon made its magic. He was screaming on top of his voice. 

"YUCK, EWWW!" he screamed searching for water as hasti handed him the water. 

I laughed. laughed so hard that I bet ammi thought I was mad. 

"Kaif that was not funny!" said Hasti looking at me with a stern face. Her hands on her hips, her lips in a thin line and her eyes dancing devilishly

"Oh right-" I siad to her sarcastically staring back in her green eyes

"What was in that again?" asked ammi 

I did not cut off our staring contest and answered her

"Lemon ammi" i replied 

"Kaif, we don't have normal lemons in the house" she said 

"Then?" I asked her stilling staring in Hasti's green eyes. 

"That was the small lemons, the ones that cut all taste buds in ones mouth after consumption" said ammi 

"WHAT?" yelled Hasti breaking the eye contact

"HA! I won!" I said to her and she just shrugged me off

"How long" she asked ammi

"For about a day!" ammi replied

I laughed. 

"Its not funny! I can't taste my effing food and you are laughing!" she semi yelled

"Oh yeah.... maybe "Queen of Idiots" thats why I am laughing!" I said to her

She grabbed the nearest long wooden spoon and held it up. 

I sprinted out of the kitchen. 

'AMMMIII" I yelled for ammi's help but ammi shook her head. 

"Your fight!" she said as she set on the spinning chair looking at our fight. 

I ran out to the living room with Hasti hot at my heels with a wooden spoon. 

I ran around the living room couch and then down to the dining hall. 

She reached up and actually hit my shoulders with the spoon and I ran around the dining table. 

'Kaif stop!" she siad as she stopped near the table

"What can't catch me?" i asked her and she growled

"No Kaif, I can't run anymore!" she replied 

I stood there staring at her. 

She, suddenly, leaped up and hit my head with the spoon. 

"Thats what you get for making Zaki eat that thing!" she smirked

 I rubbed my head. 

"That hurt!" I said to her 

"Oh yeah well this will hurt even more!" with that she ran around the table to me. There was a wall on my right and she was on my left so...

I ducked under the table and went out the other side. 

I waved at her as I sprinted to the next stop; My Room. 

Ammi was laughing at us and Zaki seemed to be enjoying my ice cream. 

Oh great!

I locked my rooms door as I set on the floor leaning on my door laughing at our childishness. 

Woah- what was wrng with me? I never laughed this way before!

My stomach did the flips and flops that were completely unknown to me. 

"What was that?" I asked myself

No answer. Ohhkkkaayy.... 

I got up and went for a long bath hoping all this weird emotions will go away. 

Unfortuanutly even after a long shower, my emotions did not go away. 

What was going on with me?!?! 

My heart began pumping blood too fast and my head throbbed. 

I set on my bed as I recalled all the verses of the Quraan I knew from Ayatul Kursi to Surah Kauthar* 

It calmed me down somehow and I got up to pray Zuhr. 

I did my whudhu and then prayed my Zuhr namaaz. 

I concluded my prayer asking Allah's forgiveness in anything and everything. 

I got up ad folded the prayer mat and left it in the closet. 

I walked downstaris after that to see ammi. 

"Hasti your sisters are nice people!" said ammi 

I walked in the living room, dialling Rahul's number. Rahul was my Marketing manager. 

'Ammi where-" I said when I heard squeals. My eyes shot up and I noticed the presence of two girls in the house. 

"Ah.. As salam u alaikum" I said to them

they smiled and muttered their replies. 

"Ammi who are they?" i asked ammi 

She glared at me but answered anyway

"Hasti's elder sisters, this is a.." said ammi looking at the girls seated. 

They had no hijab and they were Hasti's sisters. 

Hasti- however her name sent those butterflies- that I had no idea lived in my stomach by the way- all over the place. 

The first one was wearing a short dress with her haid open, the second one was wearing the smae thing with her hair tied up. 

I shifted my gaze to Hasti as emotions flashed away from her eyes. 

I smiled at her and she gave me a smile that however did not go to her eyes. 

"Hy I am Aina, as in mirror!" said the one with open hair extanding her hand. 

I smiled at them and nodded but did not shake hands. Against my rules. 

"Well then, hello there, I am Kaiinaat as in Universe!" said the other one extanding her hand. 

I smiled but did not shake hands. Again: Against my rules

"So why are you both here?" I asked them

Ammi glared at me and Hasti smirked 

Yup, that smirked that i lov- like 

"Ah.. came to meet our best sister of course!" said I think Kaiinaat. 

Hasti grunted but covered it up with a cough. 

"Ah Hasti I think there are things you need to clear up in the study!" said Zaki coming in the living room but upon seeing the people he stood behind me

"Uh yeah.. I will just do it-" said hasti as she got up. 

"Hasti?" i said to her ignoring all the shivers that ran down my spine when i said her name. 

"Yeah?" she asked 

 "Talk to your sister and please tell them to stop staring at me like I am a piece of meat" I said to Hasti

Her sisters were actually staring at me since i came here. 

Hasti laughed. 

"I told ya they were bloodsuckers, i don't know how they found me" she said 

I gave her a confuesed look. 

'Don't you think they can hear you?" asked Zaki being the sensible one

Hasti grinned

"Nope, they can speak and understand basic english which includes, intro and greetings otherwise they only understand hindi" replied Hasti

"Oh thats why you were speaking so freely?" asked ammi and Hasti nodded

"Okkkaay time to get them going!" said Hasti as she clasped her hands. 

"Ah... Kainaat and Aiina, I think you btoh should leave!" said Hasti smiling at them. 

They gave Hasti weird looks meaning they did not understand. 

Hasti started off in Hindi. Trust me hre Hindi is pretty good. 

"Kainaat, Aiina, ab aap doono koh apne tashreef lekar jaana chahiye, Masi aur sab koh bahaar jaana hai!" she said meaning "Kainaat, Aiina, Its time for both of you to leave, masi and the rest have to go somewhere!" White lie!

I grinned at her. 

The girls stood up and walked out with ammi and Hasti. 

Zaki sighed beside me and I grinned even more. 

When they returned I set oppostie Hasti. 

"Aunt I am so so sorry they came, I really do not know how they got my address, i mean this address" she said looking down at the rug

"Its fine dear, as long as you are safe!" said ammi

What did ammi mean by safe?

I was about to ask when the doorbell interupted me. 

"I will get it" said Zaki as he jogged over to get the door. 

Soon there was laughter and voices of male and female. Sikh languages. 

"Oye hoeh hoeh Didi!" said Mrs. Chadda coming in the view. Mr and mrs Chaddah were our next door neighbours. We had quite a good family bond. 

"Aye Shammy!" said ammi grinning at Mrs. Chaddah. 

Soon ammi, mr and mrs Chaddah launched into a talk and Zaki and their son Sam were talking. 

That left me and Hasti. 

I turned to Hasti and she was in her thinking mode, grinning at something- I really don't know what-

"WHAT?" asked ammi that caused all of us to look at her

"Look Raiika, I know its hard and all that but we have to go- he got a job and we are moving but-" said Mrs Chaddah "I assure you the new neighbours will be perfect and they are muslims too!" 

Ammi looked at them with tearful eyes. 

Mrs Chaddah hugged ammi and they had their heart to heart talk. You see, ammi got along with everyone in this community so yeah she was well known and loved. 

Soon The Chaddah's had to go assuring ammi that they would have dinner with us before they leave which will be in exactly a week, a few days after christmas. 

"Ammi-" I said as I got up

"Hmm?" she asked me browsing through the tv looking for her indian shows. 

"I am going for Asr prayer, will be back after magrib since I will be gone to the office, need anything?" I asked her

"No dear, ask Zaki and Hasti" she said and I nodded

"Zakiiii" I yelled for him

"yes bhai?" he asked coming out of the hallway

"You need anything?" I asked him and he shook his head

"HHAASt-" I started to yell

"I am right behind you!" she replied calmly

"Oh right!" Is aid turning to her "Do you want anything from the shops?" I asked her

"Actually you can drop me at the mall-" she said but I stopped her

"No- don't want you in jail again!" I said to her

"No I promise to be good!" she replied 

"Don't you have prayers to attend to?" i asked her 

"No I can't pray so let me go!" she said 

Ohkkay! 

"Fine but on one condition!" I said to her

'What?" she asked 

"You have to go with Caspian and River" I said to her

"Who are they?" she asked 

I smirked. 

"You will see!"
