When you love someone and they go away- it pains- it hurts but we hve to learnto move on!  Am i right?

I stared at him. 

"Bhai you were busy and hurt by your problems, how could i tell you that time? With Hasti bhabhi and ammi in the mess, i dont thing it was a good idea so i didnt. I had no idea when i return this- this whole mess will be created." he said, his eyes watering with every word. 

I soghed as my hands went over his body and i hugged him

"Its okay- everything will be fine-" i said to him

By now he was crying.  I bet zay does not cry like this. 

I rubbed his back gently and Hasti stood beside me. 

Our reception was tomorrow and this was going to be a long night.

"Zaki- shall we leave?" asked Hasti and Zaki nodded. 

We walked out of the park.  12.09am.that late and ammi is gonna kill me!!

"what will we tell mah?" asked Hasti

"Truth" replied Zaki

I sighed again

"Zaki you have no idea what she will do if she finds out" I replied running my hand through my hair. 

"I know bhai- but there is a reason why it happened nah?" he questioned me

"Zaki we can-t" I said and he shook his head.

"I am telling her the truth." he said and with that he strode into the house. 

I made a silent prayer.

Ya Allah please let everything be okay!!!!

"Kaif- let him do it, he is a strong guy" said Hasti taking my hand in hers as we walk into the house.

"Ammi we need to talk" stated Zaki as he stood infront of the kitchen counter.

"Sure" came ammis reply and then she walked out of the kitchen. 

We set in the living room.  Zaki opposite ammi, me beside Zaki and Hasti behind me with Zay. 

"Ammi i dont know what you will say to this but- here goes nothing!" said Zaki and he took  a deep breath. 

"Ammi i fell in love- deep and enotionful- 2 years ago-"he said

My mouth fell open. What?

"I saw her on my thrid year in Uni- yeah....." said Zaki and ammi grinned at him.

"She was..    Idk just amazing-i never felt like that ever in my life!'' he said looking down

"But things were not what it seemed to be- she has a son-" said Zaki looking up to see ammi.

Ammi had a shock and then a poker face on.

"I love Amna" said Zaki looking straight into ammis eyes waiting fir her reaction.

Ya Allah if she takes this much time in giving an answer- zhe is Maaadd!!!

"Ammi-" I said but she glared hard on the wall behind us.  If looks could kill- the wall would already have collapsed. 

"Bhai-" said Zaki inching closer to us. 

"Chill" i said putting my hand on his shoulders. 

He relaxed a bit but ammi did not seem to calm down. She was angry as- i am out of words!

"Ammi-" I said and she held her hand up.  Her eyes travelled to mefrom the wall

"Kaif-" she said, her voice dripping with anger-

"Yes ammi?" I replied knowing if i protest she would have us in another lecture!

"You always covered up for him- Always!" she said emphasizing the word 'always'

"But not today- Kaif he will have to answer each and every question! How dare he fall inlove with a Married woman!" said ammi

Woah what?

"Ammi what are you.....?" I asked ammi and she silent me

"Yes, she was married or how would Aaish come? He skurely did not fall from the sky!" said ammi

I stared at her

"Kaif- leave me and Zaki alone- we need to talk" said ammi and Zaki grabbed my hand. 

"Ammi can we talk with Bhai?" asked Zaki

Ammi glared at us but she gave up knowing whether she said yes or no,  i would stay. 

"Sit down both of you- Zay, Hasti- please leave us alone" she said to the girls who merely nodded and strutted away. 

I looked at ammi and she took a deep breath and turned to us. 

"Since when is this going on?" asked ammi

Zaki screwed his eyes shut and inhaled heavily. 

"2 years" he replied to ammi

"And she knew it all along?" Asked ammi

Zaki nodded. 

"Wereyou two ina relationship?" sheasked

"No" replied Zaki

"Then why the hell did you not tell us!?!!" questioned ammi calmly thoughher words gave up. 

"I am sorry mah- but you were already that hurt and i coykd not bear to see you hurt more- bhia was rarely here and wheni decided to tell you people, bhai had his problems and you had yours- yes i have seen you cry nultiple times mah and bhai i have seen you too-" he stopped before he said taking pills which i was glad off. 

Je let put a frustrated breath. 

"Mah all i wanted was a perfect life- but it turned around when i found out she had a son- yet i was ready to take him up- give my name and make them my family but no- she left me- she said she loved me but she left me all alone-" he said his voice dripping in venom in the last lines.

Ammi's eyes softened. 

She got up and walked to Zaki and higged him. 

"Its finedear- maybe Allah has better plans?" she whispered and zaki nodded 

I smiled. 

A mother will always be a mother no matter what!
