I stared at the screen presenting news live from India. 

The lady reporter. 

"So as you see that the people we respected the most- looked up to the most is into this! Mr. Rahaa whose wife went missing about 12 years ago- has now admitted to the High Court that he had had his wife raped and murdered brutally!" she said 

I turned around and saw Hasti making her way towards us. 

She stood beside me and my hand snaked around her waist. 

"The Rahaa family which has 3 daughters- Faiza, Kaina, Aiina and Hastiaza Rahaa, have completely abandoned the youngest sister who is no where to be found. All that is remained of her is the fact that she is happy in her new life- The other three father attached sisters are now facing legal authorities about their father's charges! On the other hand- Mr. Qaidr- the reknowned businessmanof Asia is under charges of illegal business such as girl traficking to Asia from India- he is also in charges with his wife and daughter- the charges were to put put up by his son, Adeer Qadir and his daughter Zayeeka Qadir. Police and Judical authorities are advising people to provide any information they find about Rahaa and Qadir! This is Sonia Singh live from India reporting for BBC!" said the host and then the commercials were on. 

I turned to Hasti who was staring in space. 

"Its okay" I whispered to her as ammi and Zaki came to us. 

Ammi hugged her and Zaki hugged both of them- soon Zay hugged all three of them and i was standing there looking at the family reunion. 

I sighed as i hugged them. After the long bear hug- Hasti broke it. 

"Zaki can we talk like now!" said Hasti and Zaki nodded. 

They both left for the terrace and I stood there with ammi and zay wandering what the hell was going on. 

"Kaif- You rmember Aaish?" asked ami as she walked towards the kitchen. 

"Yes ammi why?" I asked her following her to the kitchen with Zay who was confused

I turned to her

"Aaish is the son of our neighbour- he is 5 i think and so cute!" I said and Zay laughed

"Yeah- his mom?" questioned ammi picking out something from the fridge

I nodded

"She is getting married!" said ammi

I gave her a weird look. 

"say what?" I asked ammi 

"Yes- the guy is Paki- and Amna seems to like him as well so everything went good- and her wedding is a week later- next week" said ammi and i nodded

"Masha Allah- thats good news!" I said and she grinned. 

"Now we need to get ready for your reception here- and then help them in theirs!" she winked and then walked out. 

I turned to Zay

"So ready for your new life here?" I asked her

"Bhai i am not sure- I mean i am new and the people-" she said looking down

I hugged her

"Zay- your life- your ways- trust Allah for the best!" I said to her and she nodded

I let her go and we walked into the living room. 

Zay flicked ont he tv and watched some Korean drama's and i went back to my work- laptop work-

"Zaki wait!!" yelled Hasti and i looked up to see Zaki speed-walking out of the house with hasti running after her. 

I got up and stood beside hasti. 

"Hasti what happened?" I asked her

she turned to me wide eyed. 

"K-Kaif-" she stuttered as she shifted from one foot to the other

"Hasti what happened?" I asked her

"Ah- no-nothing" she stuttered again

"Hasti what happened?" I asked her calmly

"Zakilykezamnanhwewnttwooatreaskofsweelovadheem" she said in one breath. 

I stared at her. all i could get was Zaki. 

"Hasti- calm down and tell me!" I said to her 

"Kaif- first we need to look for Zaki please' she said 

I nodded and we walked out of the house. 

I tried his phone but it was switched off. 

I sighed and ran my hand in my hair.

I can't believe my brother can be so stupid! and my wife was with him the whole time not telling me a thing.

Hasti was walking around frantically. 

I grabbed her hand and made her stand still infornt of me. 

"hasti what happened?!!" I asked her frustratedly

I was helping her look for my brother without a reason! 

She inhaled a deep breath

"Ka-aif" she stuttered

"Hasti-" i said in a warning tone. 

"Kaif- Zaki- He-" she said as tears streamed down her eyes. 

"hasti why are you crying and what about Zaki?" I asked her

we were in the Woodside park- looking for Zaki- and in the middle standing like a lovely couple except she was crying and not smiling

"He loved Amna!" she spat out looking down wiping away her tears

I stared her in shock. 

What-The-Hell?

"Hasti that is plain stupid!" I said to her frustratedly. 

"No its not Kaif!" she semi yelled. 

Lucky the park was empty- hell who would be in the park after 9PM!?!

"Hasti- how- how long was this?" I questioned her

"About 4 months" she replied

"Say what?" I said to ehr confused

"4 months Kaif-" she replied

"But- But they shifted here a month ago-!" I tried to protest

"He liked her before- they go to the same collage!" she replied

My anger level hit a 100 degrees. 

He loved her and he did not bother telling his older brother?!? 

"Hasti- " I said to her clamly as possible 

"Hmm?' she replied, her voice sounded scared

"How long have yo known this?" i asked her as calmly as possible

"A month-" she replied 

Ya Allah! Please help me. 

"Hasti could you not have at least told me!?!" I questioned her, my hands cleching open and close in anger. 

"I could not! Kaif! He knew- He knew this would be your reaction when you found out! He KNEW THIS ALL ALONG KAIF!" she snapped at me

I was taken back. 

Instantly i calmed down. 

He knew- he knew i would never allow him to go the wrong way- If only i had been more of a brother to him! Damn. 

"Hasti any idea where he is?" i asked her calmly

She stared at me in shock

"One minute you are angry as a bulldog seeing its prey but not catching it and the next you are calm as an ocean- are you sure you are normal?!" she questioned me

I nodded

"I am normal- just realized how much of an elder brother i was!" I said the last part sarcastically . 

She leapt up and hugged me

"Kaif- we need to find Zaki before he does something stupid!" said Hasti after she let me go. 

I nodded

"You both seriously think i could do such a thing!?!" questioned a voice from the darkness. 

"Zaki?" i questioned

"Duh!" he replied walking into the light of the park. 

I walked to him and stood infront of him

At first i wanted to slap him so hard that he remembers that he is MY brother! but then again-t hat won't help. 

"where were you?" I questioned him

"Just here" he replied gesturing around the park. 

"Late at night?" I questioned him

"Bhai i needed to clear my mind-" he said 

"what happened?" I asked him

"Bhai i heard her telling you why do you want to hear it again?" he questioned me

"Because- I would like my brother to give me a reason for every of my questions!" I replied

He sighed as he set on the nearest bench. 

"Fine throw in your questions!" he said and i nodded taking a seat beside him

Hasti took the other space. 

"Why did you not tell me about her?" I asked him

He looked at me with glassy eyes. 

"Bhai- I- bhai-" he said unable to speak. 

I stared at him waiting for an answer....
