I sighed as I set up in the morning with my cup of Milo. Ammi was sitting with her cup of coffee along with Zaki and Hasti. Zaki is not alergic to that thing but I am, weird huh?

"Ammmmiiii" I whined 

She had us sitting inside the house for like ever! After Fajr, she told us, the snow was slowly melting, the sun was out and- she won't let us make snowmans! 

"No Kaif, I expect you to be more mature! You both cannot go out, its cold for Allah's sake!" she replied watching her Pakistani show. 

"By the way, what show is it?" I asked her 

"Humsafar" she replied 

I grinned. Humsafar was my ammi's fave,she loved it! Asher and i forgot the girls name- yeah them and ammi- perfect silence!

I took out my laptop from the bag on the table and set with it on the couch cross legged. 

I logged into my email and instantly mails flew in. Damn. 

Christmas mails, new year party invitations and what not. 

I then started off with the Reliance project. Since it was recently bought into Shahaan Industries, it needs to be recognised as one so yeah, I needed to do that. 

"Kaif-" ammi said after a while. 

"Yes ammi?" I rpelied still doing my work

"Why did you not go to decorate and organise your office party?"she asked me

"Ammi, you do know, I am not really into all that- plus Kiara will take care of all that!" I rpelied typing away. 

she was silent when she squealed again. I jumped up and saw her grinning to herself. I turned to the tv, the commercials were on so what made her happy?

"Kaif-" she said excitedly

Oh no!

"Yes Ammi-"I said looking at her and then Zaki who shook his head. 

"Can I have y our phone- I need to call some people!" she said grinning

"Ammi who can you call from my phone when the only numbers I have are professional?" I replied puzzled. 

"Yeah I need to call two professionals!" she replied

I gave her my phone and soon she was talking to some boys. 

"Yes.... es Dear, NO!!" she said and nodded and then hung up./ 

"What happened?" I asked her

"You all are oging to help in the community new year decors!" she said smiling. 

Zaki goaned, I stared at her in disbelief and Hasti chuckled. 

"ome on, go now! Its already 9am, there is alooott to do!" she shoed us out of hte living room. 

"Ammi let us change and then we will go!" I said and she nodded

% minutes later we were standing infront of Caspian, River and Ray along with Zander, my bodyguards. 

What- the hell?

"Boys what are you doing..?" I trailed off when River spoke

"Ms. Shahaanc alled us, we going with you people to the decorations and all-" he said and I goaned. 

Not again! I can't believe ammi could do such things!! 

"come on!" I said as we all walked towards the community hall.

I liked Caspian, though he was all serious all the time,River made him laugh. 

3  hours later, there was chaos. 

Some yelled, hang that there, other yelled get food orders. 

I sighed as I set on the stage running my hands in my hair. 

"Tired?" said hasti sitting beside me. 

"Yeah... can't believe its new year already!" I said and she smiled. 

"Yeah..." she said looking away. 

I turned to her. 

"Seriously what do you want for new year?" I asked her 

she smiled. 

"I want is for you to be safe! always-' she whispered. 

what was that about?

"Okay, i will be safe but what do you actually want?" I asked her laughing

she gave me a small smile. 

"Thats my wish Kaif- be safe" she said 

I was about to protest when Amna called her

"Hasti didi!!" she yelled 

"Kaayyyeefff" i turned to see Aaish running towards me 

I grinned as I picked him up in my arms. 

"Hows the little buddy?" I asked and he giggle. 

"Don't spoil him" said Amna standing beside me with wrappers. 

"why not?' i asked her as Aish played with my hoodies ties. 

"Cos he is already spoilt and i don't want my child to be spolit more!" she replied

I gave her a puzzled look

I thought Aiish was Atif's son?

She grinned at Zaki and Hasti playing with baloons. 

"He is your son?" I asked her dumbly and she turned to me

"Yeah... actually more than my son, he is my everything!" replied Amna. 

What was going on? 

"Kaif haang this up there dear" said Mrs. Agarwall and then I went off to her with Aaish in my arms. 

I let Aaish do things and soon we were having fun until he started to cry. 

"mamamaaaa" he whined. 

Zaki and I were playing with him. Zaki had a baloon and Aaish was playing with it until he started crying. 

Amna ran towards us 

"Is he okay?" she asked worriedly picking him up from my arms 

"Yeah.. we were playing and then he started to cry-" said zaki smining at her. 

What was up with people?!!

"Amna your son is clearly not hurt, he was with me-" I siad when Zkai interupted me

"Your son?" he asked Amna and she nodded playing with aiish's hair. 

Zaki's facial features changed and then back to normal. 

He smirked. 

"No wander he cries alot, just like you!" he said and with that he broke into a run. 

Yup my bro. Amna ran after him with Aiish in her arms. Playful as ever but what was wrong with Zaki? 

Anyways..... Then it hit me, damn i needed to pick Hasti's gift from the store- I ran out and towards home. It was a 10 minute walk but I reached there in 5 as i was literally sprinting. The shops would close at 1pm and it was already 12.30! 

As soon as i was in hte gates of my house, I hopped into my SUV and drove off to the shop.
