Knock.. knock!!

I quickly opened my eyes as I used my hand to rub my face then I muttered;
Yes come in !

(The door slightly opened) Mina after you finished with  fajr  prayers and you decided to use your time to sleep check the time now! She said as she went straight to the windows and pulled the curtains up and the rays of sun echoed in the room making it really bright to which my eyes couldn't take as I used my hand to cover my eyes.. aunty Jameelaa!!! I groaned.

Come on get up!! She said nonchalantly.

Okay I'm getting up but first pull down the curtains please!! I pleaded which made her to stare at me with her hands akimbo..

Come on get up and stop all this your drama!! She said as she pulled the duvet off me.

Okay I'm up!! I said as I pulled myself from the bed and sat on it, before I forget aunty jamila I said as I pulled her to sit beside me..

There was a silence for awhile which I was still contemplating if I should tell her about my  date with Arya, when suddenly she cut my thoughts short.

Mina what is it? You know you can share with me anything which bothers you! She said fondling my hand.

I was still contemplating if I should when suddenly I decided to spill the beans..

I have a date this afternoon. I said in what seem like a whisper..

A date you said?? She asked as if she didn't hear what I just said..

" Yes aunt!"

" So tell me who is that lucky guy?" She asked with a sheepish smile.

" Ooh come on it is just a datee!! I said while pulling the "date"

"Okay just a date as you said Madam!!, So who is he?"

"Ooh he was a classmate of mine during our primary days, we got in touch recently at the program we had when was that?" I uttered.

" Ooh okay, now I remember then that was just recently you met him"
"Yeah it is" I mumbled.

"Okay have fun!"

"Thank you aunt"

"Mention not my dear, I will be here for you" she said as she pulled me into a hug.

Before I forget hurry up and come downstairs and have your breakfast before it gets cold!

"Okay I will be down shortly" I said as I quickly rose to my feet to which aunt Jamila also did and headed towards the door and closing the door behind her.

I went to the bathroom and took my shower, after that I put on a casual wear and headed downstairs and took my breakfast after which I headed to my parents room to greet them a Good morning.

"Assalamualaikum I said as I knocked on the door slightly"

"Wa'alaikum salaam warahmatullah wabarakaatuh" I heard my Mom's voiced out at the other side of the door, I gently opened the door and went inside Mom was reading a news paper.

"Good morning Mom" I said as I went closer to her and sat beside her.

" Good morning! My dear, how was your night" she ask as she kept the news paper aside.

" Fine mom" I said.

"I checked on you earlier this morning but you were still asleep. So have you taking your breakfast?.

" Yes mom I just did before coming here" I answered.

" Okay that's nice, hope you liked it" she asked again.

" Yes mom I really enjoyed it"

" Okay that's nice"

"Mom I would be in my room when you need me" I said as I got up from the bed.

" Okay" she said as she continued to read her news papers. Before I forget, when are you guys resuming school? She asked.

" That would be next week Insha Allah" I answered.

" Ooh okay, hope you are preparing to go back? She asked again.

" Yes mom, I'm preparing"

Okay that's nice.

" Less I forget Mom, I would be going out this afternoon to see a friend" I muttered.

" Okay but please don't be late!" She said as she diverted her gaze back to her news paper.

" Sure I wouldn't" I blurted.

I went back inside my room to call Hafsat to inform her about my date with Arya...

I dailed her number on the second ring she answered;

"Hello baby girl!!" She said with excitement.

Hi my sugar cane!!

How are you doing today? She asked
Well Alhamdulillah I'm doing well and you? I asked.

Alhamdulillah, so what do you have for me? She asked almost immediately

" Well nothing much" I blurted out

" Are you sure"? She asked.

" Yeah anyway do you remember Arya?"

Arya..Arya

Oh come on don't tell me that you've forgotten Arya from our primary school days!

" Ooh yes! I remember Arya now. Why you got in touch with him? She asked.

" Yeah I did, you remember the program we attended sometime ago at the hotel?"

" Yhyh"

Remember I last forgot my phone inside my car then rushed out to get it when I suddenly collided with him and that was it, I told her all that happened and the date we had because I couldn't hide anything from her...

" Wow that's nice, hope you would have fun this afternoon" she said sarcastically.

"Sure I would talk to you later"

The call ended and I got busy with other stuffs just to make the time reach fast thus by helping aunty Jamila in the kitchen and all the rest..

It was finally 12:30pm time for zuhr prayers I said as I withdrew myself from the kitchen counter and headed to my room and prayed and then I went to the bathroom to take a cool shower then got dressed into a perfect outfit  and was waiting on his arrival, I actually thought he wasn't coming again when suddenly I saw his call I then answered to which he told me he was right in front of my gate. I glanced at the mirror for the last time and went straight to the kitchen to inform aunt Jamila that I was leaving.

" Wow my dear you look absolutely stunning, I'm sure his mouth would go agape just by looking at you" she said sarcastically which made me bust into a scornful of laughter.
