The pasta was even better than she had imagined. Her man was an all rounder, good at business, good at cooking and most importantly he had the purest heart!

Her eyes glistened, her heart dwelling in the seventh heaven.

"I love you Neil, I love you so much. " she said holding his hands into hers satisfied with the life god had blessed her with.

Her life before meeting him was full of struggles, struggle of earning bread, money, her mom's treatment and on top of that she missed the feeling of having a family,  people who would care for you and love you.

But now when Neil was with her she just wished for a happy family, a happy fairytale ending for their love story as well.

They reached home.

"There's another surprise for you honey. " he whispered into her ears.

"Another surprise? I never knew my man is this romantic" she winked.

"So what is it Mr. Romantic Husband. "

He pulled her into the guest room, while she followed him excited about the surprise that awaited her there. 

On entering the room, she felt a lump clogging her throat "Amma" she muttered in a cracked voice and rushed towards her mother who was sitting on a wheel chair. She looked extremely pale and weak, yet an adorable smile adorned her face . She was a fighter and now she was back after winning her battle.

"I know Avni that every moment you've been in this house you've missed your mother tremendously, you might have shown that you're happy but deep down you were always tensed about your mom,  her well being. She is totally fine now and she'll live with us." Neil declared, while Avni's mother simply smiled at her son in law, no man could have been better for her daughter.

"Maa" he bowed down to the level of her wheel chair and produced a key from the corner of his pocket.

"This is yours." He put the keys in her hand , brushed his lips on her knuckles. "This is a gift to you from your son." She rushed her hands through his hair and blessed him with her blessings .

"Thank you so much, beta. I shall accept these keys only if you let me go and live in my own house. I'm totally fine now and even if death wants to find me , I would like to die in my husband's house. I would want my bier to be moved from my own house."

"This is also your own house Maa." Both Avni and her mother adored him whenever he referred to her as Maa.

He was so gentle while handling her maa, who would believe this is the same cold and heartless guy she was married to? Hash! No one, she laughed to herself .

"Avni tell Maa na she should live here with us."

"Neil I would have loved if maa lived here with us but I know it's no use trying to convince her she wont listen to me for sure. She ain't listening to her son and she'll listen to me. Good joke. I like it." She nodded her head and they all shared a small laugh.

"Acha bachas now it's too late I guess you both should go off to sleep now. I dont want both my bachas to look like zombies from horror movies with dark circles beneath their eyes. "

"Haan Maa we're heading towards our room only now."

Bedroom

"WHAT THE HELL! Are you kidding me." Neil exclaimed in excitement, while Avni looked at him astonished .

"Who is he talking on call?" She murmured to himself. 

"Are you serious? You're coming to meet me? Omge ." He screamed on top of his lungs .

"Girlfriend,  you cant even imagine how much I missed you. I wanna rush my fingers across your body."

Avni's eye balls widened, wtf? This man was speaking to his girlfriend infront of his wife. On top of that wtf was he wanting to do with those dayum fingers of his.

Avni gritted her teeth in jealousy and cracked her knuckles. "I will chop his fingers with my axe. Or better I'll chop him into tiny pieces and sell it off." She exclaimed angrily .

She moved towards the side table and picked up a knife from the fruit basket . She rushed her index finger through the edge of the knife, as the knife shined and her eyes glowed.

"This shall be the end of you Neil Khanna!"
