"Every single person on the Planet has a story. Don't judge people before you truly know them, the truth might surprise you." – A Life Quote

After my shift I take the rubbish out and put them in the big metal garbage bin in the alley. I open the door to the diner and lock the door. I switch the lights off in the kitchen.

I pull out a pair of sweats and a t-shirt from my locker.

I'm glad I have spare clothes in my locker.

I get changed into the sweats and t-shirt. I place my uniform and name tag on the table. I pick up my handbag and the few plastic bags I had in the locker. I pick up the key from the office and move around the diner locking the windows. I switch off the light and step outside.

Locking the door to the diner. I place the key under a rock in the garden. I take one last glance at the place I got a job at after I graduated from University.

I'm going to miss this place.

I sigh. I walk the three blocks to my place.

On the way home I see a black limo following me. I ignore the car as I continue my walk home. I hear a door open and I look at the limo.

Dex steps out of the car and walks over to me. "What are you doing walking home alone? Why didn't you run when you saw the car following you?"

I roll my eyes. "I've been walking these streets for the last four years without any incidence and now you show up wanting to protect me?" I turn away from him. "I DON"T NEED YOUR HELP!"

Dex puts his hand up. "FINE, I'll leave you alone. But, what are you going to do for work? You were fired."

You don't need to remind me.

I shrug. "That's my problem. Not, yours." I pull the thick envelope out of my bag. I throw it at his feet. "You can have that back."

I hear Dex climb into the car. I start walking the rest of the way home. I look behind me and see the car still following me as I walk the two blocks to my house.

At the apartment building I run to the door. I look through my bag. I hear someone approach and while I'm looking for the keys I pull out a can of pepper spray and spray it at the person.

The person screams.

I wince at the sound.

I should have looked to see who was coming after me.

My hands wrap around the keys and I look at the person I sprayed.

Dex is covering his eyes.

I unlock the door to apartment building. I pull Dex in with me. "You'll have to wash your eyes in my apartment."

Dex holds my arm as I lead his up the four flights of stairs to my apartment. I open the door and show Dex to the bathroom.

I leave him in there and walk to the kitchen to wash my hands.

The door to my apartment opens.

I should have locked that.

The guy from Lauren's apartment is standing across from me. He smiles. "I told you I'd be by tonight, didn't I sweetheart?"

I move toward the draw that has the knives in it.

"What are you doing inside my apartment?"

He smirks. "I'm going to claim you as mine, sweetheart."

I shake my head. "No,"

He laughs like a maniac.

At that moment Dex steps into the room. He looks between the guy and me. "Do you know him?" he asks.

I shake my head.

The guy looks at Dex. "Who the hell are you?" he turns to me. "How did you score a big hot shot like him? I knew you were a hooker, Bitch!"

Dex punches the guy.

I slide to the ground. I close my eyes and cover my ears with my hands. Tears fall from my face. I don't know how long I'm on the floor before Dex moves towards me.

He pulls me into his arms. "Shhh, I'm here, Ava."

Why did he help me out? Did he help me out because he wants me to sign the baby agreement?

Dex pulls out his mobile and calls someone. He puts the phone into his pocket. "The police will be here, soon. How did you meet him?"

I look at the ground. "I ran out of milk. So, I went across the hall to my friend's apartment and he was there. He told me was going to pay me a visit tonight. I didn't believe until he walked in."

He touches my arm and I pull away from him. "You're not staying in this apartment alone. So, you've got two choices come to my place or let me stay here with you."

I don't want him to stay the night and I sure as hell don't want to stay at his.

I sigh. "You can stay. I'll get some blankets for you. You're sleeping on the couch."

He starts complaining. "It's not going to be comfy sleeping on the couch. I have problems with my back."

I smirk. "Too bad, Big Boy. I haven't signed anything. So, I don't have to share anything with you." I walk to the hallway cupboard and I pull out the spare sheets and blankets. I take them to the couch and make it up for him.

The police show up while I'm making the bed. They tell Dex and I to come to the station tomorrow and leave them a statement of what happened tonight.

Lauren opens the door to her apartment. She rubs her eyes and looks at the guy. "Babe, what did you do?" she looks at me.

The guy looks at her. "I wanted to sleep with your friend. You weren't enough for me, baby. Besides, you're crap in bed. That girl probably knows how to please a man."

That's far from the truth. I'm still a Virgin. I didn't want to have meaningless sex with a stranger. But, Dex is making me change my mind about that.

I look at Lauren. "I'm sorry."

She wraps her hand around her body. "It's not your fault. I didn't know he was like that. I'm sorry he went after you."

I exit the apartment and hug her. "Please, don't blame yourself. I'm to blame. I should have locked the apartment door before I took Dex to the bathroom. He had to wash pepper spray out of his eyes."

Lauren laughs. "I didn't think you still carried that around with you."

I nod. "I never leave without it."

She looks at Dex. "What happened to the self-defense classes you took?"

I smile. "I use it when I need to." I look at Dex. "I didn't want to hurt him that badly. He got away with red eyes that's it. It should clear up before he goes to work on Monday."

Lauren yawns. "I'm going back to bed. I'll see you in the morning?"

Dex looks at her. "I'll take you both to breakfast in the morning. That's if you don't need to work..." he trails off.

Lauren looks at him. "... Lauren. No, I don't need to work tomorrow. Breakfast sounds wonderful."

Lauren closes the door to the apartment and I enter mine. I shut the door and pull the chain across. I lock the handle.

As I turn around I crash into what feels like a wall. I'm about to fall when Dex wraps his arms around me.

He pulls me flush against him.

I feel his erection press against my stomach. I push him away. "I'm going to bed. I'll see you in the morning."

Dex takes his jacket off and the thick yellow envelope drops on the floor. He picks it up and gives it me. "Have a look at it. If there's any changes you want to make we can discuss them before you sign the agreement."

I exit the room with the envelope and head to my bedroom where I pull my sweats, t-shirt and bra off and pull on some shorts and tank top. I climb into bed and pull the papers out.

The Billionaire's Baby Agreement

Name: Ava Montgomery
Age: 25
D.O.B.: 19th September 1990

1. Before the Agreement can get started Ava has to have a physical
2. During the time of trying for a baby Ava can stay at her place
3. Ava will have a full time job at Clarkson Inc. as Dex Clarkson's secretary for the duration of the pregnancy
4. When Ava falls pregnant she will move in with Dex.
5. During pregnancy Dex will show up to all appointments
6. After the baby is born Ava won't have contact with said child until the eighteenth birthday of said child.
7. Ava will receive a cheque of 1 Billion dollars to do as she pleases.
8. Leave blank for Ava.

I'm not ready to be a mother. But, I will give Dex a child. At least this way I can walk away and do whatever I want until I'm ready to become a mother.

I put the Agreement on the bed and I turn the lamp off and close my eyes.

The following morning I wake up at 8am. I climb out of bed and pull on some clean underwear and a black dress. I enter the bathroom and brush my hair.

I hear the toilet flush and Dex enters the bathroom. He washes his hand. He looks at me. "Did you look at the contract?"

I nod. "Yeah, I'm going to sign it tonight. I want to hold the child after the birth."

Dex smiles. "I can let you hold the child for a bit." He hugs me. "Thank you for agreeing to do this for me. I can't wait to be a father."

I look at the door. "I'm not pregnant yet. Besides you want me to have a physical before we try. I need to tell you something first."

He leans against the wall. "What?"

I look at the ground. "I'm a Virgin, Dex. Do you really want to have a baby with someone untouched?"

He throws his head back and laughs. "I never thought I would meet a woman that I wanted to have a child with still be a Virgin. It's unheard of nowadays."

"That's true. I just didn't want to lose my innocence to someone that was going to use me and dump me after he got what he wanted."

He runs a hand through his hand. "But, that's exactly what I'll be doing to you. I'll be using you for a baby and then dumping you after the baby is born."

I sigh. "I know. When it comes to you it feel right to do this. Besides, we'll be having sex with only each other right?"

Dex shakes his head. "I can't promise you that, Ava." He closes the bathroom door and traps me against the wall.

I lick my dry lips and look into the blue eyes of the man in front of me.

He lowers his head and claims my lips. His lips are soft.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he deepens the kiss. His tongue enters my mouth and he tastes like mint.

That kiss was incredible.

Dex pulls away breathing heavily. "I'm sorry." He walks to the counter and places his on it.

I open the bathroom door and walk away from him.

Someone knocks on the door and I pull it open to see Lauren's smiling face.

I smile.

She looks behind me. "Are we still going to breakfast with that hunky man you had with you last night?"

Dex enters the room. "Yes, we are. My driver will be downstairs in a couple of minutes. Then I can get to know the two beautiful woman in this room."

Lauren blushes. "Aw, you're sweet, handsome. I can't believe I didn't find you first."
