Today Ruqayyah was heading home- her place after like... 5 years? 

I was not letting her go alone- but she said she needs time to actually explain her parents her life up till now and she was not sure of their reaction- 

she said 'I do not want my husband to hear their negativity and fights' 

her words, not mine 

i set on the couch watching Tom and Jerry with Zahi and Zaik as Ruqayyah packed her things 

Zahi and Zaik did not want to go but after much convincing, they agreed 

on one condition: I call them every day- 

they will be gone for about a week- 

and yes, their parents are from Bloemfontein, and i did not trust that place

Heck Allah knows best what those people, my Ruqayyah calls family, are like!

Their flight was at 5pm today and it was already 3- they have to be early for check in 

"We need to leave!" i called out to Ruqayyah and she yelled back a 'Coming'

"I don't want to go!" whispered Zahi who was sitting beside me and i smiled at her

"I don't want you to go........ but as mama said- you need to go see your grandparents" i explained to her and she sighed 

Slumping her shoulders, she pouted

"Fine.." she muttered and Zaik shrugged

"I am not really into going to this place.." he muttered and i ruffled his hair 

"I love you both alot and i promise, nothing will happen to any of you- just go there and have fun!" i said and they nodded

I handed Zaik his PSP gaming device and Zahi, her coloring book 

we stood up and the kids ran into their rooms to grab their suitcases 

i locked the door and walked to Ruqayyah 

she was seated on the bed with her niqab in her hand, in a deep thought 

I set beside her and took her hands in mine 

her head snapped up and her eyes were glassy 

"Why are you crying?" i asked her softly and she shrugged

"Come on, tell me" i insisted squeezing her hands and she sighed

"I- don't want to leave this place......... and truth be told...... i don't know what will happen there-" she whispered leaning onto my shoulders 

"then let me go with you!" i said and she shook her head hastily 

"There is alot of explaining for me to do and if you are there- things will be alot more harder" she said and i sighed

"But what if they try to harm you? or the kids?" i growled and she rubbed circles on my hand

"No one will do that- and if they do, i know i have people to protect us- and i am strong enough to fight for my family!" she smiled at me and i mirrored her expressions 

"I guess you will be going?" i said and she nodded 

she put her arms on my shoulders and smiled widely at me

"Now when i am gone- stay around Shumayll, no fast food and no overtime- sleep on time and please be around ammi and abba-" she said and i grinned

"I don't want fast food when i have people to make me food, over-time, i don't guarantee and as for staying around ammi, abba and Shumayll- i am good-" i said and she nodded in relief 

'Oh and one more thing-" she said and i raised my eyebrow 

"Which is...?" i said and she grinned 

"Don't shower too much- learn to save water!" she winked and i laughed 

"Not guaranteed!" i joked and she smiled at me 

"I love you alot..." she muttered absentmindedly and i smiled at her 

placing my forehead on hers, i whispered a 'I love you more' 

she smiled and closed her eyes, breathing slow 

i touched her nose with mine and she giggled

Placing my lips on hers, i kissed her, like it was a goodbye kiss but not a farewell one- 

heat exploded through my body as i continued to kiss and devour her lips until she detached it to gain air 

"Can i leave now?" she asked me after a while of catching her breath and i nodded smiling at her swollen lips 

Glad i could do something besides have my claim on her 

"Oh and ammi would call you with regards of the Walimah- she wants it as soon as you return..." i said and she nodded

giving me another quick kiss on the lips, she stood up and tied her niqab 

"Okay-" she said and i pulled her into a hug 

"I will miss you" i muttered and she relaxed in my arms

"I will miss you too........ maybe a little more" she muttered and i chuckled

"Come on, we need go leave" i said as i removed my arms from around her body and she nodded 

she took her suitcase and dragged it behind her and when i tried to take it, she refused 

we walked downstairs silently and i knew she felt sad of going 

"As salaam......." she said as she walked into the living room and ammi stood up 

"You sure you will be okay? all alone?" asked ammi concerned and Ruqayyah nodded

"Yes ammi- i will be fine..." she replied and ammi nodded

the girls hugged her and abba stood infront of her smiling 

"Just know, whatever happens, one call- Ruqayyah- just one call and we all will be there for you- alright?" he said and Ruqayyah chuckled as she nodded

he hugged her and then we walked outside 

"Be safe!! and if my kids get hurt- i will personally kill your family!!" said ammi hugging the two kids and Ruqayyah laughed 

"Don't worry, i will keep them safe..." she said and ammi nodded

we got into the SUV and i strapped Zahi into the child seat

"Ready?" i asked Ruqayyah and she nodded

"I guess so" she replied 

we got in the SUV and i started off towards the airport 

the ride was silent- no one spoke and i did not want to speak anyway 

we entered the airport and the cold air hit me 

"Come on-" i said holding Zahi's hand as she pulled her little red and black suitcase that 'looked like spiderman' behind her

"All passengers boarding the South African 8223 to Bloemfatein, please make your way to gate number 6- i repeat" said the voice in the inter comm and Ruqayyah turned to me and the kids 

"Thats our flight-" she said and i sighed

i knelt down to the kids and hugged each of them giving them a kiss on the forehead 

"Be safe K? and don'e harass mama there-" i said and they nodded

i stood up and turned to Ruqayyah 

pulling her into a hug, i put my head on her shoulder 

"I love you" i whispered and she sighed against me 

"I love you alloott" she said and i managed a smile 

" I will miss you- be safe and call-" i said as i held her at an arms length 

she nodded chuckling slightly 

"Come on kids-" she said holding the two kids hands and i bid them goodbye

"Allah hafiz.." i said and they replied the answer and walked towards the gates 

i stood there, hands in my jean pockets as i stared at my wife and kids 

once they were in, i took out my phone and dialed the number i always dial when i am in no mood for communications 

"Yo- salaam- they went in safely?" he asked and i sighed

"I am coming to your work place" i said and hung up 

walking out of the airport into the slightly drizzling rain, i got into the SUV and drove to the well known destination, Edris empire 

the doors automatically opened as i made my way to the Edris Tech Center- owned by Shumayll 

"Hello Mr. Ibrahim- long time!" said his assistant, Lana, who was in her late 40's

"Hello Mrs. Lana- is Shumayll in?" i asked her and she nodded

"Yup and would you like anything?" she asked me and i smiled at her 

"A large cup of coffee" i said and she laughed 

"I see Mr. Shumayll is rubbing off on you!" she said and i smiled

i walked inside the elevator and his face appeared

"Oh you here?" he said smirking and i groaned

"Yes and now please don't speak!" i muttered and his laughed echoed in the elevators 

the elevator raised up to the top floor and the doors opened revealing his office slash panthouse doors 

I opened the doors and strode into his office

He set there playing with his laptop and some holograms 

"Oh hey- salaam-" he said looking up from his work 

"Was salaam" i said as i took a seat in front of him 

"So what brings you here?" he asked smirking at me 

that troll knew why i was here yet he asks!

"You know the damned reason" i replied and he chuckled

"Whats bothering you?" he came straight to the point and i sighed 

"she went to Bloemfontein! all alone!" i said and he chuckled

"You let her go- stop whining like a kid!" he said and i glared at him

"I did not let her go- she insisted on going alone with the kids!" i said and he smirked

"And you just agreed with her?" he asked me smirking 

oh come on!

"Yes- what else could i do- i did not want her to think i was too possessive!" i muttered and Shumayll laughed 

"Wow- so now you are here whining and worrying that something might happen to her?" he asked me and i nodded

"Yes- i can't trust those people- they have abandoned her before and i am pretty sure they can do it again!" i said and Shumayll's face displayed confusion 

"what?" he asked me and then it clicked me that no one knew about that- 

crap 

"Nothing- its just that when she was married to Musawwir, her parents never talked to her and they called like after 5 years to actually want her back home" i said and Shumayll nodded

"Poor bhabhi-  i am so glad you have her" he muttered and i chuckled

"Anyways- so why are you worrying?" he asked me and i groaned again 

"Dude- my wife and kids went alone to some psycho's place and i am not there to protect them, nor is anyone else! How am i suppose to keep calm!?!" i asked him and he held his hands up in surrender 

"Fine Fine- chill- we will think of a plan- somehow- one way or another- we have to get to their house" he muttered 

"Don't you have work?" he questioned and i nodded

"I do but my stress levels will not let me work!" i replied annoyed at myself for letting them go alone 

 "Chill- we can take work with us- when we crash the oh- so- long- faily reunion!" he smirked and i gave him a confused look 

he nodded and tapped in things in his phone before a huge hologram appeared on the table and Iqra looked bored 

'What?" she asked Shumayll and my mouth hung open 

my sister had holograms in the house and i had no idea?

"You had holograms?!" I asked her and she turned to me 

"Oh salaam bhai" she smiled and immediately i forgot that she had a hologram in the house without telling me 

"Why did you call?" asked Iqra turning to Shumayll 

"We need to do something- help Iqraam" smirked Shumayll 

from his smirk, i figured it was not good
