I think i am falling for you i thought and a smile creeped on my face

"I think i am too- but that would be a lie" he whispered in my ear and goosebumps appeared

what?

"You spoke your thoughts out loud" he said placing a hand on my back and pressing my body to his in a tight hug

"Oh..." was all i could say as we stood there in each others arms

it felt natural and instantly i felt a swirl of different emotions within me

"Mamaaaa!!!!" screamed Zahi's voice and we jumped a meter apart from each other as my child ran bursting into the room

I knelt down to her and after giving me a quick kiss on the cheek, she ran up to Iqraam who picked her up and handed her a piece of chocolate

"Whats that?" i questioned them and they gave me identical grins

"Ferrero Rocher" said Zahi and i sighed

"Iqraam, don't give her chocolates, her teeth will-" i said and Zahi continued the sentence

"Go bad but mama! i brush!!!" she whined and Iqraam laughed

"Let her eat, she hardly eats them anyway" he said and i nodded

"So..... we get to call you abba from now?" asked Zahi absentmindedly as she opened her chocolate

Iqraam looked at me and i smiled at him

"Depends.... do you want to?" he drawled and Zahi chuckled

"Of course we do!" said Zaik walking inside the room and i hugged him

"Then its decided, i am your abba from now-" said Iqraam and Zahi squealed and Zaik hugged Iqraam

i smiled

Musawwir was never this good with them... not that he ever met Zahi personally but still

"Guys we shifting today by magrib- so get your things ready" said iqraam and the two kids nodded

Zahi got out of Iqraam's arms and strode away Allah knows where and Zaik went out to Namaan (He had the courtesy to tell me that unlike my daughter)

"Shower?" i asked Iqraam and he nodded

"Just lock the door, Shumayll would not knock- he needs time to adjust- sorta" said Iqraam and i nodded

i set infront of his dresser and stared at my reflection in the mirror

My eyebrows were naturally made, the arch was natural and my eyes were hazel brown

i had medium sized eyes that were rimmed with thick lashes which were barely visible, not that i complain- i mean i am happy the way i am

my nose was okay i guess, my lips were full and dull pinkish

there was a scar, barely visible on my lower lip that was a reminder, like many others, of my past life

my thumb traced it and i sighed

No use dwelling on it

"Are you okay?" Asked Iqraam from behind me and I nodded without looking up from the dresser

"You sure?" He asked coming nearer

I sighed and looked up the mirror

My eyes went wide and I stood up quickly diverting my gaze

He stood there, towel around his waist, his hands running through his hair (when I saw him) and his 6 pacs on display!!!

"G-get d-dres- dressed" I stammered and he chuckled taking a step towards me and I fixed my gaze to the floor

The floor was pretty amazing today...

"Am I scaring you, Ruqayyah?" He whispered to me, suddenly really near
I gulped and shook my head

"Look up to me...?" He asked in a deep husky voice and my heartbeat accelerated beating against my rib cage

"Z-Zhur" I managed to say and he laughed

I felt warmth on my cheeks and a smile formed on my face

"I am going to get dressed.... go shower" he whispered near my ear and I nodded

"I will see you later-" with a wink he walked towards the closet

I opened the curtains and once I chose my usual abhaya, I went for a shower

Yeh ladka hayeh Allah!

"Choose your rooms!!!!!" Yelled abba and everyone began running about

We were now in the new house though many of the things were still back home

"I need a huge room" muttered Iqraam and I laughed

"Who will redecorate the house?" I asked him and he chuckled

"Its fully furnished... the new room, you can change is if you want" he said as he linked our hands walking up the grand stairs

He walked to the end of the hall, top floor and opened the doors

We did not even look at other rooms!!

"I had reserved this as mine..." he said and I chuckled

Looking around the room, I noticed it was really huge

It had white and black furnishings... the curtains n bed sheets looked dull, needed changes but the rest was amazing

It was divided into two like the old room but this was pretty

"Like it?" He asked me and I nodded as I pulled us to the balcony

A huge window/ door made of glass let sunlight inside and I smiled as I opened it

The view was amazing!!!!

There was a whole city seen from here and the light glimmered on the sea

"Masha Allah!" I muttered and felt hands on my waist

I gasped as he put his chin on my shoulder and my breathing quickened
My niqab fell and I realized he had opened it

I placed my hands on his and a warm feeling spread in my body

A good feeling

"You like this?" He asked me and I nodded

"Yeah.... it's beautiful" I whispered and he shifted closer to my body keeping it warm from the cold air

"I hoped so..." he whispered and we stood there in each others arms staring out in the night city lights

"Bhaiiiii!!" Yelled Iqra and Iqraam sighed

"Something happened!" He muttered as he let me go and a whiff of good air made me shiver

Tying my niqab, I tried to keep warm

We walked inside the room and then to the halls only to see Shumayll and Iqra bickering

I chuckled and walked to them

"What happened?" Asked Iqraam putting his hands in his pockets

"Nothing!" They both said simultaneously and Iqraam raised an eyebrow

"Is it just me or you both are covering up for each other?" Asked Iqraam and they both laughed nervously

"You both are nervous.... what happened?" I asked them and they glanced at each other and grinned back

"Nothing, ahh... I need to find my room!" With that Shumayll ran down the hall and Iqraam and I glanced at each other with confusion

"Oh.... ahh.... nothing... he was being him.." said Iqra and I laughed

"Sure... the blush gave it away.. spill-" I said and she laughed

"Nothing... I need to shower" with that she walked away as well

I stood there with Iqraam and Zahi and ammi walked to us

"Dinner will be served by 8- so be on time!" Winked ammi and I blushed

With that Zahi and Ammi walked away leaving Iqraam and I alone again

I sighed and turned to Iqraam

"I have to leave for work" he muttered staring down at his phone

I almost groaned in frustration

Almost

"Want me to come along?" I asked him and he shook his head

"I just need to wrap up some work and I will be home by 10-" he said as we walked into the room

I sighed and nodded

He was wearing white tees, hoodies and jeans

"You are going to change?" I asked him and he nodded

Funny I just got married today and so much has happened....

"Naah.... I don't have meetings.." he said and i nodded

I set in the room looking about

He pecked my forehead and walked out of the room

I stood up and studied the room

Everything seemed.... dull

Then an idea struck me

Time to read furnish this room
