Iqraam

Her face fell and I ran my hand through my hair

"Ruqayyah I-" I said and she interrupted me

"Don't speak, sir. Why are you here, firstly?" She asked me

"As salamu alaikum!" Said Iqra's coming into he view and Ruqayyah turned to her

"Oh.... was salaam! Come inside" she said and we walked inside, me being the last one

"Ruqayyah please listen!" I said to her and she looked away

"Please just once!" I literally begged her

Her eyes widened and she held her hand up.

"Balcony" she muttered before walking away.

I followed her to the balcony

Telling the kids that we had work stuff to discuss, we stood alone in the balcony

"About what happened..." I said and she again held her hand up

"Its okay Sir, i had no right as your PA to interfere your personal business" she said

I balled my fists

The hack was she talking about?

"Ruqayyah" I said calmly and she nodded

"I am sorry I snapped at you... it's just that I have problems and issues with my father that I can't just shake it off like that. I was angry..." I said and she looked away

"Hey, I am really sorry alright... I did not mean to hurt you... I know I am like my father but please?" I said and she turned to me

I stared in her brown orbs

They had tears

"Please don't cry... I did not mean to make you cry" I said and she shook her head

"Its okay... I was..I was trying to help you... just that.. I- I don't know why though" she looked away

I felt a smile creep on my face

She wanted to help me?

"Why did you want that?" I asked her

She looked away

"Ruqayyah...." I said and she walked to the bench

Taking a seat, she played with the toys of the kids

I took a seat in front of her

"Tell me" I said and she did not answer

Ya allah!

"I- I don't know!" She said in a soft voice

My heart fluttered and did stupid things I can't even explain

She looked up at me and I smiled widely

Something I did not do for the past few hours

"Its okay..." I muttered and she looked at me with questioning eyes

Weird how her eyes speak to me more than she actually does

"Naah I was just.. um...." I said rubbing my neck

"Iqraam..." she whispered and I stated at her

Her voice.. it made my name sound so.... amazing!

"Iqraam?" She asked and I snapped out of my trance

"Uh yes" I said rubbing my neck

"Iqraam... why.. why are you after me?" She asked me after a moment if silence

I stared at her in disbelief

After her?

I love her!!!!

"I am not after you!" I said and ran a hand through my hair

"I am just an infatuation... I will fade after time.... Iqraam.. I ...I am not even..." she stuttered

I leaned in front to listen to her

"You even what?" I asked when she stopped dead in her sentence

Her eyes looked away as if in shame

"Ruqayyah answer me..." I said lowly and she kept looking away

"..I am not even a... a.. virgin.." she whispered the last the part to me

I stared at her

Out of all the things she told me that?

Like I can't see the two kids of here to know that! Okay I did not think of that but who cares! I love her for her... not her past

"Ruqayyah....." I whispered and she looked at me with glistening eyes

"Please don't cry.... this whole thing.. I know that... okay fact is I don't know what to say, I just came here to tell you..." I said honestly

I now hated beating around the bush

Inhaling a deep breath I held eye contact

"I love you Ruqayyah.... I really do and I will marry you in sha Allah! And you only" I said and emphasized the word only

Her eyes widened and I smiled

"In case if you did not know this about me...." I said and I leaned forward to her

"But I get what I want!" I whispered and I saw her hand grip the flowers really tight

Good, I have an effect on her like she does on me

Except I think my effect on her is more of a scary one

"Allah Hafeez Ruqayyah!" I said and stood up

I walked inside the apartment and little Zahi clasped my legs tightly

I chuckled at her

Picking her up in my arms, I walked to the living room

Zaik was playing PS3 with Shumayll and Iqra was glaring daggers at Shumayll

"So what is the little princess up to?" I asked Zahi as I set on the couch

"I am nwot a pwrincess!" she said and I stared at her

Not a princess?

"Why not?" I asked her and she grinned showing her white teeth

Ruqayyah must be very medical conscious with these two

"I am Spiderman!" She said and I laughed

"Okay spiderman- what can I do for you?" I fake bowed in front of her and she giggled

"Be a hero!!!" She said and I laughed at her cute face

"Yes Spiderman!" I said and stood up faking Superman pose

I heard laughter and turned to see Ruqayyah laughing at me.

I felt blush creep my neck and my face
Oh crap

"Mommy he's the hero!!" Giggled zahi and Ruqayyah nodded as she picked up the little Zahi in her arms

"I can see that!" She said and I grinned

"Don't worry, main hoon hero Tera!" I winked and her eyes widened

Okay that was weird...

"I am her hero, she asked me to be, right Zahi?" I said changing the whole meaning of the sentence and Zahi nodded happily

I smiled at them

The perfection and lolve in between them was beyond compare to anything in this world

Ya Allah please let this small but beautiful family be mine...

Seeing Zaik and Zahi reminded me of Iqra and I

Father had left us with ammo and how she struggled to bring us up

I don't want Zaik or Zahi to go through the same thing

I want the best for them

I may not be their biological father but I intend to be more than that to them in the future, in sha Allah

I already love them and I wish for them to be mine one day

A family of my own

I smiled at the thought

But ammi still has to know....

Reminding me of which, my fathers call

Should I meet him?
Should we give him a chance to prove worthy?

But then again if he comes back or not, it would make no difference in my life, right?

I am hoping so

Ya Allah help me through this!
