/9 MONTHS LATER/

IQRAAR 

Ruqayyah bhabhi was ecstatic for the baby and so were everyone else 

We could not wait for a little bhai running around the house, creating chaos 

The most excited were Zahi and Zaik i would say 

Zahi is already preparing all her things to give to the baby and Zaik, well he is praying he gets a baby brother so he is not alone 

Zahi is fine with any though 

And above all 

What gave me even greater happiness was that I was announced 3 months pregnant with Shumayll's and my child (6 months ago)

That too a day after bhabhi completed her 3 months into pregnancy

I was at work, yes i began working again but this time as a personal designer and shopper for elites and sometimes non elites too. Anyways I was at the mall, shopping with my current client when dizziness took me over and i stopped for food 

I thought it was because of food but the following morning, when i was with Shumayll, his coffee smell made me throw up repeatedly and then Ammi suggested getting me checked up to ensure i was alright 

and thats when they told me i was pregnant and gave me a huge list of guidelines on what to do and what not to do 

Mostly it was both my bhabhi's telling me what to do and what not 

They did not even let me cook! 

Shumayll and bhai were more than ecstatic because according to them, like them their kids would be best friends too 

they have even started to get together with the kids (Zaik and Zahi) looking for identical names 

Like Wallahi, the baby is not even here yet! 

But Alhamdulillah 

I am happy 

more than happy 

I am finally becoming a mother 

I will finally have a child to bring up, teach morals and tell stories to 

I feel giddy, with a rush of nausea and morning sickness at times 

But overall, me good 

Alot of things happened throughout the time, out of which Waarith and Nafaasat's love story stood out 

Yes, they are madly and deeply in love- apparently the families are talking about their marriage 

this happened when they were in London and sources say that Waarith looked after Nafaasat there like a protector and when we claimed it was his brotherly instincts, he clearly denied and cussed under his breath! 

So yes, it was clear he liked her and his family liked her too so now, their marriage talk is going on 

I was home, watching cartoon with my niece when she spoke 

"Masi?" she called for my attention and i turned to her 

"Yeah?" 

"When the baby comes, will you let me play with him or her? I want to give them all my coloring books and toys and cartoons!" she was excited 

Zahi was 3 now and spoke fluently 

"Of course! You can also teach them ABCD" i told her, hugging her close and she nodded excitedly 

"Yes!!" she squealed after a while 

Bhabhi entered the room and took a seat beside me 

"Hows the end of the last trimester going?" she asked me 

like everyone else did 

"Good! I am excited!" i said honestly and she laughed, as Zahi cuddled her 

"I am too" she replied, smiling down at her daughter 

Sohayll was at the nursery but Zahi stayed back claiming she was too tired to go 

The day ended that way 

we watched movies and walked a little because i was told to not walk alot but also not sit down too much 

I was heavily pregnant, i can't even see my own two feet! 

Sometimes when i am sitting on the couch, Shumayll has to pick me up and put me to bed! 

Yes, i can't even get up on my own from a freaking couch! 

"As salaamu alaikum baby!" Shumayll kissed my forehead and then my swollen stomach 

I smiled as he placed his head on it and whispered words to the baby 

I was suppose to be due sometime soon but i am not really sure when 

so yeah 

"After shower, we have food" he said, standing up and i nodded 

He went to shower while i watched more cartoons 

Gently placing my hand on my bump, i rubbed it soothingly 

My baby is living in me 

I was glad, Alhamdulillah, that Shumayll and I had performed Umrah while i was pregnant

"You make mama the happiest person on earth" i whispered to it smiling

we never found out the gender, it was supposed to be a surprise, even though everyone wanted us to do so. Even bhai doesn't know the gender of his and bhabhi's baby 

It kicked 

Like always 

The time it started moving, i thought something was wrong and i was going lose it- i had began panicking and all until bhabhi told me it was normal for babies to do that 

after that, when it did not kick, i panicked 

It kicked again and i laughed 

"I see my child makes you more happy than i do" said Shumayll, sitting beside me, his arms around me 

He rested his head on my shoulder and rubbed my bump, causing the ticklish feeling 

I laughed lightly 

"My baby makes me more happy than anyone else but you, Mr. Edris, are my very first love!" I said and he chuckled lowly, kissing my collar bone 

I shivered 

Its been a year of our marriage and he still has the effect on me 

"Waarith and Nafaasat said they would be here to meet the baby- or babies- including Iqraam's kid" said Shumayll and i laughed 

"Uhuh and when would that be?" I asked him and he laughed 

"Whenever the baby decides to come in the world" he replied, tackling me in a passionate kiss 

We lay on the bed staring at the lightly illuminated ceiling 

"Promise me you will love me even after death?" I asked him and he turned to face me 

The man i fell in love with, am still in love with and will forever be in love with smiled gently at me 

"I promise" he whispered, kissing more hand and i smiled 

"And I promise to love you too" I said and he grinned brightly at me 

"Before i forget- what do you want for your birthday?" he asked me 

"My birthday is done and dusted and you already gave me a stack of books" i replied and he shook his head 

"I know but what else do you want?" he asked me

"You" i replied mischievously and he smirked 

"Now do you?" he questioned me, pulling me closer slowly and i grinned at him 

"Always" i replied, placing a kiss on his cheeks causing his heart rate to increase 

"Mrs. Edris, you are going a little too mischievous" he said and i chuckled, burying my head in his neck 

"I see the books you read have immerse affect on your thinking" he said and i knew what he was implying 

I blushed and huffed 

He might or might not have caught me reading the fifty shades series 

what? 

the story is good and i skipped the other ahem ahem scenes 

except that he thinks i read it all 

Jeez! 

I know he knows i didn't but that does not stop him from teasing me 

His laughter echoed throughout the room and i blushed even more 

"Stop it!" i whined and he laughed more 

"Nope!" He replied, rubbing my hair and then running his hand through it 

Slowly just when i felt sleep enter my head, m body began aching badly 

my lower abdomen ached and i felt something break and wet on my body 

I jerked Shumayll up and he stared at me in confusion 

"water- broke"

I was delaying it so much but i guess i had to get it done 

this chapter jumps 9 months ahead of the last chapter
