To say Shumayll's family considered me as their own will be an understatement, these people made me feel as though we had known each other since birth! 

Like wow! 

"Iqra bhabhi, tell me something" said Aariz and i raised my eyebrows at him 

"Yeah?" 

"Why is the weather here so hot-ish?" he asked 

I shot him a smile 

"Why dearest, is the weather back at home colder than this?" i questioned him in old english and he grinned at me 

"I knew i would like you! I like to speak in that english as well, the historical one" he replied, sitting on the sofa 

i hit the TV on and Me Before You was playing 

"And to answer your question, Lady dearest, Yes, as a matter of speech, yes it it much colder, we hail from Canada whereby the temperatures are very moderate and thus we are not used to this heat, you know" he replied and i laughed out loud 

"Sure as if Canada has no summer" i retorted and he chuckled, tucking his legs beneath him 

"It does but during summer, we are usually in Fiji or Hawaii or Malaysia or other places" he replied and i chuckled

"What do you do?" i questioned 

"I am 19 and i am studying Law at Australian National University" he replied and i nodded 

"So you stay at the dorms?" i questioned and he nodded smiling brightly 

"its fun" he laughed

"So you fight?" i questioned and he laughed

"Not exactly, I am still in the process but meh, I still am good at it" he replied causing me to laugh 

Aarib entered and set on the sofa with his phone 

"Brother, the phone is about to break at the force which you are hitting it with!" remarked Aariz and Aarib glared at the brother, before giving me a small smile 

"My phone is not connecting to NZ" he replied and Aariz laughed

"Missing your girlie much?" he winked and Aarib rolled his eyes

I smirked at Aarib 

"No no bhabhi, nothing of that sort, he just thinks that i have 'secret' girlfriends that i don't tell him about which i don't, i swear i don't!" he said and i laughed 

"Iqra, where are Nabz, Nafz and Ruqayyah?" asked Ammi coming into the room 

"Uh mah, they must be on the way, bhabhi did not message me though" i replied and ammi nodded before walking away 

Waarith took a seat beside me and grinned at me 

Before he could speak, Shumayll was in between us and smirking at Waarith 

"wallahi!" muttered Waarith and i laughed 

Shumayll put his arms around me and talked to Aarib as Aariz and Waarith wrestled on the rug 

"Do you two mind!?!" scolded Aarib and Waarith laughed pushing Aariz's head to the side 

Aariz growled but nevertheless stood up and resumed his seat turning to the TV rather huffly 

I stood up when i heard ammi call me 

"Coming mah!" i yelled as i stood up and smiled at the boys 

"Well boys, laters!" i said before walking towards the drawing room 

Fua, chachi and ammi were seated there and i smiled at them 

"Yes mah?" i questioned her and she patted on the seat in between her and chachi 

Huma bhabhi entered and took a seat beside Fua, hugging her tight 

"Aweehh" cooed fua and i smiled 

I was not in the whole hugging basis with them 

Chachi beamed at me and i returned a small smile

"I swear bhabhi, you have got the most amazing bahu's ever! both of them!" complimented chachi and i blushed slightly 

first ever compliment as his wife 

not bad Iqra, not bad 

"Now Fua, i will have to share my gifts?" pouted Huma bhabhi and everyone laughed 

"Of course not! The gifts will be doubled for both the daughters!" said chachi hugging me sideways and i relaxed 

"Acha, speaking of gifts, Iqra, this is for you" said Fua, standing up with a huge box in her hand 

i stared at her 

is it a tradition to shower people with gifts?

I looked up at her and smiled 

"fua, it really was not......" i mutter and she laughed, so did everyone else 

i looked down in embarrassment 

"Awwww I swear bhabhi, you do have the most adorable bahu's!" said Fua and chuckled 

she tilted my head and smiled warmly at me 

"You see dearie, its a tradition in our family to shower the bahu's with gifts for ages now" she explained and i nodded smiling slightly 

"Now come here!" she giggled and tackled me in a huge bear hug 

i laughed and hugged her back 

she gave me the gift and then chachi handed me her gift 

they both were boxes though 

"We don't have any daughters in the immediate family, all of us have boys but when Huma got married and entered this house, it felt like we do have a daughter in the family, we are hoping it will be the same with you?" she questioned and i nodded smiling 

Ammi hugged me sideways and grinned at the other three 

"She was the daughter of the house before she even married Shumayll, them getting married was just another bonus" winked ammi and i blushed 

"Yes!!!" added Huma didi hugging my other side 

soon i was squashed in between four people 

Soon the laughter died out and we all set there, talking 

Daadi mah came and joined us and all the while we were talking, all i was hoping for was that she does not comment on Shumayll or i will lose my mind and say something harsh to her 

Alhamdulillah she didn't 

Ruqayyah bhabhi messaged me that they will be late since bhai had work 

the girls will be with her but mama and abba will be here soon 

I stood up and walked to our room and closed the door behind me 

i seriously needed to change clothes 

I stared at myself in the mirror 

I look- 

"Beautiful" muttered Shumayll, standing behind me 

i swear this guy gives me chills, the good kinda chills 

His arms wrap around me as we stand infront of the mirror 

"I was gonna say ugly" i replied looking at him from the mirror 

He chuckled, placing his head on my right shoulder 

"You look good and thats it" he replied and i chuckled

"Of course, your highness!" i replied, patting his cheeks and he whined 

"Don't do that!" 

I laughed at him before stepping away from him with most difficulty i might add- 

I took my clothes and headed to shower 

I took off my hijab and stared at the marks covering my collar bone area. It was his mark, as he said though 

i striped and headed for a long hot shower 

Once i was clean and smelt good, i walked out of the bathroom to see Shumayll, sleeping soundly on the couch 

I smiled at his sleeping figure 

I walked to him and kissed his forehead before walking away to get ready for the get together 

it was almost Isha so i prayed Isha and then got ready 

Shumayll was still sleeping so i closed the door behind me and walked downstairs 

Huma didi and i entered the living room together 

"You look good" winked Didi and i laughed 

"You look hot!" i winked back and she laughed doing her hijab flip 

i swear she can do it so well! 

we both laughed before taking a seat with the women at one side of the living room 

their living room was huge by the way, its gigantic 

We set on each side of ammi and smiled at everyone 

I hugged my ammi and she grinned at me 

"How are you?" she asked me and i mirrored her expression 

"Good!" i replied and then they all launched into a conversation 

The doorbell rang and i stood up saying i will answer it since it would definitely be my brother and sisters! 

I opened the door and Zahi leapt in my arms from bhai's arms and he laughed 

"Hows my baby!?" i asked her excitedly and she kissed my cheeks 

"Good!!!" she replied grinning at me 

"Zahiii, Zaiikkk!!!" screamed Sohayll and she wiggled herself from me before running in her small legs towards Sohayll 

Zaik kissed my cheeks before running away to Sohayll as well

Bhai hugged me tight and kissed my forehead 

"Damn sister, i missed you!" he muttered and i laughed 

"I missed you too, big brother!" i said and he let me go 

he grinned at something behind me and i turned to see Shumayll 

he woke up!!! 

"Moi Brothaa!!" he said in a high pitched voice and bhai mirrored his expressions as he walked to him and hugged him 

Nafz hugged me after him and walked inside when Huma didi came 

she squealed on seeing the girls and i winced 

Ruqayyah bhabhi chuckled seeing the two boys 

"Alright people, its time to have fun!!" giggled Huma didi and everyone laughed 

tonight was going to be good!

Yesterday, i wrote an essay on 'My Exam on the day of Judgement' for an Islamiyat paper 

it was nice, i think- 

anyways 

update!! 

P.S- I m a Fijian, the Rugby team who won the Olympics Rugby? Fiji? my home!! I was soooooooooooo hyped up! 

I had my english paper, when the game began. the entire school had their exam and when it was 10am, the game began, everyone left their papers to go watch the game in the library (it has about 62 or 64 inch TV) 

FIJI RUGBY FOREVER!!
