Sarah smiled and said, "Yes." Then, the next day, Sarah was walking through the cavernous halls of the school with Alec when her friend Ally come up to her, grabbed her hand and said, "I need to talk to you." Then she took Sarah to the girls bathroom and asked, "Do you know who that is that you're holding hands with?"
Sarah said, "Yeah. Of course I do. He's my boyfriend, Alec. Why do you ask?"
Ally replied, "He's the notorious bad boy that everyone talks about. Everybody says that he got kicked out of school. So, he had to move here."
Sarah said, "Really? He doesn't seem bad. Plus the reason he moved here is because his grandparents are here. You don't have to always believe what you hear from other people, Ally. I mean he's a little ruff around the edges, but once you get to know him, he's really nice and kind. Would you like me to introduce you to him?"
Ally replied, "Sure. I'd love to meet him." Then Sarah introduced Ally to Alec and they became friends.
That just goes to show you that you can't judge people by what others say about them, but getting to know them for who they really are.
