Author's note: Hey y'all. Ok, so I had an assignment to write a paragraph or 2 using some words I had learned throughout my English book and well, it kind of turned into a story so I decided to post it. I hope y'all enjoy it and please vote and comment on it and tell me what y'all thought about it. Enjoy!

    It was 2 weeks until school started back so, Sarah was riding her bike in the park like she did every day during the summer. She was looking at the flowers and the squirrels chasing each other. Then all of a sudden she slammed right into a boy. He was skating on his skateboard like he did every day during the summer. She immediately got off her bike and ran over to him. She looked solicitously at him and exclaimed, "Oh, my God! Are you alright?"
    The boy dusted off his clothes and screamed, "No, I'm not alright! You nearly killed me!"
    Sarah replied with great sympathy, "I'm so sorry. I just looked away for a second at some squirrels playing and I slammed into you. I'm so sorry!"
    The boy replied in an atrocious way, "Well, next time keep your eyes on the road instead of the stupid squirrels!" 
    Sarah replied, "Well, I'm sorry. Give me your hand and I'll help you up." Then she held out her hand.
    The boy pushed her hand away and huffed, "I don't need your help! I can get up on my own!" Then he stood up, dusted his clothes off, and asked, "What's your name anyway?"
    Sarah replied, "Sarah. Hey I haven't seen you around here before. What's your name?" 
    The boy replied, "Yeah, that's because me and my family just moved here from Pennsylvania and my name is Alec."
    Sarah said, "Nice to meet you Alec. Hey, Pennsylvania seems a little bit far. Why did y'all move?"
    Alec sighed, "Well my parents decided to move us here because my mom's parents live here. I didn't want to move here. I had my skating friends back in Pennsylvania. Heck, I had my whole life back in Pennsylvania."
    Sarah said, "Well, I'm sure you can make friends here. There's skaters around here. Plus, New York has quite a few places you can skate."
    Alec smirked and said, "Well, if they are anything like you, I better watch out. You know what, maybe it would just be best for me if I lived in a bubble."
    Sarah laughed and said, "You're crazy."
    Alec smiled and said, "No, you're the crazy one. Trying to kill a poor innocent skater."
    Sarah laughed and said, "No, I didn't try to kill you."
    Alec said, "Whatever. Goodbye, killer. Then he waved goodbye as he skated back to his house.
    Sarah laughed and screamed back at him, "I'm not a killer!" Then she got on her bike and rode back home.
