💙Seventy-Three💙

(A/N: Guys today is my first day of summer vacation, so hopefully - unless I get depressed - I'll be updating more frequently. Also, I got a 94.5/100 on my science exam! With two minutes to spare! I have no idea how, but I'm super happy about that. I also got 100's on my other exams. I have no idea how I was able to pull that off, since I'm actually pretty stupid. Also, on my English exam I was supposed to read Romeo and Juliet, and I also had to turn in journal entries throughout the past two months, but I never did any of that, and I still got a 110/100 with the help of google 😎)

A few days later, after announcing the cancellation of the rest of Harry's tour, Harry and Louis were packing their bags to go, and Liam and Zayn had just left their room to go to their own rooms so they could also pack.

Louis was about to put the last thing into his suitcase when his phone started ringing in his pocket.

He pulled it out, seeing Niall's contact on the screen.

"Hi, Ni," he said, somewhat happy at talking to his friend, but sad about the whole situation still.

"Lou," Niall's voice came through.

Louis stopped what he was doing immediately, his back straightening out.

"Niall? What happened?" He asked anxiously.

Niall didn't sound himself, his voice had come through quiet and cracked, scared.

Louis could hear a faint beeping sound coming from Niall's end of the line.

"Well, you know Devan? And how he had been acting less...scary?" Niall asked.

"Yes? What happened? Did he do something to my mum?"

Niall sighed, "And me. He told us so much things, Lou. It was terrible. He hurt your mum and me. We're in the hospital now. I don't know how your mum's doing since we're in different rooms, but-"

Niall was cut off for some reason, the call still going, but he quit talking.

"Niall!" Louis cried.

He was so confused. He felt as if what Niall was saying wasn't making any sense, and he felt as if it wasn't real.

"I have to go for now, Lou. The nurse says I'm not allowed technology. I'll explain everything to you once you get back. I'm at the hospital down the road from your mum's. I love you, Lou, stay safe on your flight."

Before Louis could get a single word in, Niall had ended the call.

Louis stood there, lowering the phone from his ear, setting it on the bed.

"What was that about, Louis? What happened."

Harry came up behind Louis, hugging him tightly, his arms wrapped around Louis' waist and his chin rested on his shoulder.

"Um, I'm not sure," Louis said, but then shook out of his shock, "Oh, um. Niall and my m-mum are hurt. They're in the hospital. Devan. Uh, Devan is my mum's boyfriend I think. Well, you already know this. Or, he was. He hurt them and told them things. I don't know what. We need to get to the hospital."

He was spitting out words that he couldn't tell if they made sense or not, but he had to get the words out to Harry quickly, so he didn't waste time.

He zipped up his suite case, before licking up all of his bags and belongings, yelling at Harry to finish packing.

He stood by the door anxiously while Harry called his driver and then Liam and Zayn, finishing his packing.

Harry had his managers change the flight they would take so that, instead of going to London like they were supposed to, they would be going to Doncaster to see Niall and Louis' mum.

Then, in no time, Harry, Louis, Zayn, and Liam were being escorted out of the hotel's back entrance, only getting slightly swarmed by fans and paparazzi.

They were driven to the airport in two cars, and Louis was hopping out of the car as soon as the driver had opened his door.

He scurried along the airport with his baggage, his security guard following him with some of his bags he couldn't hold.

Harry was a bit behind Louis, roughly explaining to Zayn and Liam what Louis had told him in the hotel room.

They boarded the plane quickly, Louis anxiously looking out of the window the whole time.

He had tried to explain the whole phone call to Harry, but was getting frustrated when his mouth wasn't working properly, so he promptly ignored Harry for the rest of the flight, despite the man's pleads for Louis to talk to him.

Harry had eventually given up, and had taken to holding Louis' hand to his check, resting against Louis in an attempt to soothe his boy.

It did soothe Louis, but he was too stubborn to return the affection except for the occasional stroke to Harry's cheek with the pad of his thumb.

Finally, the plane landed. And after what felt like years, Louis and Harry, Zayn and Liam were on their way to the hospital.

"Want me to come with you when you see them?" Harry asked Louis, muttering into his ear before kissing it three times.

"Yes, please, Harry," Louis said thankfully, but his voice was still laced with worry.

They all walked into the hospital, immediately gaining the attention of the people in the waiting room.

Though, their security team made sure no one got close.

Louis walked quickly to the front desk, the young lady looking at them in surprise and delight.

"Hi, sir, how can I help you today?" She asked nervously.

"I need to see my mum, Johanna Deakin. And my friend Niall Horan. Are they staying at this hospital?" Louis asked quickly.

He tapped his fingers on the desk while he waited for the woman to check for his mum and Niall.

"Yes, your mum is in room 342 on the third floor. And Niall is on the fourth floor, room 417."

"Great!" Louis almost cried, "thank you so much, miss."

Then, he was hurrying to the elevator at the other end of the waiting room.

He looked behind him, seeing Harry and one of the security guards following behind him.

He slowed down slightly, taking Harry's hand in his, "Are Zayn and Liam gonna wait in the waiting room?"

Harry nodded, bringing Louis' hand up to kiss it, causing Louis to blush, "Yes. There are more security with them, so they'll be alright."

Louis nodded.

They waited for the elevator after Louis pushed the 'up' button, and when it got there centuries later, they had to wait a second for the trillion people already in it to leave.

When they did, Louis was walking into it hastily, pressing the button for the third floor.

He watched at the top of the doors as the floors went up, finally getting to the third floor.

The doors opened, and he tightened his hand in Harry's, excusing himself through the small crowd of people.

He lead them down the hallway, looking on the right side of the hall where the even numbers were, before finally reaching the 42nd door at the end of the hall.

He knocked on the door, before peeking his head in.

He felt tears spring up in his eyes, as he caught sight of his mum for the first time in over half a year, laying in the hospital bed asleep with things hooked up to her and bandages covering parts of his body.

"M-Mum," he cried, running into the room to carefully wrap his arms around her.
