"Scared, Stone?"

My katanas clashed with her greek-styled sword, the Stygian Iron against Celestial Bronze making sparks fly. She aimed a slash at my right shoulder but I blocked it with my left sword, using my right one to stab her in the stomach. She dodged and took a few steps back, composing herself, then tried to slice my torso, but I blocked it. Keeping her sword in place, I kicked her feet from under her, at the same time using my other blade to disarm her. Before she knew it, she was on her back with a Stygian Iron blade at her throat. (A/N srry, I'm not good at fight scenes)

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jade Andromeda Psyche Stone-Jackson, but if you call me 'Jackson' or 'Stone-Jackson' I'll kill you. I'm 7 years old and I was raised by a pack of wolves, the Alpha being Lupa, the Roman goddess of wolves. I'm also a daughter of Poseidon the Greek god of the sea, horses, storms and earthquakes.

The girl I was fighting was Lyx Grace, a daughter of Zeus, Greek god of the sky and lightning. She has long dirty blonde hair with dyed black tips and striking blue eyes. She's also seven and has a brother who is younger than her with a year. His name is Jason, and he's a son of Zeus' Roman counterpart, Jupiter. They were separated when they got to the Wolf House, cause different Pantheons and different fates and all that schist.

"Now why should I be scared of, huh, Lyx?" I asked mockingly.

"Oh, shut it," she replied. "I'll get you next time."

"Ok girls, I think it's enough," intervened Lupa amused. "You can go walk in the forest to relax if you want, you worked hard today."

"Thanks Lupa," me and Lyx replied, and jogged to the forest.

We walked through the forest and talked. Okay, 'walked' isn't the best term to use since we were either jogging, racing, jumping through trees and doing anything but walking like normal people.

Suddenly, we heard a scream. You know, normal people would definitely run when they hear a bloodcurdling scream, but as you know, me and Lyx are most definitely not normal.

We ran as fast as we could and ended up in a clearing. There in front of us there it was: a girl about 7-8 years old, attacked by a bunch of dracaenas.

Me and Lyx sliced through the dracaenas and a few minutes and some scratches later, all the snake-women were gold dust. I slowly approached the girl, not to scare her, and crouched down to meet her eyes, as she was sitting on a rock. She had long black hair with a reddish brown tint, an Italian complexion, and had a few cuts on her arms and legs. I now noticed that above her head was a symbol, the symbol of Hades. (the symbol on top)

"Hey, are you hurt?" I asked keeping my voice low.

"Y-yeah, I'm okay, thanks," she said, sheepishly lifting her head. She had beautiful black eyes, that changed to chocolate brown in sunlight. "Are...are you demigods too?"

"Yeah, hi, I'm Lyx Grace, daughter of Zeus!" she said. I internally facepalmed. Why does she have to be so cheerful?!

"I-I'm Marie di Angelo, though I don't really know my godly parent," the girl said. "All I know is that my dad was a god."

"Well, by that symbol wrapped in shadows my best guess is that you're a daughter of Hades," I said pointing a finger at the sign floating above her head, now standing. "I'm Jade. Jade Stone." I gave her my hand and pulled her up.

"We should tell Lupa about her," I told Lyx concerned.

"Yea, no worries," she then quickly grabbed Marie's wrist, sprinting towards the Wolf House. "LYX, YOU'RE GONNA SCARE HER!"

I sighed. "Why do I have to always deal with the overly cheerful energetic daughter of Zeus? I swear she's gonna be the death of me."

With that I jumped into a tree and skipped the branches to the Wolf House.

Sorry for the short chapter and the long wait, I just lost motivation very quickly, but now I got the book I was searching for since last Christmas, Rosewood Chronicles: The Lost Princess and felt really motivated to finish this chapter
