Star Wars AU Pt. 1
(Takes place during the prequels, before Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, and neither Luke nor Leia were born yet.) Forgive me if I have made a mistake with Star Wars timelines
Hazel Levesque walked carefully through the wreckage of droids, touching the remains with her finger. She picked up some parts, putting them in her bag. They looked like the droids that the separatists had built. They would certainly get her a pretty penny in spare parts.
As Hazel carefully inspected each of the destroyed droids, she heard a loud crash. Frightened, she hid behind the crashed ships the droid had arrived in on the desert planet. Hazel heard what sounded to be a fight. Insults were exchanged between what sounded like a male and a female, and the plasma connection of light sabers.
Hazel risked a look over her shoulder, and gasped. A strong boy with blond hair and blue eyes matching his light saber was in a battle with a girl. The girl had brown hair, a red light saber, and constantly changing eyes.
The girl snorted. "A Padawan? They sent me to fight a Padawan?" She snorted. "I don't know whether to be insulted or amused." The girl swung her leg around, tripping the boy so he landed hard on a broken droid. The boy gasped, the air knocked out of him. He rolled out of the way before the girl could stab the light saber into his heart. The boy stood up, using the force to grab his light saber. "I knew I should've stretched."
The two collided again, both powerful in their own sense. The girl smirked, seeming to be at ease during the fight. "You have initiative, I'll give you that. You're also not that bad looking." The boy parried a strike. "I don't mind your...face. Also, feeling's mutual. I'd hate to kill you."
Hazel watched, astonished. While the two seemed to be having a most polite face off, she heard a low rumbling noise. Before she could identify it however, the girl had suddenly knocked the light saber out of the boy's grasp, and her hand around his throat.
The boy struggled, and the girl stretched out her arm, readying to plunge the light saber into his stomach. "Sorry. But I have direct orders. Kill any Jedi at the wasteland." Her voice was nearly drowned out the by the humming noise, which had gotten louder. A ship had landed nearby, but all three were occupied at the moment.
Without thinking, Hazel screamed. "No!" The girl stopped, momentarily confused, before her eyes settled on her. "A scavenger? Wait! General Nico's sis-"
The girl was smacked in the back of the head by a hooded figure, with some sort of blunt object. Her eyes rolled up into her head, and the girl collapsed, unconscious. Hazel yelped. How did she not see the stranger?
The hooded figure took off his cloak. It was another boy, with black hair and sea green eyes. He had a light saber attached to his belt. He was holding a droid part.
The boy who the girl had tried to kill stood up, looking annoyed. "A little late, Percy." The boy called Percy chuckled. "I was just in time to save your sorry arse, Grace. Now come on. Take the Sith girl, we could use her for questioning."
The boy scooped up the unconscious girl in his arms. "Way to go for the toughness factor, Jason." "Shut it, Jackson." As if just noticing Hazel was there, Percy turned to her.
"A scavenger?"
Hazel swallowed, and nodded. "I'll be going now." She turned and scrambled over the different droids and shrapnel, when something held her back. Hazel found she couldn't move, her body frozen in place.
"That isn't any ordinary scavenger, Grace. That's Nico's sister."
Hazel closed her eyes. She hoped she'd never have to hear that phrase again. "No. He's not my brother. Not anymore." Hazel responded bitterly, trying to get free from the force hold.
Percy was standing in front of her now. "Care to explain?" "That's none of your business, Jedi." "An enemy's business is our business, ma'am."
Hazel pursed her lips. "I'm not saying anything." Percy grinned. "We didn't ask you too." He reached out a hand, and spoke in a clear, firm tone. "You will tell us where General Nico is now."
Hazel felt as if her mind was being infiltrated. As if someone were looking through her mind and memories like digging through spare parts. It was being forced out of her. But she refused to let the words leave her lips.
"No."
Little did Percy know, she was force sensitive. She broke from his grip, fully angry now. Hazel jabbed a finger at him. "I will not be interrogated like some sort of prisoner. I refuse to be a prisoner as well. Now you'll get out of here if you know what's-"
A shot from a gun was fired, and the laser grazed Hazel's skin. She screamed in pain as blood from her arm started pouring. "Sorry! Sorry!" A voice said.
Hazel turned to see a large boy, who held a blaster. He had short, military cut hair and brown eyes. "Well done, Frank." Hazel heard Jason say before passing out from pain.
