Nico walked through the school, wrapping his scarf closer around himself, and generally ignoring people. He was on his way to Potions with Professor Snape, and the Slytherins would be having a class with the Hufflepuffs.

Nico walked to the stone steps that would eventually lead down to the dungeons. He noticed it was getting a bit colder, and he shivered a bit. "Hiya there, Nico!" A happy voice called out, and Nico turned to find his crush Will happily bouncing towards him.

"Hey." Nico muttered, desperately hoping Will didn't notice he was blushing. "Well, finally! Class with the Slytherins! We so rarely have them." Will smiled, his blues eyes meeting Nico's. 

Nico quickly responded "Y-yeah. Class with the Slytherins. Um, fun." Nico mentally face palmed. Idiot, now he thinks you're weird. Will suddenly went from being bubbly, to looking slightly concerned. "You look a little cold. Are you alright?" "Of course-" Nico stammered, but Will had already taken off his own yellow and black scarf, and carefully wrapped it around Nico's neck in addition to his own green and silver scarf.

Nico was sure that his face was red as a tomato by now. "Thank you." "No problem." Will smiled. When Will had turned is back to wave to a friend, Nico quickly buried his face into the scarf, smiling happily. When Will turned back to them, Nico was back to normal default face.

Nico then tried to work up his courage. Now would be a good time as any to tell Will he liked him. He took a deep breath. "Hey Will?" "Yes?" Will asked, looking curious. "Um, I just wanted to, erm, say-" Nico shook his head. "Ugh, I suck at this. What I really wanted to say was Ikindoflikeyoualot."

Nico turned. "I'm sorry, I just-" Will bent down, and kissed him. It was only a peck, but Nico felt happiness swell from his heart down to his toes, and he kissed Will back. Will stepped back, smiling. "I'll see you at Potions," he turned, about to leave.

"Wait!" Nico called, still a bit giddy. "You forgot your scarf!" Will turned back. "You can have it for a while." He chuckled. "You look cute in it."
