I actually should introduce myself before I tell you the story of the guardians.

My name is Quinn Hayes and almost 16 years ago, a war started.

My parents and almost everyone in the city had been captured by what I like to call The Dark Ones.

They are evil souls, who have taken over most of the earth.

There are just a few of us left who fight back.

It seems like I'm the last though.

I've heard about a machine that sends you to different dimensions.

I've heard about the story of one day the guardians will rise and save everyone from them.

One day, I found the location of it and it was the same day my squad had been captured.

I was running in the factory until the robots found me.

I kept running until I got to the room and locked the door.

The machine was gigantic.

I placed the quadrants and the dimensions.

And then?

A blast of smoke went everywhere and there they were.
