The information from Envy didn't really help all that much except give you more questions. You went to Liore and ended up discovering that the priest, Father Cornello, was a fraud. But it wasn't all in vain, for you ended up meeting the Elric Brothers who agreed to work with you in finding the Philosopher's Stone. So, you moved out from the house where you lived with your brother to stay with the Elrics.

You all worked hard to find the stone, and met a man named Marcoh who had research to the making of a philosopher's stone. Unfortunatly, he was unwilling to give any to you. Later, however, he changed his mind and gave you the location to his research notes in Central Library.

And then the Library burned down.

Luckily a woman named Sheska was kind enough to tell you her memorized notes, and you were able to crack the code with Edward and Alphonse. Unfortunatly, you discovered that a Philosopher's stone could only be made using human souls. You decided that you wanted to abandon the idea of making a Philosopher's stone for your father's memory, and decided to instead stay with Edward and Alphonse to continue to try and find a way to get their bodies back.

You ended up meeting Envy again, but found out that he was a homunculous who was...evil. That kind of brought down your view of him, and instead you ended up fighting him instead of anything else. But, you ended up sort of "bonding", if you could even call it that, when you were swallowed by Glottony.

"Great, so you were swallowed too." You heard Envy say.

"I was trying to help people." You growled, lying down in the blood. "Could you give me a hand?"

Envy rolled his eyes but helped you up anyways, and as soon as you put weight on your left ankle you winced. "Ow."

"What?" Envy asked, seemingly uninterested but you knew better. His eyes were telling you a different story.

"Nothing, just my ankle." You reasured him, waving your hand to dismiss it.

"Can you walk?"

You nodded. "I'm sure I ca-AH!"

You would have fallen into the blood again if Envy handn't had caught you. "Great, so now I have to carry you?" He asked.

"Or you could just leave me here." You frowned. "It's very unusual of you to just help me out, Envy."

Envy frowned. "I can be nice!"

He gave you a piggyback ride, and you were trying to discover where Edward and Ling were, because you were positive that they had wound up in here as well.

"(Y/N)?" Envy asked.

"Hm. What."

"Why do you hate me?"

You frowned and lifted your head from his shoulder. "What kind of a question is that? You're a homunculous and are trying to take over all of Amestris. That's more than enough of a reason to hate you." Envy didn't reply, and you felt kind of bad. After a moment, you brought it up again. "I don't necessarily hate you, just dislike you."

"Why?"

"If you didn't tell me about Cornello, I never would have gotten into this mess in the first place and had met all the people I did." You smiled. "So, I have to thank you for that. I don't think that you're all evil, Envy, just jealous of others. So, you've got to learn how to not be envious of others, but to be thankful for what you have."

After you had finally gotten out of Gluttony's stomach, you met this "father" guy, who was the leader of the homunculi. You ended up having to fight to escape, and your escape was different.

You ended up getting engaged in a fight with Envy, and he ended up knocking you out. When you woke up, he was carrying you somewhere, but you didn't know where. "Oi, I'm awake, and that was a dirty move." You growled.

"I know," He said. "But I'm getting you out of here. I don't want you to be around when Father's plans go to action."

You frowned. "Why do you care so much?"

Envy stopped for a moment and looked down at you. "Is me caring a bad thing?"

"Yes." You nodded. "This is not Envy. This is an imposter!"

He rolled his eyes. "I'm taking you to Xing."

"Why?"

"Because it's the one place you will be safe."

You were unsure about how long time went by, but he took you into the country and into a house, where he said would be your home. He told you that he got you a job and everything, and that most people in Xing also spoke Amestrian. Just before he left, you called out, "Hey! Why are you doing all of this for me?"

He stopped and looked back. "Because I care about you, okay? Just...wait for me here. I'll come and get you when everything is over."

With that, he left, and thus began your new life.

~~1 Year Later~~

You were walking around the city you lived in. The job Envy had gotten for you gave you enough to live by and pay the rent of the apartment you now lived in, and you had learned some Xingese while being here. You smiled as you walked down the road, and towards your home. It was late in the afternoon, almost supper time, and you were ready to get home and crash into your bed.

"(Y/N)?!"

You looked around at the sound of your name, seeing a man with golden blonde hair and golden eyes, was wearing a suit and next to him a young teenage girl who was wearing a red dress and her black hair in braids. She was obviously Xingese, but you didn't recognize the man...

...The only other person I know with golden eyes is Edward, but this is obviously not-

"Alphonse?!" You asked. "Y-you got your body back!"

Al smiled and nodded. "Yeah! And I came here with Mei. I'm going to stay here for a while. But what are you doing here? Everyone thinks that you're dead!"

"Uh...blame Envy." You said, shrugging. "He sort of dragged me here against my will. Anyways, do you know where he is? He told me that he would come get me at some point, when it was safe."

"Uh...the last fight with Father was done about 3 months ago, (Y/N), and...all of the homunculi are dead." Al told you, looking down.

Your eyes widned. "Oh."

You decieded to leave Xing after that, and go back to Amestris where you would see all of your friends again. You were happy to see them again, and them you, but you were really upset about something...

...Envy.

But it wasn't like you had ever loved him before! He was a jerk, and he didn't care about you! It was crazy...but then again he did so much for you, even after you hated him and did nothing for him in return.

You were thinking that as you walked to your apartment in Central. Your head was down and your hand on your chin, thinking about this, when you accidentally crashed into someone. "Gah! I'm so sorry!" You apologized, looking up at them. Your eyes nearly went so wide that they fell out of their sockets.

"Long time no see, huh, (Y/N)?" Envy asked.
